    I've looked at Amazon S3 and it costs roughly $4746 per month for 100 megabits/s (which translates into 31,640 Gigabytes of data transferred. That's at a rate of $0.15 per gig.) I haven't found a cheaper "cloud" option. I'm curious if there's any other cloud hosting option out there cheaper than S3. Uptime is not an issue because I can build failover for most things into the browser. e.g. I can use javascript to say "if the image didn't load then go to this other URL instead." FYI I'm currently using a colocation facility which is about 30% cheaper than S3 and I'm familiar with colo prices - so this question is really about "cloud" services and by that I mean services where I don't have to worry about the infrastructure.

The comments are stored in a different table from the stories. The code above does not return any values and doesn't show any errors. Could someone please help?

  • slideDown() Makes Everything in Wrapper Shift

    Hello everyone, I am currently creating a simple menu where there are several names of services and a user can click on one and jQuery will show it's corresponding paragraph describing it below it. My jQuery code is fine and does exactly what I want, however, I have one bug I have yet to iron out. Whenever I click one of these headings and it's description displays, everything in the wrapper for the page shifts to the left about 7 pixels in Firefox, it does the same thing is Google Chrome however I have not measured the amout but I am sure it is irrelevant. Anyways, I am using the slideToggle() command to show the hidden parragraph. I assume this is occuring because when the slideDown occurs it is somehow changing the width of everything and the "margin: 0 auto;" setting for the wrapper rule in my css is compensating for this change. Does anyone have any way I can remedy this problem? I have tried several other fixes I've found around the internet but to no avail.   • In Sinatra, best way to serve iPhone layout vs. normal layout?

    I'm writing a Sinatra app which needs to render different layouts based on whether the user is using an iPhone or a regular browser. I can detect the browser type using Rack-Mobile-Detect but I'm not sure of the best way to tell Sinatra which layout to use. Also, I have a feeling that how I choose to do this may also break page caching. Is that true?     I usually use the "Publish" feature in VS 2008 to get the correct files and so on that I can publish to my website. But from time to time publish fails without any good error message at all. I know that it can be a couple of different reasons but I am starting to grow really tired with this now. Can anyone teach me how to build the website from the command line? As I said it is a MVC project. Can I use the aspnet_compiler for this? What parameters should I use to simulate the same behavior as a "Publish"?

    I am worried about my account expiry date. I created an account on AWS in July 2013 and submitted my credit card details on 31st Oct 2013. I went in Billing Management Console/Bills section where when I click on Date, I can see months ranging from July 2013 to Nov 2013. From AWS FAQs I gathered When does the AWS free usage tier expire? The AWS free usage tier will expire 12 months from the date you sign up. So WHEN will my account expire, July 2014 (sign up date) or Oct 2014 (credit card details submission date) ?

I've thought about the options and want to stay as SEO minded as i can but i'm struggling to think of a way i could strike a balance between having a really smart, anti-aliased looking heading at the top of their site under the logo but have it searchable/crawlable by the big G (google). If i am out of local network then i can connect to mojpacient.si Does anyone have any idea how is this possible and what is wrong. I suspect IIS7 but do not know what in IIS7.
