  I get them theoretically, but I'm grappling with gzipping files in practice. How should I go about gzip compressing my files, and what needs to be done in order to use them on a shared host? Would the following work? • Sharing login credentials on localhost with 2 web applications on IIS7, possible?

  I have 2 asp.net web applications running in IIS7: http://app1.local/ and http://app2.local/ My host.ini file just maps the above urls to localhost: ::1 app1.local ::1 app2.local I added the same machine key to both their web.config's. When I sign into app2, and then go to app1, the call to Request.IsAuthenticated is false? Should this work?

  The question is pretty simple, is it possible to create a FIPS 140-2 compliant server in Perl? Especially, is it possible without modifying any of the C code for the modules? If it's not possible in straight Perl, what would be the easiest way to go about it from a C perspective? I'm basically creating a mini-httpd that only serves up a single file, but due to security restrictions it needs to be served up on SSL under FIPS compliance.

  I am adding twitter oauth login to my site . and so far i got it to work using oauth. however every time i login i go through the whole authorization process. ( the prompt that allows the user to request or deny the application) is there a way to by pass that once the user has authorized the app? Perhaps i am misunderstanding the process also if so could you please clarify? thank you

  I am adapting the Coverflow technique to work with a div. The coverflow function (included as a js file in the head section) is here. When I dynamically add a DIV, it doesn't show up in the coverflow. I am wondering if there is a way to add a destroy function to this js file so that whenever a new div add is added, I can call the destroy method and then reinstantiate. Any suggestions on how I should go about doing this?

The thing is when I go to the url test.com/index.php?option=com_mycomponent, it still uses the default template instead of the template that I set it to.   hi i have a weird problem and here we go: i am redirecting using this command : return RedirectToAction("ViewMessage", "Account", new {id = model.MessageId}); but in ViewMessage action when i try to get id, its null ?!?!?!?!?? string strMessageId = RouteData.Values["id"] as string; i have done this code in lots of places and it works fine but i dont know what is going on here.... :( i know i can use TempData but i dont want to :)

  I am looking for a way to add a post-commit or pre-commit hook to my VCS that will allow me to both create and close a trac ticket in one go. The use-case is for when a bug has been found, and corrected, but a single developer who wants to make sure the project manager can see the fix has been done, when it was done and what milestone the fix has been done in. We have a default milestone in trac when creating a ticket, so reflecting that information would be good too.

• Error log of make command in Linux

  I am compiling a kernel module and it has many compilation errors in it. After running "make", the errors thrown out are too many to fit in the screen. Scrolling up doesn't reach the first error. I tried capturing the errors by doing make &2 log which didn't work (log file was empty and the error messages were still dumped on screen). Can someone please tell me how to go about logging all the messages generated during compilation/make into a logfile?
