• Javascript Methodname is replaced with !==

  Hey! On the server lies a html file with javascript code included. This javascript code includes a method called something like "CheckObject". This file works for all users, except one specific (but important). He gets a javascript error and in his browser sourcode appears something unbelievable: The methodname "CheckObject" is replaced with "Check!==ect", means the "Obj" of the method name is replaced with !==.   I've recently purchased a new hard drive and installed a clean copy of OS X Mavericks. I installed python using homebrew and i need to create a python virtual environment. But when ever i try to run any command using pip, I get this error. I haven't been able to find a solution online for this problem. Any reference would be appreciated. Here is the error I'm getting. • Linker errors between multiple projects in Visual C++

  Hi, I have a solution with multiple projects. I have a "main" project, which acts as a menu and from there, the user can access any of the other projects. On this main project, I get linker errors for every function called. How do I avoid these linker errors? I set the project dependencies already in the "Project Dependencies..." dialog. • php cli script hangs with no messages

  Hi-- I've written a PHP script that runs via SSH and nohup, meant to process records from a database and do stuff with them (eg. process some images, update some rows). It works fine with small loads, up to maybe 10k records. I have some larger datasets that process around 40k records (not a lot, I realize, but it adds up to a lot of work when each record requires the download and processing of up to 50 images). The larger datasets can take days to process. Sometimes I'll see in my debug logs memory errors, which are clear enough-- but sometimes the script just appears to "die" or go zombie on me. My tail of the debug log just stops, with no error messages, the tail of the nohup log ends with no error, and the process is still showing in a ps list, looking like this-- 26075 pts/0 S 745:01 /usr/bin/php ./import.php but no work is getting done. Can anyone give me some ideas on why a process would just quit? The obvious things (like a php script timeout and memory issues) are not a factor, as far as I can tell. Thanks for any tips PS-- this is hosted on a godaddy VDS (not my choice). I am sort of suspecting that godaddy has some kind of limits that might kick in on me despite what overrides I put in the code (such as set_time_limit(0);).

  I am trying to use ORM to access data stored, in three mysql tables 'users', 'items', and a pivot table for the many-many relationship: 'user_item' I followed the guidance from http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1946357/kohana-3-orm-read-additional-columns-in-pivot-tables and tried $user = ORM::factory('user',1); $user->items->find_all(); $user_item = ORM::factory('user_item', array('user_id' => $user, 'item_id' => $user->items)); if ($user_item->loaded()) { foreach ($user_item as $pivot) { print_r($pivot); } } But I get the SQL error: "Unknown column 'user_item.id' in 'order clause' [ SELECT user_item.* FROM user_item WHERE user_id = '1' AND item_id = '' ORDER BY user_item.id ASC LIMIT 1 ]" Which is clearly erroneous because Kohana is trying to order the elements by a column which doesn't exist: user_item.id. This id doesnt exist because the primary keys of this pivot table are the foreign keys of the two other tables, 'users' and 'items'. Trying to use: $user_item = ORM::factory('user_item', array('user_id' => $user, 'item_id' => $user->items)) ->order_by('item_id', 'ASC'); Makes no difference, as it seems the order_by() or any sql queries are ignored if the second argument of the factory is given. Another obvious error with that query is that the item_id = '', when it should contain all the elements. So my question is how can I get access to the data stored in the pivot table, and actually how can I get access to the all items held by a particular user as I even had problems with that? Thanks

Therefore the error that I get is: Fatal error: Call to a member function getCode() on a non-object Please can someone explain to me why this is happening? I guess I am misunderstanding how object references work in PHP5.

