    I have developed for SharePoint and in those cases it is clear how workflow can help (You have documents that needs approval and there are built in SharePoint workflows for this) But now I am doing standard ASP.NET web CRUD apps with WCF. I would like to find a way to get WF 4.0 invovled but I am not sure how to do it and never see any examples.... Can anyone give me some basic scenerios that I could use WF for?

    I'm writing a ASP.NET application to process user submitted zip files and limiting my extraction of files from it to only the extensions I want. I've heard of infected zip files attached to emails and I was wondering if I should be concerned about extracting data from infected zip files in my application. I don't plan on executing the content inside of the zip file, but will opening and extracting from an infected zip file cause the file to execute a virus even if I'm not executing any content inside of the zip file?

  • Should I make a ImageHelper in this situation?

    Hi I'm working with a project (asp.net mvc) where I need to show pictures on one site. They gone have jquery and be surrounded by a div like <div><img/></div> I'm relatively new on MVC so I'm not sure what ways are the best to work in it yet. Should I do a ImageHelper so i can access it like <% Html.ImageJquery() %> or should i just do it plain in the view what are your thoughts on this?

    I had a web reference set in my VS2008 ASP.NET project, but due to some source control weirdness it is no longer listed in the project. I have the set of files in the Web References folder under my project. There's a .wsdl, .disco and several .datasource files. Is there any way to re-add this web reference through the existing files rather than using the "Add Web Reference" dialog?

    I'm trying in an asp web application to code a function that would loop through a list of files in a multiple upload form and send them one by one. Is this something that can be done in ASP? Because I've read some posts about how to attach several files together, but saw nothing about looping through the files.     I am currently following along with http://www.asp.net/mvc/tutorials/mvc-4/getting-started-with-aspnet-mvc4/accessing-your-model's-data-from-a-controller to get a grasp of MVC 4. I am trying to add the MoviesController, but whenever I do I receive an error that says... "Unable to retrieve metadata for 'MvcMovie.Models.Movie' unrecognized configuration section entityFramework (C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\Temp\tmp4FFB.tmp line 76)" The last thing I did before this was change the Web.config file from the end of the previous page in the tutorial.
