• Can't bind spawn-fcgi to address

  Following some nice instructions I am almost through setting up PHP to run on nginx.   How can I specify the content type of an attachment when sending emails using sp_send_dbmail? The content type is specified as application/octet-stream for Zip, PDF files. But I need to change it to application/zip, application/pdf. The "file_attachments" parameter takes absolute paths of the attachments. Can not find a place to specify content type. I am using SQL Server 2005/2008 Please help. Thanks

• Apache/passenger/ree doesn't interpret .rb files

  I'm trying to get apache + passenger + ree to work. I think I did everything (except for setting up rails env - for now I wanna run just pure ruby) described here: http://rvm.beginrescueend.com/integration/passenger/ But when I try to go to localhost/test.rb it doesn't interpret that file and just download it.   I am using Padrino and when I try to specify my application.sass file I get this error NameError at / uninitialized constant Sass::SyntaxError I thought I might have something missing, so I checked out the sample_blog application at their GIT to verify my SASS is working correct. It was working correct and the blog app was running fine. Then I decided to change a line in the blog's application.sass and I got this error. I am using TextMate to edit the file. Weird indeed, any advices?

  I am having a hard time getting cxf to validate an xml request that my service creates for a 3rd party. My project uses maven. Here is my project structure Main Module : + Sub-Module1 = Application + sub-Module2 = Interfaces In Interfaces, inside src/main/resources I have my wsdl and xsd. so, src/main/resources + mywsdl.wsdl. + myschema.xsd The interface submodule is listed as a dependency in the Application-sub-module. inside Application sub-module, there is a cxsf file in src/maim/resources. <jaxws:client name="{myTargerNameSpaceName}port" createdFromAPI="true"> <jaxws:properties> <entry key="schema-validation-enabled" value="true" /> </jaxws:properties> </jaxws:client> AND:. <jaxws:endpoint name="{myTargetNameSpaceName}port" wsdlLocation="/mywsdl.wsdl" createdFromAPI="true"> <jaxws:properties> <entry key="schema-validation-enabled" value="true" /> </jaxws:properties> </jaxws:endpoint> I tried changing the "name="{myTargetNameSpaceName}port" to "name="{myEndPointName}port" But to no anvil. My application works. But it just do not validate the xml I am producing that has to be consumed by a 3rd party application. I would like to get the validation working, so that any request that I send would be a valid one. Any suggestions?

  Greetings, coders, Background Info and Code I am trying to create a daemon-type program (e.g., it runs constantly, polling for things to do) that is managed by a GWT application (servlets in a WAR) which is in turn served by an embedded Jetty server (using a WebAppContext). I'm having problems making the GWT application aware of the daemon object. For testing things, I currently have two projects: The daemon and embedded Jetty server in one (EmbJetTest), and the GWT application in another (DefaultApp). Am I going about this completely the wrong way? Something tells me I am, but I can't think of another way to make the daemon available to both applications. Is there a better way to communicate with the daemon from the GWT application? Should the GWT app own the daemon and somehow start the daemon itself? The daemon needs to run even if no one visits the one of the GWT app's servlets--how could I do this? If I am on the right track, how can I get around the classloader issue? Thanks in advance.

  I'm sure everyone has experienced it - if you leave a computer on too long, every once in a while, it needs a fresh reboot. I have a laptop, and I only hibernate it, but every week or two, I'm going to need to restart otherwise it will just slow down (usually when windows update makes me restart) I was wondering though... why? What are some of the things that occur that eat up memory that can seemingly not be freed unless I reboot the OS. In addition, are there any programs I can get that can free up this memory and keep the computer alive for longer? Preferably for windows 7.

  Hello everyone, I heard on Windows x64 architecture, in order to support to run both x86 and x64 application, there is two separate/different sets of Windows registry -- one for x86 application to access and the other for x64 application to access? For example, if a COM registers CLSID in the x86 set of registry, then x64 application will never be able to access the COM component by CLSID, because x86/x64 have different sets of registry? So, my question is whether my understanding of the above sample is correct? I also want to get some more documents to learn this topic, about the two different sets of registry on x64 architecture.   Following a discussion made HERE about how PHP-FPM consuming memory, I just found a problem in reading the memory in top command. Here is a screenshot of my top just after restarting PHP-FPM. Everything is normal: about 20 PHP-FPM processes, each consuming 5.5MB memory (0.3% of total). Here is the aged server right before restart of PHP-FPM (one day after the previous restart). Here, we still have about 25 PHP-FPM with double memory usage (10MB indicating 0.5% of total). Thus, the total memory used should be 600-700 MB. Then, why 1.6GB memory has been used?

