  • How to find an array from parent array

    - by Me-and-Coding
    Hi, I am using below code to find an array inside parent array but it is not working that is retuning empty even though the specified key exits in the parent array. $cards_parent = $feedData['BetradarLivescoreData']['Sport']['Category']['Tournament']['Match']; $cards = array(); foreach($cards_parent as $key => $card) { if ($key === 'Cards') { $cards[] = $cards_parent[$key]; break; } } Do you know any array function that will search parent array for specified key and if found it will create an array starting from that key. Thanks

  • Advantages of using a Dynamic Client with JAX-WS

    - by jconlin
    What are the advantages of using a dynamic client with JAX-WS services as opposed to just using generated client classes? What are the disadvantages? **For my particular case I am using Apache CXF, I'm not sure what other libraries allow "dynamic" clients. -I thought I didn't need to add this, but... I'm looking for non-obvious(I know...subjective) advantages. I don't need someone else to tell me that an advantage of not using generated classes is that I don't need to generate classes.

  • What makes an input vulnerable to XSS?

    - by vtortola
    Hi! I've been reading about XSS and I made a simple form with a text and submit input, but when I execute <script>alert();</script> on it, nothing happens, the server gets that string and that's all. What do I have to do for make it vulnerable?? (then I'll learn what I shouldn't do hehe) Cheers.

  • Which templating languages output HTML *as a tree of nodes*?

    - by alamar
    HTML is a tree of nodes, before all. It's not just a text. However, most templating engines handle their input and output as it was just a text; they don't care what happens around their tags, their {$foo}'s and <% bar() %>'s; also they don't care about what are they outputting. Sometimes they happen to produce a correct html, but that's just a coincidence; they didn't aim for that, all they wanted is to replace some funny marks in the text stream with their evaluation. There are a few templating engines which do treat their output as a set of nodes; XSLT and Haml come to mind. For some tasks, this has advantages: for example, you can automatically reformat (like, delete all empty text nodes; auto-indent; word-wrap). The result is guaranteed to be a correct xml/sgml unless you use a strict subset of operations that can break that. Also, such templating engine would automatically quote strings, differently in text nodes and in attributes, because it strictly knows whether you're writing an attribute or a text node. Moreover, it can conditionally remove a node from output because it knows where it does begin and end, which is useful, and do other non-trivial node operations. You might not like XSLT for its verbosiness or functionalness, but it's damn helps that your template is xmllint-able XML, and your output is a good sgml/xml. So the question is: Which template engines do you know that treat their output as a set of correct nodes, not just an unstructured text? I know XSLT, Haml and some obscure python-based one. Moar!

  • Android 2.1 address bar causes change in viewport dimensions

    - by davehumyo
    Hi, I have a page that has a 100% width and height div in it (all surrounding elements are sized accordingly so that it does actually achieve 100% width and height). Below that div I have a second div with a fixed height. In mobile safari and blackberry everything is fine, when the page loads the dimensions are applied correctly (the top div filling the viewport) and the user can scroll down to reveal the second div. Android 2.1 also applies the dimensions correctly, but with an added quirk; when the user scrolls down and removes the address bar from the page, the dimensions of the div are recalculated to fill the viewport, causing the content to jump. Ideally I would like the dimensions of the div to remain static when the page is scrolled, but remain 100% so that it will fill the viewport regardless of device size or orientation. Does anyone know of any way to disable this recalculation? Thanks for any help you can provide.

