Hello!
I am wondering how does SVG work in IE with Google Docs Drawings?
Is it flash?
Could you please point me to the library they use to add SVG support to IE?
Thanks!
Hi Guys,
I'm trying to figure out the best C++ library/package for array manipulations in a manner of python. Basically I need a simplicity like this:
values = numpy.array(inp.data)
idx1 = numpy.where(values > -2.14)
idx2 = numpy.where(values < 2.0)
res1 = (values[idx1] - diff1)/1000
res1 = (values[idx2] - diff2)*1000
In python it's just 5 lines, but the simplest way in C++ i can think of is quite a number of nested loops. Pls advise..
In C++ is there a predefined library function that will return the size of RAM currently available on a computer a program is being run on, at run-time?
For instance, if an object is 4bytes, then can we divide the available virtual memory by 4 bytes to give an estimate of how many more objects could be stored by the program safely?
I have used the sizeof() function to return the size of objects within my program.
Thanks
hi,
i'm using the mshtml library for parsing out html via MSHTML.HTMLDocument.
my question: is there a way to assign a javascript function to a dom element?
i've tried something like:
div.onmouseover = "function(){alert('mouseover')}"
and
div.setattribute "onmouseover" , "function(){alert('mouseover')}"
without success (no error but no effect either).
anyone knows if its possible?
thx
I want to resize a image with DPI 300 or greater..
I want it's DPI to remain intact...
I have used GD library function to resize image cropped but it brings down DPI to 90!!!!!!
please give a solution as my requirement involves no downsizing of DPI
Not completely a programming question, but its close enough so here goes:
In Mac OS I'll put user-specific files for my app in ~/Library/Application Data/{MyApp}/ and in *nix I'll put them in ~/.{MyApp}/ - where should I put them for Windows?
I'll be using Ruby's File.expand_path to get to this directory, so if there's a windows equivalent of ~ then that's fine.
(Answers for Windows XP, Vista and 7 would be appreciated if they're not the same)
Hello,
in my python project I call a c++ dll using ctypes library.
That c++ dll consists on a wrapper dll that calls methods of a c# com interop dll.
Sometimes I have a COM exception. I like to see what it corresponds exactlly but I don't know how to do it?
How can I attach the c++ debugger to this situation?
Thanks in advance
I come from a Java background and have been using C# for the last year - So far the API docs I use are at MSDN (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms132397.aspx). I tend to use the lightweight C# docs.
What annoys me about that is that I don't see one page with details of the class, a list of members, a list of methods and properties like I would with a Java API definition.
Is this possible?
Is there a library or good tutorial which covers creating in-app settings, like this:
http://img.skitch.com/20090625-s8bf6ahybwe3cesd1id38h3nt.jpg
What I would like is if it:
doesn't use the built-in Settings app
is controlled by a plist file with various Dictionaries and Arrays
creates a nice looking table view
allows text fields as well as switches and sliders and ticks etc
doesn't have any of the annoying problems I've come across when trying to build my own version (not scrolling to show the textfield, cells disappearing)
It would appear that the iphone dev world is crying out for such a thing.
THANK YOU!
Hi everyone,
I have a UITableView with a sectionIndexTitles, and when I do a rotation, some cells are displayed like if I were on the previous orientation. When I don't have sectionIndexTitles, there is no problem. Is it just a bug in a library, or is there a secret tip I don't know to fix it ?
Tank you
I've had a big problem in some library code, which I've pinned down to a single statement:
System.out.println((String) null);
Ok, the code doesn't actually look like that, but it certainly calls println with a null argument. Doing this causes my whole applicaio to throw an unexpected NullPointerException.
In general, should println throw this exception under that circumstance, or is this non-standard behavior due to a poor implementation of the out instance?
I would like to add Infragistics dlls as custom prerequisite when publishing my project.
I've read about that:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa730839%28VS.80%29.aspx
But this seems to be a bit complicated...
I wonder if exists a bit simple way to archive that (eg by passing URL to setup.exe or such) ?
EDIT
This Might be also interesting: http://www.codeproject.com/KB/aspnet/Add_Custom_Prerequisite.aspx?msg=2520811 will check and let you know...
So I know you can get a CGImage from a file using UIImage...
UIImage *img = [UIImage imageNamed:@"name.bmp"];
[img CGImage];
But, is there a way to get a CGImageRef without using a UIImage?
(I am trying this in a static library which doesn't have access to UIKit
i have known that winpcap library enabled a person to obtain advanced information about installed devices...
given all the networking devices found in the computer, how will i know which one of this has an internet connection?!
thanks:)
I installed Boost via sudo apt-get install libboost-all-dev on the most recent version of Ubuntu. Now I want to compile a project that uses the Boost.Serialization library, which needs to be linked.
I've tried many variants of the following, without success:
gcc -I /usr/lib code.cpp -o compiled /usr/lib/libboost_serialization.a
and
gcc -I /usr/lib code.cpp -o compiled -l libboost_serialization
The error message is:
error: ‘split_member’ is not a member of ‘boost::serialization
`
What am I missing?
Often, it is more efficient to use a sorted std::vector instead of a std::set. Does anyone know a library class sorted_vector, which basically has a similar interface to std::set, but inserts elements into the sorted vector (so that there are no duplicates), uses binary search to find elements, etc.?
I know it's not hard to write, but probably better not to waste time and use an existing implementation anyway.
Hello guys!
How can I change the place of the .sqlite file in my directory structure. Now it is in the Documents, but I want it to be in the Library/Preferences. Can you help me please?
I'm trying to use the OpenCA library in a C++ application. However, when including the file pki_x509_data_st.h the following code fragment is encountered:
typedef struct pki_x509_callbacks_st {
/* ---------------- Memory Management -------------------- */
void * (*new) (void );
void (*free) (void *x );
void * (*dup) (void *x );
This won't compile because of the "new" pointer declaration.
How can I make it work?
I need to compute imaginary exponential in C.
As far as I know, there is no complex number library in C. It is possible to get e^x with exp(x) of math.h, but how can I compute the value of e^(-j), where j = sqrt(-1)?
Hello all,
It seems that every project has an "util" module with various code snippets used throughout other files and which don't fit any particular pattern. I want to improve my "util" library, so please post here the most useful class / function / macro that you use in all your C/C++ projects. Please keep the entries small (under 100 lines) and give only one example per post.
Thank you.
Does anyone know of an existing Java component that implements a TokenField, similar to Cocoa's NSTokenField?
An overview of the Cocoa control is at:
http://developer.apple.com/mac/library/documentation/Cocoa/Conceptual/TokenField%5FGuide/Introduction/Introduction.html
Suggestions for implementation?
Thanks!
