    I have a Google Drive spreadsheet with a single column that holds string values (Twitter screen names) such as "user1", "user1", "UserX", and I would like to count those values so that I can easily craft a bar chart out of it. So the result should be value occurrence ----------------------- user1 2 UserX 1 ... .... Please note, I only want to look for whole words, and not part words. EG, the words 'on' and 'one' appears in the word 'money' - I would not count this (eg, only the word money is counted). Hope that is clear enough. What formula should I use?

I need to store the entered sign up credentials in any database(Oracle, Service based database, local database).     I try to start an Google appengine application in my eclipse. I have the Google plugin and I set the sdk for my application. But, when I start this one, I get the following error: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: org.datanucleus.store.appengine.jpa.DatastorePersistenceProvider However, this class is present in the sdk which is present in my classpath. Why Appengine doesn't find this class ? Thanks.

I want to have a column (should be the first column) which simply shows the display row number (i.e. it is not tied to any data (or sorting) but is simply the row number on the screen starting at 1).     To get the seed and step values of an identity column in sql server i can use this syntax SELECT ColumnName = name, Seed = seed_value, Step = increment_value FROM sys.identity_columns So far in MySql i have found that if i use this syntax SELECT * FROM INFORMATION_SCHEMA.TABLES WHERE auto_increment IS NOT NULL I can at least find out which columns are an identity... The question being how can i get the SEED and STEP values of the identity column from the MySQL Schema.

    It is often said that using LDAP is a good way to store data about users. That's beacause users' "directory" is hierarchical and it changes rarely. But in my opinion that doesn't exclude using RDBMS. What might be reasons to use LDAP? I guess that storing multi-valued fields or adding custom fields in LDAP might be easier but it can be done in database too (unless you have many records)

    I want to change the format of the "Date"-Column in the messagelist in Thunderbird. For mails from today, I want to display only the time, not the date. For mails from before today, I want to display only the date, not the time. This is btw the same setup mutt uses. I know of the this wiki article, which describes how to change the dateformat, but you can only switch between 5 predefined formats, and non of them is "Date only". I also know of this Extension, but it got the same limitations, you can't define a new date format. Thanks!