  • Post complex types to WebApi Client

    - by BumbleBee
    I am new to WebAPI. I have a MVC project and webApi project both reside under the **same solution**. Also, BLL Class library and DAL class library reside under the same solution. Earlier, my MVC project will talk to the BLL now I am trying to create a WebAPi project which stands in between MVC and BLL. Here is what I have come up with so far : I'm using the HTTPClient to post to a WebApi project. My post method on my controller accepts a single parameter (a model). StatsCriteria criteria = new StatsCriteria(); ...... var client = new HttpClient(); var response = client.PostAsJsonAsync("http://localhost:52765/api/reports", criteria).Result; ....... Here's the signature for my controller in Webapi [HttpPost] public CMAReportVM Reports([FromBody] StatsCriteria criteria) { var cmaReport = Service3.GetCMAReport(criteria.Mlsnums); //Create Map to enable mapping business object to View Model Mapper.CreateMap<CMAReport, CMAReportVM>(); // Maps model to VM model class var cmaVM = Mapper.Map<CMAReport, CMAReportVM>(cmaReport); reutn cmaVM; } // and here's my routing: config.Routes.MapHttpRoute( name: "DefaultApi", routeTemplate: "api/{controller}/{id}", defaults: new { id = RouteParameter.Optional } I am getting the following 405 : Method not allowed. As the WebAPI and MVC project both reside under same sloution I am not sure where/how to host my webapi.

  • Service-Based Authentication Using Tokens

    - by jerhinesmith
    I'm having a tough time trying to find clear and concise examples of how one would implement a service-based authentication scheme using tokens. As far as I can tell, the basic steps are as follows: Client requests username/password from user Client passes username/password to identity provider Provider checks username/password and sends back a token if the user is valid Client does something with the token? The third and fourth step are where I'm getting stuck. I assume the "token" in this case just has to be either an encrypted string that the client can decrypt or some random string that gets stored somewhere (i.e. a database) that the client can then verify against, but I'm not really sure what the client is then supposed to do with the token or why you even need a token at all -- couldn't a simple user ID also suffice?

  • Best Website Statistics tool for Drupal

    - by Olav
    What is the best free Website statistics setup I can have for Drupal 6 on Apache? Particularities: 1. Multisite install. Might want to look over several sites. Should be able to restrict view for clients to their own site. Some hits are bypassing Drupal. Some urls are not public. Some sites have little traffic, it would be nice to be able to exclude "own" traffic. Logged in users are not so important (It seems Google Analytics is popular)

  • Best practice to send secure information over e-mail?

    - by Zolomon
    I have to send sensitive information (name, address, social security number etc.) collected from a website, that has been entered by a user, to an e-mail address. What is the best course of action to make the information secure and easy to extract on the receiver side? Edit: I will be using ASP.NET for the website, not sure what it has for capabilities on this matter. Edit: If I decide to store the information in a database and just send a mail when a new entry has been made, would this be better? And create some secure way to dump the information instead.

  • SimpleMembership updating the "isconfirmed" flag

    - by Vijay V
    My Users table (the one that I created) has the following columns: UserId,UserName,FirstName,LastName,DOB After I ran this command WebSecurity.InitializeDatabaseConnection("DefaultConnection", "Users", "UserId", "UserName", autoCreateTables: true); it created the required simple membership tables for me. How would I go about "UnConfirming" an user or setting the "IsConfirmed" flag to false in the webpages_Membership using the new SimpleMembership API? (Earlier, before going to simplemembership using the "Membership" class I could update an user using the api call : Membership.UpdateUser( user );)

  • PHP registration script: verifying and telling the user what went wrong

    - by Maxime
    Hi, I'm building a registration script and I want to insert the user's input (username, mail) ONLY if it's not already in the database. What I usually do in such cases is a request to see if something's already there, something like: "SELECT * FROM things WHERE thing_name = '$treated_user_input'". I have two fields that need to be unique this time though. Is there a way to do only one SELECT request and still be able to tell the user exactly what field went wrong? Or do I have to do one request per unique field? Thanks for your answers.

