    Hello :) I have a laptop with Unbuntu 12.04 I have connected my laptop with my hdmi-cable to the television. But, unlike in Windows 7 i cant find HDMI as an output anywhere in the settings, neither for video nor audio. can anyone please tell me step by step how i do this ? I just want to "stream" videos, youtube etc from my laptop to my telly :) I appreciate all the help that i can get :) Best regards

    I'm learning Ruby on Rails for a new project of mine. I am referring the book 'Agile Web Development with Rails' which shows how to build a shopping cart and they use scaffolding. I'm pretty familiar with MVC architecture and have used several frameworks in PHP to build applications.     My datasource sends information in 100 batches of 100 records with a delay of 1 to 3 seconds between batches. An issue has arisen where we want to do development in parallel for the upcoming release, as well as the 'next' release.
