    I'm having some trouble with XSL-processing when there are stylesheets that include other stylesheets relatively. (the XML-files may be irrelevant but are included for completeness - code is at the bottom).   • UITableViewCell indentation not in edit mode.

    When you enter editing mode on a grouped-style UITableView, the cells indent to show the editing control (if you aren't sure what I mean, see this picture (editing mode) http://i.imgur.com/GJXvL.png and this (non-editing mode) http://i.imgur.com/ahKYS.png). I am trying to manually indent a cell when the tableView is not in editing mode. I tried the indentationLevel property, but that just moves the text further to the right inside the cell and doesn't actually change the cell. Any ideas?

  • Python 2.6 -> Python 3 (ProxyHandler)

    Hallo, I wrote a script that works with a proxy (py2.6x): proxy_support = urllib2.ProxyHandler({'http' : 'http://127.0.0.1:80'}) But in py3.11x there is no urllib2 just a urllib... and that doesnt support the ProxyHandler How can I use a proxy with urllib? Isnt Python 3 newer then Python 2? Why did they remove urllib2 in a newer version?

    I am running a Apache Server . I have a simple screen capture set up using Html2canvas .The capture function is rendering a blank Image . I have tried numerous ways to configure the javascript using related articles from this site to no Avail .   • Servlet IOException when streaming a Byte Array

    I occasionally get an IOException from a Servlet I have that writes a byte array to the outputstream in order to provide a file download capability. This download servlet has a reasonable amount of traffic (100k hits a month) and this exception occurs rarely, around 1-2 times a month. I have tried recreating the exception by using the exact same Base64 String and no exception is raised and the Servlet behaves as designed. Is this IO Exception being caused by something outside my applications control? For example a network issue or the user resetting the connection? I have tried to google the cause of an IOException at this point in the stack but to no avail. The environment is running Tomcat 5.5 on CentOS 5.3 with an Apache HTTP Server acting as a proxy using proxy_ajp.   • ASP.NET site sometimes freezing up and/or showing odd text at top of the page while loading, on load

    I have various servers (dev, 2 x test, 2 x prod) running the same asp.net site. The test and prod servers are in load-balanced pairs (prod1 with prod2, and test1 with test2). The test server pair is exhibiting some kind of (super) slowdown or freezing during about one in ten page loads. Sometimes a line of text appears at the very top of the page which looks something like: 00 OK Date: Thu, 01 Apr 2010 01:50:09 GMT Server: Microsoft-IIS/6.0 X-Powered_By: ASP.NET X-AspNet-Version:2.0.50727 Cache-Control:private Content-Type:text/html; charset=ut (the beginning and end are "cut off".) Has anyone seen anything like this before? Any idea what it means or what's causing it? Edit: I often see this too when clicking something - it comes up as red text on a yellow page: XML Parsing Error: not well-formed Location: http://203.111.46.211/3DSS/CompanyCompliance.aspx?cid=14 Line Number 1, Column 24:2mMTehON9OUNKySVaJ3ROpN" / -----------------------^ If I go back and click again, it works (I see the page I clicked on, not the above error message). Reversing the above (see the link) didn't work at first either. The ASP.NET tab disappeared from our IIS web site properties and we had to mess around for an hour uninstalling (aspnet_regiis.exe -u) and reinstalling 32 bit ASP.NET and adding Default.aspx manually back into default documents. We'll probably try again in a few days, if anyone has anything to add in the meantime, please do.

    I would like to implement an Client-Server Application, where the business-logic, security validations and a database are at the server and the user interface are at the client. I would like to implement clients in different languages i.e. one in WPF/.NET, one Swing/Java , one in Android/Java and maybe one HTML/JavaScript client. The server will be on Internet, so I would like to be able to have encrypted communication. The client will send some lists of items to be added to the database, or update items, and do some transactions. The server will check if the items are already updated by another client, or update the item, add new items or delete items. How do I solve the communication between clients and the server in such a system? I have been thinking about: http/https webserver, and sending messages in JSON or XML and use Web Sockets for bi-directional communication. Use http in a RESTful way, except when WebSockets are needed. But I guess there are better solutions for native desktop applications than http? CORBA - I have just heard about it, and it's old and complex. Not much talk about it these days. XMPP/Jabber - I have just heard about it and I don't know if it fits me at all. EJabberd seams to be a popular implementation. AMQP - I have just heard about it and I don't know if it fits me at all. RabbitMQ seams to be a popular implementation. Windows Communication Foundation, Java RMI, Java Message Service - but are they language independent? I guess some of these alternatives are on different levels, maybe I can have i.e xmpp or amqp in web sockets over https? What technologys are used for this problem in companies today? and what is recommended to use? I have no experience of them other than webservers and http. Please give me some guidance in this jungle. What are the pros and cons of these technologies in my situation?

    I have LI that I want to fade out and back in. Within the list item I have some text. This text is positioned absolutely within the LI. The catch is that in IE8 (IE6 and 7 seem fine) I can get everything to fade except the text: http://jsbin.com/esamu/13 If I remove the absolute positioning on the text element (in this case, a P), IE8 then can fade the text properly: http://jsbin.com/esamu/14 Anyone know why this is?     I wanted to use FormsAuthentication to secure my static files as well on my site, so I followed the instructions located here http://learn.iis.net/page.aspx/244/how-to-take-advantage-of-the-iis7-integrated-pipeline/ under title "Enabling Forms Authentication for the Entire Application". Now though, when I try to visit the site by going directly to http://www.mysite.com I get redirected to http://www.mysite.com/Login.aspx?ReturnUrl=%2f instead of it using my DefaultDocument I have set. I can go to my default document by just visiting http://www.mysite.com/Home.aspx without any issues because it is set to allow anonymous access. Is there something I need to add into my web.config file to make iis7 allow anonymous access to the root? I tried adding with anonymous access but no such luck. Any help would be much appreciated. Smooks documentation is very proud of the possibilities of transformations, but unfortunately I don't want to do those. The only way I've figured how to do this is to repeat the whole structure in freemarker. But that feels like repeating the structure unnecessarily. The header has like 30 different tags so there would be lots of work involved also. EDIT: The solution has to use Smooks. We use it in an application as a generic splitter and just create different smooks configuration files for different types of input files.
