I was wondering if there is a straightforward way of getting a user's session cookie and posting it to a page on a different site to be processed there?
hello.
I am wondering if there is local version control/snapshots for emacs independent of VC?
let me clarify:
every time I save buffer, I would like to be able to keep track of changes of each save in session. I know I can do something similar with backup files, but they are not automated like VC and a somewhat cumbersome.
I have searched Google, but did not find the solution.
Perhaps my query string was not good.
Thanks
I need to design an in-house server-based system that will store hundreds of thousands of files (images, spreadsheets, text documents) with users accessing metadata as well as files remotely. What are my options? ASP.Net MVC or WinForms with WCF service? I am really stuck here because I am a newbie.
Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Hello,
For instance if I do something like:
Criteria c = session.createCriteria(Book.class)
.add(Expression.ge("release",reDate);
.add(Expression.ge("price",price);
.addOrder( Order.asc("date") )
.setFirstResult(0)
.setMaxResults(10);
c.list();
How can I use the same criteria instance, but remove (for example) the second criterion?
I'm trying to build a dynamic query in which I'd like to let the user remove a filter, without the backend having to reconstruct the criteria from scratch.
Thank you
I wonder if there is a supported way to access the SharePoint 2010 SQL Server through an API?
I'm not talking about modifying any SharePoint Database directly (I know that that is still unsupported), but I'd like to store some data that my application needs, and instead of asking the user to enter a Connection String, I'd prefer to create my own database on the SQL Server that SharePoint uses.
I think I could use the new Service Application stuff, but that seems a bit overkill?
I'm working on a web based form builder that uses a mix of Jquery and PHP server side interaction. While the user is building the form I'm trying to determine the best method to store each of one of the form items before all the data is sent to the server. I've looked at the following methods
Javascript arrays
XML document
Send each form item to the server side to be stored in a session
HI
friends, i wish to store image and resume of user in the data base.
i am using mysql data base and php5. i want to know that which field i set means data type.and how i set the range (maximum size) for uploaded data.
what algorithms should I explore to implement a feature which lets a user find other user located near him , the latitude and the longitudes of all the user are known in advance and are fixed [not dynamic].
Also i believe that there should be a better way to store such data then simply storing the lat , long of the user against his user id in a database.What are the efficient ways to handle this ?
I would like to create a time counter in my app that shows the user how many minutes the app has been running the current session and total. How do I create such time counter and how do I save the value to the phone? I'm new to app developement.
My User object that I want to create and store in the datastore has an email, and a username. How do I make sure when creating my User object that another User object doesn't also have either the same email or the same username?
If I just do a query to see if any other users have already used the username or the email, then there could be a race condition.
My c# application opens the Internet explorer for different web URL/ domains.
And I have all those credential information (username, password and domain name) stored in the database for each web application.
Now how I can authenticate automatically without entering credential in “Network Credential” dialog box using code or bypass that dialog box? In other words I need to store those credential on system so no need to enter.
I am using c#
iphone dev has this rule for iphone developers
Be certain that the items you offer for purchase do not contain, or relate to, pornography, hate speech, defamation, or gambling (simulated gambling is acceptable).
But how come there are apps in the app store such as iBetMate, which, in fact, allows users to gamble? Is there a clause or something that I missed in Apple's rules?
I've noticed some games in the app store that allow the user to choose background music from their music library (iTunes). As a developer how can I add this functionality to my game?
Hi Everyone
I just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone here as my first ever iPhone app is now in the app store! I couldn't have done it without all the help from everyone here. It's called zigAroute if you want to check it out.
Thanks

I'm in need of some help, I need to store the information below into a database, what would the relational database structure be for this:
Then I need to create a dropdown for the insurance company followed by another dropdown depending on what the first dropdown selected value was, then once both selects have been chosen display the relevant telephone number.
I guess i need to query the database, then display the dropdowns using javascript(jquery) or Ajax?
I have a table with an 'expires' datetime column. I want to find all the items that have an 'expires' date earlier than now.
I've tried
session.query(Item).filter(Item.expires < now())
but it doesn't return anything regardless of the dates in the table.
I'm using PostgreSQL 8.4.
How do I do this comparison?
For example I want to store this in an ivar:
CGFloat color[4] = {red, green, blue, 1.0f};
so would I put this in my header?
CGFloat color[];
How would I assign values to that guy later? I mean I can't change it, right?
we are using hibernate in business layer,but the task is,
by using the jtable in swings to display the dynamic data(swings) from the database.
code:
Criteria criteria=session.createCriteria(User.class);
//here user.class is pojo class in hibernate.
List studentlist= criteria.list();
System.out.println("records"+studentlist);
here the data is showing in hibernate console, but how to represent that data in the format of "jtable".
Is it possible to get the name of a node using minidom?
for example i have a node:
<heading><![CDATA[5 year]]></heading>
what i'm trying to do is store the value heading so that i can use it as a key in a dictionary,
the closest i can get is something like
[<DOM Element: heading at 0x11e6d28>]
i'm sure i'm overlooking something very simple here, thanks!
I am developing an iOS app that is password protected and all the users are stored in a wordpress account that, of course, is password protected as well. Does anybody know the format that wordpress uses to store login information for these accounts, I would assume that it is a MySQL that sends a json? I have only been able to find the database code for the initial admin page but nothing that shows the way these accounts (815 to be exact) would be stored within the site.
Does anybody know what data structures are used to the store messages in an SMS client app, and whether there is an existing API for this.
I was perhaps looking at implementing a link list for the purpose but if the work has already been done in an API then perhaps it would be unnecessary to commit time to the task that could be spent programming other parts.
Many thanks

How do you test your app for Iñtërnâtiônàlizætiøn compliance? I tell people to store the Unicode string Iñtërnâtiônàlizætiøn into each field and then see if it is displayed correctly on output.
--- including output as a cell's content in Excel reports, in rtf format for docs, xml files, etc.
What other tests should be done?
I need to find out what variables and values are being POSTed to a script that I'm debugging. It's doing something strange to them, and it needs to start a session so I can't ouput them right at the beginning. I'm hoping to find a plug-in for Firefox that will show me what they are directly from the browser. Does anyone know of such a thing?
