• How do I get just the x or y position of the background image using prototype?

  Hey, I'm making a simple user friendly css editor using Prototype. Anyway, I was wondering whether I could get the background-position x/y values on their own? I wish I could do something like this but sadly it doesn't work: element.getStyle('background-position-x); I guess this is because position comes in different forms like 'center' rather than just being generic.

I need to know how I can have my iOS Application start a download in the background of the application (like, have the download run in the AppDelegate file) so changing ViewControllers will not interrupt or cancel the download. I also need to be able to get the progress of the download (0.00000 - 1.00000), to set a UIProgressView object to, which also means I need a - (void)progressDidChangeTo:(int)progress function.

• MonoRail - How to grab records where a column isn't null

  Hey, In MonoRail/Active Record if I want to grab all records that have a certain column equal to null, I can do: public static Category[] AllParentCategories() { return (FindAllByProperty("Parent.Id", null)); } However, what if I want to grab all records where that column doesn't equal null? I can't figure out how to do that using this FindAllByProperty method, is there another method that is more flexible or a way to grab records using a linq-like querying language? Thanks, Justin

  Hey, I have a problem with moving a MovieClip to front in actionscript3. The main problem is, everytime I try to move it to front, using setChildIndex() I get an error message witch tells me, that the movieclip (that I named my_tofront) cannot converted to a flash.display.DisplayObject full error message: TypeError: Error #1034: Type Coercion failed: cannot convert my_tofront$ to flash.display.DisplayObject. Why is this happening, and whats the solution for this problem?
