  • Setting dijit.Tree cookie for all pages

    I'm using the same dijit.Tree view over several pages in our application, and I'd like to have the cookie saved for the server name, instead of the folder name. Right now I've got 3 pages and 3 cookies, which each hold their own information on the state of the Tree, which is kinda annoying. Any ways to accomplish this? The only thing I've found on cookies in the API, is that I can set the cookieName and turn cookies on/off.

  • How to know about results of work with COM component?

    I suppose this question is more general than working with COM components. I have a .NET client written in C# and COM component written in pure Win32 API. Client side uses this component to perform some actions. How to know on the client that component did its job? I think it may be socket/pipe, with component writing to it about results, and client reading from it displaying progress to the user. What is the best way to do this?

    Hi, I'm in the process of building my first serious Flex application and have started out using Flex 3.4 even though 4.0 was available mainly due to the larger number of resources. But now I feel very comfortable with the Flex API's, is it worth upgrading to Flex 4? What are the benefits?     I want to set the LayoutParams for an ImageView but cant seem to find out the proper way to do it. I can only find documentation in the API for the various ViewGroups, but not an ImageView. Yet the ImageView seems to have this functionality. This code doesn't work... myImageView.setLayoutParams(new ImageView.LayoutParams(30,30)); How do I do it?

    I am using jxl api for generating a excel sheet, in which the alternate rows are highlighted, when I sort the contents of a excel and sort manually, the cell background colors messup, usually this is because I am writing the color cell by cell, is there anyway through which i color the alternate rows of the excel while generating it, in such a way that it doesnt effect the sorting of the contents.

I would prefer NON-com.sun.* as per java conventions, but still my dependencies ( e.g. Spring ) are using implementations from com.sun.* OR I can't find an implementation package in javax.xml Does anyone have any experience on this?

What I mean is that there seems to be a standard way to document code. php.net and api.jquery.com seem to document there code the a similar way.     I'm working on a JSF 2.0 project using Mojarra, PrimeFaces and Tomcat 6.x. I need to use c:forEach for some primefaces component like dynamic number of p:tab but i have problem with the c:forEach. All the other tag of JSTL work nice. I have the following error : java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: javax/servlet/jsp/jstl/core/LoopTagStatus I use the following xmlns:c="http://java.sun.com/jsp/jstl/core", i tried to replace with xmlns:c="http://java.sun.com/jstl/core" but nothing display with the second.     When you choose a log scale, ggplot2 formats the breaks like 10^x. I'd like it to not do that. For example, the code below should display a graph with ticks at 1, 2, 5 etc, not 10^0, 10^0.3, 10^0.69 etc. library(ggplot2) dfr <- data.frame(x = 1:100, y = rlnorm(100)) breaks <- as.vector(c(1, 2, 5) %o% 10^(-1:1)) p1 <- ggplot(dfr, aes(x, y)) + geom_point() + scale_y_log10(breaks = breaks) print(p1) I guess that adding a formatter argument to scale_y_log10 would do the trick, but I'm not sure what to put in the argument, or where the options might be documented.

    I am using the mingw(4.4.0) compiler that is included with QT4 and my IDE is netbeans 6.9. i noticed that i can't find netcon.h when i try to include it.I need netcon.h because i need some kind of API to bring up/down a network adapter,and after some googling i found that netcon.h is most commonly used. Linking netcon.h directly from the microsoft sdk produces lots of errors.Or is there some other library to alows me to reset an adapter, or i had to visual C++ completely to solve this problem?

    Hello, I have created an application that records a series of longitude and latitude values in a SQLite database and display them as a coloured track on a MapActivity. I now want to be able to export this data somehow (preferably to a file) so a user can upload the values to a website showing a Google Map API. My question is: what would be the quickest way to export the data (and in what file format: GPX, XML, CSV) to the SD card located on the Android device. Many thanks.

    Including DISTINCT to an SQL query that also uses ORDER BY CAST(thecolumn AS int) as shown here seems to remove that sorting functionality. Any reason these cant work together?     After I discontinued programming in C++ while entering into web authoring I was spoilt by PHP's high level constructs like hash tables or its dynamic, weak typing. I remembered the angst of C/C++ pointers and the maze of low-level Win32 API handles and message loops and that prevented me from utilizing environments like Code::Blocks for desktop applications. I am also not very fond of bulky, statically-typed C#/.NET environment. Any other ideas?

  • Soundcloud uploading to specific set/playlist

    I'm uploading some audio to soundcloud, but would like to add the audio to a specific playlist i have also created, without making an extra request (see "Adding Sounds to a Set" http://developers.soundcloud.com/docs/api/guide#uploading). Is it possible to upload directly to a playlist? Alternatively, I could send an extra request to add the track to the playlist but how would you do this in AS3. I see examples for JavaScript but am unsure how this would work in Flash.

    I'd like to have Ant automatically include or import resources matching a particular pattern, but I'm really struggling with the syntax. Here's what I've tried: <import> <fileset dir="${basedir}" includes="*-graph.xml" /> </import> However, I just get the error message import requires file attribute or at least one nested resource The documentation for import (and include) both say that you can use a nested resource collection, and the documentation for resource collections says <fileset> is a resource collection. I've Googled and can't find any useful examples at all. I'm using Ant 1.8.1 (verified with ant -version)
