  • How do i select the 1st and then every 4th row in a html-table with nth-child()-selector?

    Ok, math isn't my strong side, I admit it. All I want to do is to select the first, 5th, 9th, 13th, 17th etc row in a html-table. Can anybody with better math-skills point me in the right directionor perhaps supply a "nth-child-for-dummies" guide? I tried nth-child(1n+4) (which selects the 4th row and everyone after), and i also tried nth-child(0n+4) which selects the fourth row and nothing after that. Thanks in advance.

  • mvc create my own html helper, how can i access httpcontext?

    Hi, I've come across two recommendations for creating custom html helpers: either extend an existing one, or write your own class. I'd prefer to keep my custom code separated, it seems a bit sloppy to extend helpers for a decent-size application. But the benefit I see in extending is that 'This HtmlHelper helper' is passed as a parameter, through which I can get ViewContext.HtmlContext. My question is, how can I roll my own helper class and still have ViewContext.HtmlContext available to me? Thanks!

    I need to strip out all font tags from a document. When attempting to do so with the following Ruby code, other elements and text within the font tags are lost. I've also attempted to iterate through all children elements and make them siblings of the font tag before unlinking the font tag--which also results in lost HTML. Each different type of widget implements functionality to get and prepare any data it needs to render. Can anyone suggest any patterns I could refer to for approaches to take? What steps do I need to take to make IntelliJ recognize the wicket tags? I'm using IntelliJ Ultimate 9 with the wicketforge plugin.

    Say I had a file like... http://my.website.com/myfile.raw and this file was just raw bytes, representing an intensity image. Is it possible to grab this data and read the bytes in JavaScript? And then using it with HTML 5 canvas (e.g., putImageData) to draw an image? Or is there some other way to do this in the browser without Java or Flash?
