  I know that this is a subjective question... Typemock is $799 per developer. Licences for 5 devs comes up to a pretty large sum. If someone here used Typemock and given that there are open source mocking frameworks, is it worth the money? Why?

The thing I dislike the most is the inability to use the old-school MDI windows instead of the dreaded tabbed documents. For the other side the usage generator seems like it may prove useful in time.   In Visual Studio 2010 we have MSBuild for C++ project. Also we can add additional custom properties files "*.props" to projects, which are just MSBuild scripts. Is it possible in imported "some.props" file know its directory? for example there is "project.vcxproj" file and "common.props" file. I would like to write something: <IncludeDir>$( [and something for common.props file directory here] )\include</IncludeDir> What should I write there?

• Need to display my code in stack trace. I see only System... lines.

  Sometimes when I get an Exception while debugging in Visual Studio, all the code lines in the stack trace belong to the System.. name space. It doesn't display my line of code which was responsible for the exception. Is there a way to be make the stack trace show more lines or to ignore stack trace from the system namespace? Something like Just-My-Code for stack trace?

  Hi, I have developed some ASP.NET controls in .NET 2.0 with VS 2008. Now, I upgraded my project to VS 2010 but did not change the target framework to .NET 4.0 yet. But, surprisingly, I found that, the toolbox is not showing the bitmaps for the control added to the toolbox in VS 2010. Moreover, when I dragged and dropped a control (.NET 2.0) from the toolbox to my Web Form, I see some junk xml code added to my web form. I dont know if I need to recompile the .NET 2.0 controls with VS 2010 ? or what should I do in order to make the controls compatible for both in VS 2008 and VS 2010 ? I found that, there is no problem with Windows Forms control, rather it is just with ASP.NET Controls.

• Visual Studio swapping code between projects?!?!?!?!??!

  Are there any known issues with visual studio and code being swapped between projects? I had a project running in VS2008 and when i went back to it, the code from another project had been swapped in the Program.cs class. I havent made any mistakes, im not talking about some code- i mean the whole project had been swapped out. Its as if the .proj files or .soln files had been swapped from their project folders??? EDIT Ive restarted laptop, opened the code again and its still showing the wrong code BUT when i execute it, its the right code?!?!?!
