  • Reopen error in bdb 4.7 memory

    I create a memory pool with flag(DB_CREATE) after ope a Db_Env with flag(DB_CREATE | DB_INIT_MPOOL |DB_SYSTEM_MEM), when I run their program at first time, it's ok and create some db files such _db.001,_db.002,mpool, but after I close the program and run it again,their make a error said the system cannot find the specified file("Mpool: PANIC:No such file or directory"), if I delete all files in the memory pool folder and run it again it will be ok? How can I fix this problem?

  • Rails - Clearance engine - installation issue

    Hey Everyone, The installation for clearance seems very straight forward (http://wiki.github.com/thoughtbot/clearance/installation). I'm following in the instructions, although I'm getting an error almost immediately. On the the fifth step "rake db:migrate" I get the following error: rake aborted! undefined method `configure' for Clearance:Module I have no idea what I should be doing differently? The question is theoretical or conceptual: Is there any way to tell an entity manager to load an entity from the DB rather than from it's cache? The problematic scenario: EM1.persist(Entity1) EM2.merge(Entity1) EM1.find(Entity1) <--- Entity1 is the cached version rather than the merged one.. Any elegant way to do it? I really don't want to call em.refresh(entity).

    I have a MySQL database with a field Name which contains full names. To select all people with last names ending in a particular letter, let's say A for this example, I use the following query: SELECT * FROM db WHERE Name LIKE '% A%'. However, this also selects users who have a middle name starting with A. Is there anyway to alter this query so that only a last name ending in A will be selected?

  • ExecuteNonQuery on a stored proc causes it to be deleted

    This is a strange one. I have a Dev SQL Server which has the stored proc on it, and the same stored proc when used with the same code on the UAT DB causes it to delete itself! But I can't create the factory pointer using D2D1CreateFactory API. It's always returns NULL. Even the samples downloaded from MSDN is also not working well. There are some changes from Beta - RC Is this because of the version mismatch of SDK?

So %ProgramFiles%\Internet Explorer\hmmapi.dll becomes C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\hmmapi.dll I like to know if there is an API call that can do this, or do I have to do this the hard way and detect %..% sequences and replace them with the appropriate environment variable?

    There might have been a restriction on originating (making) calls (voice or data) from mobile phones without an explicit user permission i.e. a window would pop-up, asking the user to press 'Yes'/approve or 'No'/cancel for a call attempt made by a software application on that cellphone/mobile. There seems though to exist API for making calls, voice calls and data calls, on various embedded OS like WM, Symbian and Android. Do they require a user button-press then?

I'd rather have a lazy sequence of bytes, but I can't find the right API in F#.
