  There are many topics like this, but none with concrete answers. I am drawing a tile-map in the traditional way (two for loops) and keeping my player centered except when the edges of the map is reached. How would I create collision detection? I need to know how to translate tile location in the array to screen coordinates I think.

• How can I make one child window draw over another within the same form?

  Let's say I have ten child windows within a form. How do I make sure one of those windows is drawn over all the others? For example, how do I make sure that window 6 always overdraws windows 1-5 and 7-10? I don't want the window to be drawn over everything else on the screen, just everything else within that form. I've already tried using HWND_TOPMOST and HWND_TOP (see http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2823700/how-can-i-make-a-child-window-topmost ) but it didn't work. :(

  On our website http://www.dimagi.com, the items in the jQuery menu near the top of the screen gain a background-color on hover. The hover background-color of the rightmost list item ("About Us") is cut off at the very right edge of the text, seemingly only in WebKit (tested Safari and Chrome in Windows XP). Can anybody see what I might be doing wrong in the CSS? Or is this some obscure WebKit bug?

  In my app I've implemented a shake event and it shows a UIImageView. When the UIImageView is shown, I hide the Nav Bar with: [self.navigationController setNavigationBarHidden:YES animated:NO]; And after that I want to bring it back when user touches the screen: - (void)touchesEnded:(NSSet *)touches withEvent:(UIEvent *)event { [[self navigationController] setNavigationBarHidden:NO animated:YES]; } But it doesn't work! • Specifying a callback in Matlab after any runtime error

  Is there a way to specify code to be run whenever an error occurs in Matlab? Googling I came across RunTimeErrorFcn and daqcallback, but I believe these are specific to the Data Acquisition Toolbox. I want something for when I just trip over a bug, like an access to an unassigned variable. (I use a library called PsychToolbox that takes over the GPU, so I want to be able to clear its screen before returning to the command prompt.)
