    I am trying to pass some data from one page to another page by using jquery but it dose not working, below is the code which I want to click the text in source page and the destination page will hide the current text. I want this: for example. the member firstly visits google.com then goes to my website. I want to show him, that previously he visited a google.com website. How can I do it if it's possible?

    I'm creating a Windows Phone 7 app and learning Silverlight in the process. I have a youtube video url and I'd like the user to be able to click a video thumbnail in my list and go to a youtube app to view the video (similar to iPhone). Is this possible? If so, can you share some code to send the user to the video? I already have a MouseLeftButtonUp event handler.

  • Camping: Return user to recent entries, but keep errors

    Users can view a specific entry in my webapp with a URL. /entry/8, for example. If an entry doesn't exist, "Entry not found" gets appended to @messages and I render an error page. I'd like to redirect the user to /recent, but I can't figure out a good way to keep the error message around to be displayed. There are other actions that need to take place in the Recent controller, so I can't just duplicate the query and render :posts.

    One of the sites i visit has an annoying habit of naming all their files showimage.php. When i save the image or file it saves as a .php so i cannot open the file. The worse part is, there is a &ext=zip&more=blah in the url. Is it possible to use greasemonkey to rename the file ext so it isnt php? (maybe injecting a content disposition header?)