• How can I detect when the .NET framework is "turned off"?

  My application requires the .NET Framework version 3.5. I recently ran into a customer that had the .NET Framework installed but turned off. In this case, my installer (InstallShield 2009) does not prompt the user to install the Framework (because it is already installed) and when my application runs it crashes immediately. I tried another .NET application and it also crashes immediately. Is there any way to detect this situation and handle it more gracefully? Just detecting this during install is not ideal since the .NET Framework can be turned off at any time. Ideally, the application would be able to check and display a friendly message to the user telling them they need to turn on the .NET Framework.

• Ubuntu not connecting to network in Hyper-V

  I am unable to connect the Ubuntu guest (both 12.10 and 12.04) to the internet via hyper-V. Here is what I have done so far (with much thanks due to @Kronos's blog post on the topic): Created a switch in the switch manager with connection set to external, selected my wifi card (Intel Centrino Ultimate-N 6300 AGN). If it matters, the Microsoft Filtering Platform is checked under extensions. Added this switch to my Ubuntu guest. I also tried a different wireless card (Aethros 9285) same issue. Connecting through my wired card works just fine (assume that I select that card, and I am wired in of course). Making it a legacy network adapter does not fix the issue. Ubuntu can see this connection, but is unable to connect to it. What follows is what I attempted to do to get Ubuntu to connect: Start and restart the network manager Restart the machine Verify that it could in fact see the adapter (resulted in device not ready a few times) How can I get this to work properly?

  I'm trying to configure CUPS to allow remote administration through the web interface. There's enough documentation out there that I can figure out what to change in my cupsd.conf (changing Listen localhost:631 to Port 631, and adding Allow @LOCAL to the /, /admin and /admin/conf sections). I'm now at the point where I can see the CUPS interface from another machine on the same network. The trouble is, when I try to Add Printer, I'm asked for a username and password, but my response is rejected even when I know I've gotten it right (I assume it's asking for the username and password of someone in the lpadmin group on the server machine; I've sshed in with credentials its rejecting, and the user I'm using has been added to the lpadmin group). If I disable auth outright, by changing DefaultAuthType Basic to DefaultAuthType None, I get an "Unauthorized" error instead of a password request when I try to Add Printer. What am I doing wrong? Is there a way of letting users from the local network to administer the print server through the CUPS web interface? • Loading an external SWF App in a new Air window with resize functionality

  Hello everyone, i'm trying to load a local SWF Application in my Air Application via the SWFLoader class. The SWFLoader class is displayed in a new Window. Therefore, i'm trying to resize the window automatically, when the Flash Application is resizing. But here's the problem. The SWFLoader does not get any events when the loader App has been resized. The Problem seems to be the Sandbox Restrictions. I'm able to call methods in the childSandboxBridge and parentSandboxBridge Objects that i've set in the LoaderInfo of the SWFLoaders content (the loaded SWF Application). But i cannot listen to any ResizeEvents or something like that when i'm resizing the loaded App. I'm aware of the workaround with the Loader Class and the codeExecution Property, but i don't want to bypass the Air Sandbox - if possible. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks in advance

• PHP to C/C++ through CGI script

  Hi guys! I realize it's probably something strange, but here is what I have. I have an application (handwriting recognition engine) written in C/C++. This application has Perl wrapper which was made by application's authors using SWIG. My website is written in PHP, so I'm looking for some ways to make PHP work with C/C++ application. The only way I can think of now is to create a CGI script (perl script) which accepts POST request from my website (AJAX request), sends it to the recognition engine through it's Perl wrapper, gets the required data and returns the required data as a response to AJAX request. Do you think it could be done this way? Are there any better solutions? Thank you!

  I am trying to share sessions between two web applications, both hosted on the same server. One is a .net 2.0 web forms application the other is as .net 3.5 MVC2 application. Can what I am trying to do be done?

  Let's say I have a Tomcat and a web application on it with index.html is in catalina_home\webapps\ROOT\index1.html and this web application runs successfully to the internet. Also I have a glassfish with another application deployed on it with let's say an index2.jsp. Can I have a link in index1 that can open index2?

  Hi, I have taken ownership of an application which is a .net win forms application which hosts a System.Windows.Forms.WebBrowser. When the application launches it makes a http request to load a xap file. I immediately see "install silverlight" icon and on clicking get: "Microsoft Silverlight cannot be used in browsers running in 64 bit mode". The app was written initially on a 32 bit machine although I have a 64 bit machine. Any ideas what I need to tweak to get this running? JD

  Hello! I have made a subclass of NSObject that is meant to be the model of my application.
