  • Need code for make barcode data separate into two textfield

    hello...i have a problem with my project..i want to use barcode scanner for input data to textfield (i'm using jquery). this barcode scanner read serial number and model name of each product..but after scan, serial number and model name appear in one textfield. how to make them appear separately into different text field..first textfield for serial number and second textfield for model name... is there some code to make it??use ajax,javascript or something else??

  • Form won't submit properly in IE

    Hi! My simple donation form submits properly except for Internet Explorer. I'm sure it has to do with issues with change() and focus() or blur(), but all my hundreds of attempts so far have failed me. I tried using .click() instead of change() as mentioned in this post:http://stackoverflow.com/questions/208471/getting-jquery-to-recognise-change-in-ie (and elsewhere), but I could not get it to work! ... so I am overlooking something simple perhaps.   • How do you reference a custom object outside of the function it was created in with JavaScript?

    Hi, I'm currently using JavaScript and jQuery. I have an function which executes once the document is ready, and inside that I am creating objects which contain various attributes. Within the same function, I can access these new object's attributes no problem, however once I'm inside a different function I can't seem to reference them properly and therefore cannot access the objects or the information inside them. What's the correct way to reference the attributes of an object which was created in a different function to the one looking for the information?

Suppose the user enters "in", I want the jqueryui to list countries like 'india', 'indonesia' which start with 'in', but it also lists the countries which have 'in' somewhere in the name (like: argentina). I am looking for cross browser support for rotating the div; however, this CS3 rule won't work on IE.   • textbox not getting refreshed

    i am doing an ajax call and i refresh a partial view. Inside the partial view i have this: <%=Html.TextBox("instance.Id", Model.Id)%> when i put a breakpoint here over Model.Id it has a number in it but after the ajax refresh is done the textbox just shows up with a 0. When i do a full browser refresh, the correct number shows up in the textbox. when i use firebug to look at data in my callback i see this: <input id="instance_Id" name="instance.Id" type="text" value="0" /> Everything else in the partial view refreshes fine. any ideas on what could be going wrong here?

    Hi all, I'm writing a Google Maps app that requests data from the server using jQuery's $.ajax() to send the request to my MVC Contoller. This control expects a List for the category types. What should the querystring look like for this? I've tried http://localhost:9090/mapamenities?amenityTypes=1,5 http://localhost:9090/mapamenities?amenityTypes=[1,5] with no luck.     Hi, I have to use a Virtual(on screen) keyboard on a asp:textbox which has a AjaxControlToolkit's automcomplete attached to it, the virtual keyboard I use is the jQuery keypad plug in: http://keith-wood.name/keypadRef.html , but I have some problems with combining these two: Typing in the virtual keyboard does not trigger the Autocomplete list. When the textbox has autopostback=true if you click anything on virtual keyboard the textbox loses its focus and posts the form.
