    In the context of functional programming which is the correct term to use: persistent or immutable? When I Google "immutable data structures" I get a Wikipedia link to an article on "Persistent data structure" which even goes on to say: such data structures are effectively immutable Which further confuses things for me. Do functional programs rely on persistent data structures or immutable data structures? Or are they always the same thing?

Just from the description you can understand that I'm running into graphic artifacts on explorers.     I need to make a SOAP webservice call to https://sandbox.mediamind.com/Eyeblaster.MediaMind.API/V2/AuthenticationService.svc?wsdl and to use the operation ClientLogin while passing through the parameters: ApplicationKey, Password, and UserName. The response is UserSecurityToken. They are all strings.   • Can we find out the difference between 2 RGb colors to find out a 3rd color?

    2 colors are mixed together. If i have the RGB for the resultant color and RGB for one of the colors mixed, then somehow i could calculate the 2nd color? I will try to explain visually what i am trying to say.     Hi, In my Carbon application upon display of Preference Panes, I have a link which when clicked opens up Apple Help Viewer. The problem I am facing is the Help Viewer Window is behind my preference pane window. I would like to keep the Help Viewer window on top of the Preference Pane. Is there any way to get the WindowRef of the Help Viewer app so that I can use SendBehind API to send the help viewer behind the current window. Thanks a lot Regards, Marc

The overriden method is called although the instance type of the base class is used and not the instance of the derived type. Now I am confused because a former question of mine Type parameter declaration must be identifier not a type is about calling the overriding generic method with the instance of base type which did NOT work!
