    Im using libmysql for mysql in c++ and now i got a column, type= text, and i want the word(s) inside it. how to do this? when i use Blob (dont know what it is) it gives me e44158 :S. can somebody help me please?

    I'm using latex commands in my html code. When I validate the at w3c validator, it is giving me inavlid markup message. Line 105, Column 31: non SGML character number 12 \begin{equation}(x^{2})^{4+(frac{1}{5})}\end{equation} Is there a way to pass validation? Can I ignore this error?

    I am trying to set a custom paper size by doing: Printer.Height = 2160 Printer.Width = 11900 But it doesn't seen to have any effect. After setting this up, i ask for that values and it returns the default ones. And this: Printer.PaperSize = 256 Returns an error... Any ideas??

    I would like to be able to decide where a sub view is placed, when that view is controlled by its own view controller. This happens frequently on the iPad when you have a semi-complicated view that doesn't fill the entire screen. So, imagine that I want the sub view controller's nib to decide its own width, components, connections, etc, while the parent nib would decide where that view/nib would be placed. I'd really like to lay it out visually instead of programatically. How can I?

  • Why is my web page left-aligned on iPad?

    I recently built a site and centered it using margin: 0 auto. I also wrapped elements in a .wrapper class with a width set to 960px and then had the parent element extend across the whole browser. When I view the Brands screen on an iPad though, the site is left-aligned and does not extend across the whole window. Any thoughts to why this might be happening, and how to correct it?   • Table Naming Dilemma: Singular vs. Plural Names

    Convention has it that table names should be the singular of the entity that they store attributes of. I dislike any T-SQL that requires square brackets around names, but I have renamed a Users table to the singular, forever sentencing those using the table to sometimes have to use brackets. My gut feel is that it is more correct to stay with the singular, but my gut feel is also that brackets indicate undesirables like column names with spaces in them etc. Should I stay, or should I go?

    In Java I'm trying to test for a null value, from a ResultSet, where the column is being cast to a primitive int type. int iVal; ResultSet rs = magicallyAppearingStmt.executeQuery(query); if (rs.next()) { if (rs.getObject("ID_PARENT") != null && !rs.wasNull()) { iVal = rs.getInt("ID_PARENT"); } } From the code fragment above, is there a better way to do this, and I assume that the second wasNull() test is redundant? Example: If for the first record the id of customer is 9 and id of address is also 9 then i'd like to insert 9 into cid column of address table.
