• Is an Iframe my only option?

  I have a job to develop a website. My client wants it so that there is a header, a menu and for the content a rectangle-like box in which you can scroll the text. So that header and menu don't move but the text in the box does. It should look like this: ***********header image *********** menu menu menu menu -------------- | you || | can || | scroll in || | this box || |_____________ Is my only option to implement this an iframe? Would it be bad practice to use an iframe for this?

  Hi, I'm trying to build a website that will allow user to upload video files and show them as a streaming video. I'm a complete newbie in the streaming world so I don't know exactly how to do that, and I definitely don't want to reinvent the wheel. Are there any free platforms that I can use for that? • Can I use reflection to find the bin/[Configuration] folder in ASP.NET instead of the asp temporary

  I have an ASP.NET website and I want to find the /bin/[Configuration] folder to use an external tool. When I use reflection to get calling assemblies location it returns something similar to: C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\...\Temporary ASP.NET Files\a1388a5e\...\my.dll Since each dll has its own directory under the temp ASP.NET Files this fails for me. How can I get the location of the binary, not asp.net's temporary cache?

  I'm learning how to use the ASP.net membership, when a user registers they just create a username and password, however i want to create a page on my website called "profile" where they can fill in extra details such as firstname, lastname, date of birth ect. However i don't see where i can place this in the asp.net membership database. Theres an asp.net_profile table however i'm not sure how this works. Could someone please explain how i can do this?
