    Hi, I was following the site http://railstutorial.org/ and in the chapter 7, it shows an example of how to use gravatar_for. I tried to use it using <%= gravatar_for @user % but it does not render correctly in my browser (firefox/opera/chrome) it render this html: classgravatartitleratingPGstylewidth:50px;height:50px;background:url(http://www.gravatar.com/avatar/bebfcf57d6d8277d806a9ef3385c078d?rating=PG&size=50) no-repeat;sslfalsealtdefault Could someone give me the solution for this problem? My question is this: what is the best way to handle the situation when a search engine visits a URL corresponding to a removed article? Should the app respond with a permanent redirect (301 Moved Permanently) to a "article not found" page, or is there a better way to handle this?

  • double click and select the path(including '/') in Terminal.app

    I'm using Terminal.app on Mac OS10.6.3, with gnu screen and zsh. What I want to do is, see pwd(or an URL) in Terminal.app and double click on it, and select the whole path, to copy and paste after that. But what I get now is a single directory name, because '/' is not treated as a word. I found that iTerm has a setting to change it(iTerm - Preferences - Mouse - Characters considered part of a word), but is there any way to do this on my environment?

    I installed a local version of Laconica microblogging in my env. Then I downlowaded SPAZ (an AIR client) to try and talk to the Laconica app. I get an authenitcation error.