• Mysqli query only works on localhost, not webserver

  Hello. I have changed some of my old queries to the Mysqli framework to improve performance. Everything works fine on localhost but when i upload it to the webserver it outputs nothing. After connecting I check for errors and there are none. I also checked the php modules installed and mysqli is enabled. I am certain that it creates a connection to the database as no errors are displayed. Every method I try (from documentation and some blogposts and tutorials) returns an error (like Call to undefined function) or simply gives the incorrect value.   So I have a question. I have chatting/IM website that I am working on and I was making a user profile page. I wanted to show how many posts that user had. Another issue I had earlier was that when I called a certain value it would return a 'Resource #1' type string. But I got that working by using $totalposts=mysql_query("SELECT * FROM `posts` WHERE Username='" . $username . "'"); $totalposts = mysql_fetch_row($totalposts); $totalposts = $totalposts[0]; But that just returns the last postID of the most recent post. I thought that mysql_num_rows would work. But this code returns an error (example with numbers): 29: $totalposts=mysql_query("SELECT * FROM `posts` WHERE Username='" . $username .   Hy Guys, Beginning with mysql. I am not able to grasp the concept of NULL. Check screen-shot (*declare_not_null, link*). In it when I specifically declared 'name' field to be NOT NULL. When i run the 'desc test' table command, the table description shows default value for name field to be NULL.Why is that so? From what I have read about NULL, it connotes a missing or information that is not applicable. So when I declare a field to be NOT NULL it implies (as per my understanding) that user must enter a value for the name field else the DB engine should generate an error i.e. record will not be entered in DB. However when i run 'insert into test value();' the DB engine enters the record in table. Check screen-shot(*empty_value, link*). I remember that in the past I did something like this but today this query is returning nothing, no error, no data, just nothing... the query is something like this: SELECT field1, @variableX:=field2 FROM table WHERE (SELECT COUNT(fieldA) FROM table2 WHERE fieldB=@variableX AND fieldC=0)0 AND (SELECT COUNT(fieldA) FROM table2 WHERE fieldB=@variableX AND fieldC=4)=0; I also tried this query but it didnt work (also it gaves no error): SELECT field1, @variableX:=field2, @variableY:=(SELECT COUNT(fieldA) FROM table2 WHERE fieldB=@variableX AND fieldC=0), @variableZ:=(SELECT COUNT(fieldA) FROM table2 WHERE fieldB=@variableX AND fieldC=4) FROM table WHERE @variableY0 AND @variableZ=0; As you can see, what Im trying to do in the 1st query is use a variable in the conditions; in the 2nd query Im trying to create some variables and evaluate them in the conditions. At the end in the 2nd query the @variableY=1 AND @variableZ=0 but I dont know what the query returns an empty data What could be wrong here??? Any comment or suggest is welcome!!! thanks!!! Bye!!!

  Hello! I have these 2 tables, Medication containing: IDMedication, IDCategory, Name, and Supplier, containing: IDSupplier, Name. I want to automatically create a relationship table, MedicationSupplier, containing: IDMedication and IDSupplier as keys, Price, and Quantity. My idea was to have a main page where i request the following data: (Medication)Name, IDCAtegory, (Supplier)Name, Price, Quantity. I'm not sure if i'm doing the right thing here. So this is what i'm receiveing in the .php where i do the insert: $Denumire=$_POST['Denumire']; //Medication Name $IDCategorie=$_POST['IDCategorie']; //IDCategory $Nume=$_POST['Nume']; //Supplier Name $Pret=$_POST['Pret']; //Price $Stoc=$_POST['Stoc']; //Quantity And this is my insert: $q_produse = "INSERT INTO produse VALUES ('','$IDCategorie','$Denumire')"; $q_prodfurniz = "INSERT INTO produsfurnizor VALUES ('','$IDFurnizor','$Pret','$Stoc')"; mysql_query($q_produse) or die($error); mysql_query($q_prodfurniz) or die($error); mysql_close(); My main problem at the moment is that i don't know how to insert IDMedication in the relationship table. • Error -12 hibernation image. Not enough free memory (sometimes)

  I am having a problem with hibernation in Ubuntu 12.10, it had worked fine in 12.04. When I try and hibernate it sometimes appears to hibernate throws up an error and returns me to the desktop. The error I get is this: PM: Creating hibernation image: PM: Need to copy 375021 pages PM: Normal pages needed: 117957 + 1024, available pages: 110205 PM: Not enough free memory PM: Error -12 creating hibernation image Now I understand what the error means, but it doesn't make sense. My swap file is 5GB and is seldom ever used as I have 4GB of RAM. I know it is recommended to have 1.5 times more swap than RAM etc, but space doesn't seem to be the problem, despite the error. For example, I rarely use more than about 25%-30% of my RAM, yet still have the problem above. Moreover on a fresh boot and login, with no programs open and using only about 12% of RAM, I can get the above error - yet at other times I can hibernate whilst using 25% of my RAM. Also if I keep trying to hibernate, it eventually does after throwing up the above error four or five times. A successful hibernation looks like this: PM: Creating hibernation image: PM: Need to copy 295511 pages PM: Normal pages needed: 95534 + 1024, available pages: 132627 Is there some setting that I need to tweak or something I need to do before hibernating to avoid this problem? I guess the question could be better interpreted as: Is there some way of safely flushing the buffers and the cache before hibernation? Other than attempting to hibernate several times until it is successful! Thanks in advance.

  I've been using InnoDB for a project, and relying on auto_increment. This is not a problem for most of the tables, but for tables with deletion, this might be an issue: AUTO_INCREMENT Handling in InnoDB particularly this part: AUTO_INCREMENT column named ai_col: After a server startup, for the first insert into a table t, InnoDB executes the equivalent of this statement: SELECT MAX(ai_col) FROM t FOR UPDATE; InnoDB increments by one the value retrieved by the statement and assigns it to the column and to the auto-increment counter for the table. This is a problem because while it ensures that within the table, the key is unique, there are foreign keys to this table where those keys are no longer unique. The mysql server does/should not restart often, but this is breaking. Are there any easy ways around this?
