Unlike new and delete operators malloc does not call the constructor when an object is created. In that case how must we create an object so that the constructor will also be called.
I'm wanting to order Wordpress posts by the most recent comment. To the best of my knowledge this isn't possible using the WP_Query object, and would require a custom $wpdb query, which I can easily write. However, I then don't know how to setup the loop to run off this object.
Can anyone help?
I have a dojo animation object of about 15 images. I'm also using dojo.fx.chain to link them all together.
Right before I create all my dojo.fadeIn's and dojo.fadeOut's I added in some basic javascript to preload each image.
My question is: Am I doing this the hard way or is there some function/attr I can set in the animation object to do this?
Hi,
I´m trying to get hold of the addresses to the currently used DNS-servers in my application, either I´m connected thru Wifi or mobile.
The DhcpInfo object should provide this but how can I get hold of a valid DhcpInfo object?
Best regards
John
Is there anything in apache commons to convert a Object to byte array, like the following method does?
public static byte[] toByteArray(Object obj) throws IOException {
ByteArrayOutputStream baos = new ByteArrayOutputStream();
ObjectOutputStream oos = new ObjectOutputStream(baos);
oos.writeObject(obj);
oos.flush();
byte[] data = baos.toByteArray();
return data;
}
[try-finally block closing buffers were omitted to simplify]
Hi there,
I'm using CodeIgniter to develop a new web app, and I'd like to create a mobile version that users get redirect to when they visit it from their phones.
The mobile version of the app should have a different flow, so swapping CSS/HTML files in the code is not an option for me since the mobile version and the web version will handle things differently in their Controllers and Views, while sharing the same Models.
Anyway how I could do this efficiently?
Your help is much appreciated. :)
I need inherit events and properties for example move a picture around the form
Y have this code to move the picture but y need create multiple images with the same behavior
private void pictureBox_MouseDown(object sender, MouseEventArgs e)
{
if (e.Button == MouseButtons.Left)
{
x = e.X;
y = e.Y;
}
}
private void pictureBox_MouseMove(object sender, MouseEventArgs e)
{
if (e.Button == MouseButtons.Left)
{
pictureBox.Left += (e.X -x);
pictureBox.Top += (e.Y - y);
}
}
Dear all,
Do anyone know if there are alternatives of Django-SocialAuth which support Google, Facebook, Twitter and OpenID account.
I prefer webapp version instead of Django.
Or if you have done once would you mind sharing it?
Thanks in million.

According to Serializable javadoc, readResolve() is intended for replacing an object read from the stream. But is it OK to use it for restoring transient fields, like so:
private Object readResolve() {
transientField = something;
return this;
}
as opposed to using readObject():
private void readObject(ObjectInputStream s) {
s.defaultReadObject();
transientField = something;
}
Is there any reason to choose one over other, when used to just restore transient fields?
If an object exists outside of Flash's stage boundaries, is on the Display List, and is visible, is it causing a performance hit from Flash rendering it? In other words, does Flash render what isn't seen?
This leads me to believe so:

Is there a utility to get a property which isnt prefixed by get from an object using reflection similar to BeanUtils? e.g. if I specify "hashcode" and I want to get the object.hashcode() value.
Thanks.
Hi all

I'm using the WebRequest object to post data to a login page, then post data to a seperate page on the same site. I am instantiating a CookieContainer and assigning it to the WebRequest object so that the cookies are handled. The problem is that I do not want to retain the cookie after I post data to the other page. How can I delete that cookie?
Is there a way to programmatically retrieve the maximum float value for php. Akin to FLT_MAX or std::numeric_limits< float >::max() in C / C++?
I am using something like the following:
$minimumCost = MAXIMUM_FLOAT_VALUE??;
foreach ( $objects as $object )
{
$cost = $object->CalculateCost();
if ( $cost < $minimumCost )
{
$minimumCost = $cost;
}
}
(using php 5.2)
I have a listbox bound to a list of objects for a data entry screen. The item template includes textblocks, a checkbox and comboboxes.
When the listbox is populated I would like to change the foreground color of the textblocks to red if object.value1 = true and object.value2 = 0.
Any ideas?
By using left hand rule, I rotate one object left and right using x axis, and rotate up/down using y axis.
After first object is rotated to the right, the up/down rotation should be using z axis.
However, when I try to rotate using z axis, after the first rotation, it has the same effect when I rotate using y axis.
Anyone has any ideas?
Thanks
For any given type i want to know its default value.
In C#, there is a keyword called default for doing this like
object obj = default(Decimal);
but I have an instance of Type (called myType) and if I say this,
object obj = default(myType);
it doesn't work
Is there any good way of doing this?
I know that a huge switch block will work but thats not a good choice.
Very short question: Is there a more elegant way to do this:
Object tmp;
try {
tmp = somethingThatCanFail();
} catch (Fail f) {
tmp = null;
}
final Object myObject = tmp;
i read this statement from a book i read
The Document Object Model or DOM is really not a part of JavaScript but a separate entity existing outside it. Although you can use JavaScript to manipulate DOM objects, other scripting languages may equally well access them too.
what is the best way to avoid conflict between javascript and other client-siede scripting language when we have to deal with XMLHTTPRequest object
I have a NSTableView that is displaying an array of objects I have. For each of these objects (rows) I would like to change the color of the text displayed depending on the results of a function I run on each object;
So for example all the object in the table that exist in another list (or some other requirement) I want to display them in green text, and objects that don't exist display in red.
How would I go about doing this?
can I load a ps1 file from within a ps1 file.
The end goal is to make a ps1 file that I put in my profile on all my computers and have a floating profile that I can put paths to pocket utilities in.
I'll probably put this in a code repo, or some outside sharing mechanism.
I followed Apple's example for creating a managed object which btw was great...
http://developer.apple.com/cocoa/coredatatutorial/index.html
However I now want to know what "name" (filename) the user saved his data as. Does anyone know how to pull the filename from the core data object.
something like this would be great...
NSLog (@"the filename is %@", [coreData filename]);
Any ideas?
I have a Bitmap object and want to render it to a Canvas object with varying levels of translucency (i.e. make the whole bitmap partially see through). For example, I have sprites in a game (that are drawn over the top of a bitmap background) that I want to fade out from being opaque to being invisible. Can I do this without having to resort to OpenGL?
