    Hi All, I am wondering is there any way we can test the font size/color of a webpage in IE6+. I think it is not possible by checking the css class, as some other style may overwrite the styles of the class which has been assinged to that text. Actually I want to know the browser assigned font-size to the text of the page, as we can do it in firebug on firefox. Any help would be appreciated.

    Any clues why my programmatically defined UIScrollView (using the application frame) always leaves an empty space at the top (below the navigationBar) of 20 pixels. How can I close that? UIScrollView *vScrollView = [[UIScrollView alloc] initWithFrame:[[UIScreen mainScreen] applicationFrame]]; vScrollView.backgroundColor = [UIColor redColor]; How do I need to call the application frame size to avoid that gap?

  • Responsive width for iPhone

    This is my first time building a responsive site, and as I tailor the CSS for the iPhone I'm running into a problem. The styles all apply correctly, the text changes size and the wrapper changes widths. The problem is the iPhone browser still opens up at a huge width, see the screenshot: I'm using @media all and (max-device-width: 480px) {} to set the specific iPhone css. body {width:;} doesn't work.     In ASP.NET I frequently use Response.Redirect to redirect the end user to another page on my system. I always set the second parameter to true to immediately end the response. For the life of me, I can't think of a reason why anybody would ever set that parameter to true. What's the point of continuing generating a page when the end user's browser is just going to be redirected to a different page immediately?

  • send socket c ctrl+c behavior

    I'm witting an application based on a server and various client but I'm having a problem with the send command. Whenever I do ctrl+c on the client side the send operation kills the thread which is in and the process running (in order to have multiple clients I set a thread to which one). If the client ends (doing the close socket) properly the server doesn't die, but when I use the ctrl+c combination on the client both exit. What can I do to prevent send commando to have this behavior? Thx in advance

  • Httpclient not returning entire response

    Using HttpClient 4.0, Im having an issue where the response I get from the ResponseHandler is only about half of what the actual page content should be (~61k bytes in the string vs ~125k in the page returned to a browser). I cant seem to find any place where there might be some sort of limit that would limit this. Any ideas?
