    Hi, I have two enities: path <-- node. (one to many) In nodes ArrayController I override -DeleteObjects: to remove path if the last node is removed. Everything works perfect, but it's impossible to save edited document, because nodes are left in [ManagedObjectContext deletedObjcets]. It gives error on save. How to clean them up? Babut

  • How is push()ing and pop()ping defined?

    I know how the push() and pop() methods in a typical implementation of a Queue/Linked List work but what I do want to know is what you actually define as a push or a pop? When can you name a method push()/pop()? What makes the insert()/add() method in a typical Tree implementation not a push()? My understanding is that push()ing means putting something to a position some special pointer is pointing to, and pop()ping an element means putting some object away some pointer is pointing to, but it doesn't seem to be clearly defined. Or does the naming matter at all?

As of now I am pulling in the 20K products, looping through them and modifying some properties and then updating the database. so: load products foreach products session begintransaction productDao.MakePersistant(p); session commit(); As of now things are pretty slow compared to your standard jdbc, what can I do to speed things up? I am sure I am doing something wrong here.

    I need to create a program that converts one number system to other number systems. I used itoa in Windows (Dev C++) and my only problem is that I do not know how to convert binary numbers to other number systems. All the other number systems conversion work accordingly. Does this involve something like storing the input to be converted using %? Here is a snippet of my work: case 2: { printf("\nEnter a binary number: "); scanf("%d", &num); itoa(num,buffer,8); printf("\nOctal %s",buffer); itoa(num,buffer,10); printf("\nDecimal %s",buffer); itoa(num,buffer,16); printf("\nHexadecimal %s \n",buffer); break; } For decimal I used %d, for octal I used %o and for hexadecimal I used %x.   • Is it possible to implement a lightweight database using Blackberry Persistance options?

    First I would like to explain why I want to use alternate Blackberry Persistance options rather than a Blackberry database itself, say SQLite. The reason is that the application i'm designing, I want it to be used in all the previous versions of Blackberry rather than just the ones having OS 5.0 or greater. Now, coming back to the actual question, I have got a database that I want to replicate to be used in the Blackberry application. The database has 8 tables and each table has approximately 12 different columns. One of the table has 1000 rows. Now if I was to implement this DB for a Blackberry application , keeping in mind that it will work on all the versions of Blackberry, what would be the best way to implement it?

    Dear all, I have written up two functions (pseudo code) for calculation the number of nodes and the tree height of a Binary Tree,given the root of the tree. Most importantly,the Binary Tree is represented as the First chiled/next sibling format. so struct TreeNode { Object element; TreeNode *firstChild; TreeNode *nextSibling; } Calculate the # of nodes: public int countNode(TreeNode root) { int count=0; while(root!=null) { root= root.firstChild; count++; } return count; } public int countHeight(TreeNode root) { int height=0; while(root!=null) { root= root.nextSibling; height++; } return height; } This is one of the problem I saw on an algorithm book,and my solution above seems to have some problems,also I didn't quite get the points of using this First Child/right sibling representation of Binary Tree,could you guys give me some idea and feedback,please?     Hi, I found this article (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb967663.aspx) and thought great thats exactly what I'm trying to do. I want to programatically build a product brochure using content controls and openXML. The article in question refers to an accompanying video which unfortunately does not appear to be available, nor does the code. I posted a comment to ask where they are but in the meantime does anybody know of a good example. There are plenty of examples of binding/merging one record into a openXML Word document. But I want to bind a whole list of records to create a product brochure. Can anyone point me to good tutorial? Thanks

  • Combining Content Data in Google Analytics

    When I first start one of my Wordpress blogs, I had the permanent URL for each post include the date of posting. The slug format looked like this: /blog/2010/01/25/this-is-my-article/ Later on, I changed it so that the date was not included in the permanent URL, like this: /blog/this-is-my-article/ and setup a redirect plugin to make sure that users would get to the page they wanted until the site was re-indexed. In Google Analytics, when I review the stats for content I now have multiple records for what is essentially the same page. ie: Top Content List: 45 Pageviews- /blog/this-is-my-article/ 24 Pageviews- /blog/2010/01/25/this-is-my-article/ 33 Pageviews- /blog/some-other-article/ Is there any way to combine those records somehow?

    I'm implementing Bagwell's Ideal Hash Trie in Haskell. To find an element in a sub-trie, he says to do the following: Finding the arc for a symbol s, requires ?nding its corresponding bit in the bit map and then counting the one bits below it in the map to compute an index into the ordered sub-trie. What is the best way to do this? It sounds like the most straightforward way of doing this is to select the bits below that bit and do a population count on the resulting number. Is there a faster or better way to do this?
