  • How do I make a UIBarButtonItem 'glow'?

    In the Maps app, when you press the tracking button in the lower left hand corner, it glows showing that it's pressed. This makes it behave like a radio button, and it will un-glow once you move the map. Is there a simple way to but a button into the pressed state?

  • iOS6 Simulator MKMapKit "Couldn't find default.styleproto in framework"

    Running my app with the iOS6 simulator I am getting the following printed in the XCode console prior to viewDidLoad getting called: Couldn't find default.styleproto in framework Has anyone else encountered this, and if so have you found a reason why? My guess is that it has to do with the iOS6 Apple Maps, but who knows! EDIT I should add that I don't get this warning in the iOS 5.1 simulator.

  • why search field in not displayed at the Iphone MKMapView?

    Hi, In My application i am using MKMapview to display the googleMap,but it is not displaying the search field in the Map. I have downloaded the Maps application from the Appstore in my real device and which is disaplying the seach field in the map. can any body have any solution for displaying the search field in the Existing Map, as i want to search the text into the search field and want to display its content to the Map?     Hi, I'm trying to write my own abstraction over the MessageBoxImage enumeration, and see that MessageBoxImage is defined as: namespace System.Windows { public enum MessageBoxImage { None = 0, Error = 16, Hand = 16, Stop = 16, Question = 32, Exclamation = 48, Warning = 48, Asterisk = 64, Information = 64, } } How does the Show method determine whether to display an Error image or a Hand image? How would I write a method which takes a MessageBoxImage type, and return a CustomMessageBoxImage type which maps to the MessageBoxImage type, as I can't include both MessageBoxImage.Error and MessageBoxImage.Hand in the same switch statement?

    So I'm trying to display an image that is ouside the path of my application. I only have a relative image path such as "images/background.png" but my images are somewhere else, I might want to choose that base location at runtime so that the binding maps to the proper folder. Such as "e:\data\images\background.png" or "e:\data\theme\images\background.png" <Image Source="{Binding Path=ImagePathWithRelativePath}"/> Is there any way to specify either in XAML or code behind a base directory for those images?

Ideally it would meet these requirements: Displays a 3D object in the center of the screen like a cube Maps a texture to the cube surfaces Should move the camera around the cube as you drag your finger Should zoom the camera in and out on the cube by pinching Optionally has a background behind the cube that wraps around the back of the camera.(for example this could create the effect of the cube being in space) Has anyone seen one or more examples that can do these or at least render the cube with the texture?

    I am trying to use marker.setIcon() to change a markers image. However it appears that although this changes the marker.iconUrl attribute the icon itself is using marker.proprietary_marker.$.icon.image to display the markers image - so the markers icon remains unchanged. Is there a way to dynamically change the marker.proprietary_marker.$.icon.image? Add a marker. Check the icon's image url and the proprietary icon's image - they're the same. Change the icon. Again check the Urls. I have a table (lets call it Entity) with columns -- ID expression type ( can be 'long_word', 'short_word' or 'sentence' ) Often, the first two types occur in a 'sentence', so, I want to maintain another table which maps 'Sentences' to 'long_word' or 'short_word' using the 'ID' field. All i need is another table with 2 'Integer fields' referring to 'ID' as a foreign key. But, how do i do this in Elixir? Thanks a lot...
