  • Sifr Horizontal Menu with LI

    Hello, I am designing a very simple horizontal menu with sIFR and CSS list. The thing about it is that it assigns a certain width to it that makes texts of different widths´ spacing look weird on screen. I´ve seen a default width and height of a certain amount, but what I need is to make it so that the flash is exactly the size of the text. Has anyone bumped into this issue before? Thanks!

  • Textview with an Imageview as background, inputted text is behind the keyboard

    Hi, I have here a view with an image and the text view (with finite frame size) . I've already implemented the textview keyboard notification but the problem is that when inputting in the textview it still behind the keyboard (the text is not visible).     I got a problem about UIScrollView. I am making a custom view which inherits UIView. The view has a UIScrollView on which there are lots of buttons which should scroll left and right. The UIScrollView and buttons can show normally. But I cannot scroll the buttons. Could someone give me some suggestions? Thanks a lot!     How can I get the filesize of a file in C when the filesize is greater than 4gb? ftell returns a 4 byte signed long, limiting it to two bytes. stat has a variable of type off_t which is also 4 bytes (not sure of sign), so at most it can tell me the size of a 4gb file. What if the file is larger than 4 gb?

    I used Mike Swanson's illustrator to xaml converter to convert some of my images to xaml. The convert creates a viewbox that contains the image. These viewboxes I made resource files in my program. The code below shows what I'm trying to do: I have a viewmodel that has an enum variable called PrimaryWinding of type Windings.     This may just be a mac issue, but I have a page with an element which is twice the size of the page and is moved into view dynamically. in my css I have overflow-x:hidden set so that this element won't create an ugly bottom scollbar, the problem is on my laptop (and probably on ipads and other devices) I can just swipe with two fingers to scroll and view this content. This breaks the whole layout and looks really bad, and I am looking for a way to completely disable this horizontal scrolling action with javascript or css. Thank you

I assume it needs some sort of e.at_xpath() to find the div.control-group parent and add the .error class to it but I'm not sure how to do this. Can anyone help? PS This may all be possible using the formtastic or simple_form gems but I'd rather just use my own html if possible. EDIT If I put e['class'] = 'foo' in the if e.node_name.eql? 'label' section then it applies the class to the label so I think I just need to find the parent tag of e and then apply an .error class to it but I can't figure out what the xpath would be to get from label to its div.control-group parent; no combination of dots, slashes or whatever seems to work but xpath isn't my strong point.

  • Dynamic sizing of SSRS Report....

    Hello....I have a report with 12 Tablixes on it. The user can pcik and choose which one of these Tables and their associated data shows when the Report is generated. However, when chosing a subset of the 12 tables, the report shows blank space where I hide the non-selected tablse. Is there any way to make the report resize/fit the size of the selected tables...truncating the white space where the invisible tables are? Thanks

  • mvc create my own html helper, how can i access httpcontext?

    Hi, I've come across two recommendations for creating custom html helpers: either extend an existing one, or write your own class. I'd prefer to keep my custom code separated, it seems a bit sloppy to extend helpers for a decent-size application. But the benefit I see in extending is that 'This HtmlHelper helper' is passed as a parameter, through which I can get ViewContext.HtmlContext. My question is, how can I roll my own helper class and still have ViewContext.HtmlContext available to me? Thanks!

    I need to implement searching for SD-cards in my program. Currently I'm using search for all removable devices like: searcher = New Management.ManagementObjectSearcher("\\localhost\root\cimv2", "SELECT DeviceId FROM Win32_LogicalDisk WHERE DriveType=2 AND Size>0"); But it find USB flash drives also. Is there a proper way to find SD-cards only? What I need is in general only drive letter for available SD-cards (like "F:" or so).