  • Unable to Use Simple JSOUP Example To Parse Website Table Data

    - by OhNoItsAnOverflow
    I'm attempting to extract the following data from a table via Android / JSOUP however I'm having a bit of trouble nailing down the process. I think I'm getting close to being able to do this using the code I've provided below - but for some reason I still cannot get my textview to display any of the table data. P.S. Live URL's can be provided if necessary. SOURCE: public class MainActivity extends Activity { TextView tv; final String URL = "http://exampleurl.com"; @Override public void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) { super.onCreate(savedInstanceState); setContentView(R.layout.activity_main); tv = (TextView) findViewById(R.id.TextView01); new MyTask().execute(URL); } private class MyTask extends AsyncTask<String, Void, String> { ProgressDialog prog; String title = ""; @Override protected void onPreExecute() { prog = new ProgressDialog(MainActivity.this); prog.setMessage("Loading...."); prog.show(); } @Override protected String doInBackground(String... params) { try { Document doc = Jsoup.connect(params[0]).get(); Element tableElement = doc.getElementsByClass("datagrid") .first(); title = doc.title(); } catch (IOException e) { e.printStackTrace(); } return title; } @Override protected void onPostExecute(String result) { super.onPostExecute(result); prog.dismiss(); tv.setText(result); } } } TABLE: <table class="datagrid"> <tbody><tr> <th>Item No.</th> <th>Name</th> <th>Sex</th> <th>Location</th> </tr> <tr> <td><a href="redirector.cfm?ID=a33660a3-aae0-45e3-9703-d59d77717836&amp;page=1&amp;&amp;lname=&amp;fname=" title="501207593">501207593&nbsp;</a></td> <td>USER1</td> <td>M&nbsp;</td> <td>Unknown</td> </tr> <tr> <td><a href="redirector.cfm?ID=edf524da-8598-450f-9373-da87db8d6c84&amp;page=1&amp;&amp;lname=&amp;fname=" title="501302750">501302750&nbsp;</a></td> <td>USER2</td> <td>M&nbsp;</td> <td>Unknown</td> </tr> <tr> <td><a href="redirector.cfm?ID=a78abeea-7651-4ac1-bba2-0dcb272c8b77&amp;page=1&amp;&amp;lname=&amp;fname=" title="531201804">531201804&nbsp;</a></td> <td>USER3</td> <td>M&nbsp;</td> <td>Unknown</td> </tr> </tbody></table>

  • jQuery i++ and i-- problems ... what on earth???

    - by michael
    Could someone please tell me what I am doing wrong? I'm not a newbie at programming but I feel like it tonight! Every time I increment the incrementing variable it throws a fit! When add one to it, it behaves fine, but if I try to add one more to it it wants to add 2 more. And then if I try to de-increment it wants to subtract from the original number that it was assigned to. I've tried: i++; i = i+1; i = i++; Nothing seems to work. It's got to be a stupid mistake. Press the buttons to increment and de-increment. http://michaelreynolds.net/iphone/ here's the code: var dayNum = 30; //---------------------------------------------------------------------- $.jQTouch({ icon: 'dailyqoteicon.png', statusBar: false, initializeTouch: 'a.touch' }); //---------------------------------------------------------------------- $(document).ready(function(){ //$(function(){}); $(function(){ $('a.touch').swipe( function(event, info){ //alert("jQTouch swipe event"); //alert(info.direction); }); }); $(function updateVerse(){ //alert("updateVerse called"); $.ajax({ type: "GET", dataType: 'JSON', data: 'day='+ dayNum, url: 'forward.php', success: function(data){ var obj = $.parseJSON(data); $("h2.quote").html(""); $("h3.reference").html(""); $("h2.quote").append(obj.quote); $("h3.reference").append(obj.reference, " ", obj.version); //$("span.version").append(obj.version); //----------------------------------- // JSON string {"id":"1","quote":"For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain","reference":"Philippians 1:21","version":"NKJV"} }, error: function(request, error){ alert("problem retrieving json data string"); } }); function addDayNum(){ dayNum = dayNum + 1; //dayNum = dayNum++; } function subDayNum(){ dayNum = dayNum - 1; //dayNum = dayNum--; } $("div#header a.next").tap( function(){ addDayNum(); //dayNum++;// doesn't work at all //dayNum = dayNum + 1;//doesn't work at all updateVerse(); //alert(dayNum); //alert("next clicked"); }); $("div#header a.prev").live('click', function(){ subDayNum(); //dayNum--;//doesn't work at all //dayNum = dayNum - 1;// doesn't work at all updateVerse(); //alert(dayNum); //alert("previous clicked"); }); }); });
