  • Problem with a call button - doesn't open tel:// URL

    I am trying to make a call button that will call 18 which is Fire Dept in France. So my code is : [[UIApplication sharedApplication] openURL:[NSURL URLWithString:@"tel://18"]]; It doesn't work and I get this message in the console : < warning Ignoring unsafe request to open URL tel://18 But I saw other application that have the same button fully working ! I am trying this on the device of course. What am I missing ?

The problem is that inside the NSString response I got some UTF8 encoded character (accent) that I need do decode to make the app works. How can I decode UTF8 with JSON?     I want to archive all .ctl files in a folder, recursively. tar -cf ctlfiles.tar `find /home/db -name "*.ctl" -print` The error message : tar: Removing leading `/' from member names tar: /home/db/dunn/j: Cannot stat: No such file or directory tar: 74.ctl: Cannot stat: No such file or directory I have these files: /home/db/dunn/j 74.ctl and j 75. Notice the extra space. What if the files have other special characters? How do I archive these files recursively?

    Displaying "Type here to ..." until the user enters text into a TextBox is a well-known usability feature nowadays. How would one implement this feature in C#? My idea is to override OnTextChanged, but the logic to handle the changes of Text from and to "Type here" is a bit tricky... Displaying "Type here" on initialization and removing it on first input is easy, but I want to display the message every time the entered text becomes empty.

    I have an asp.net website that allows the user to download largish files - 30mb to about 60mb. Sometimes the download works fine but often it fails at some varying point before the download finishes with the message saying that the connection with the server was reset. Originally I was simply using Server.TransmitFile but after reading up a bit I am now using the code posted below.   • Ctrl+R, Ctrl+R command not working

    I'm attempting to use the Ctrl+R, Ctrl+R command within Visual Studio 2008 to rename a variable. I get an error message at the bottom saying that "The key combination (Ctrl+R, Ctrl+R) is bound to command (&Rename...) which is not currently available." I am not running it or anything I can think of which might prohibit modifications of the file and the F2 command allows a rename to happen. Anyone know how to fix this?

    In a jboss service I need to mock some inner class (not EJB) with JMockit. Just for tests I've created inner class ToBeMocked and another one Mock. While deploying to jboss I get error NoClassDefFoundError in line: Mockit.setUpMock(ToBeMocked.class, new Mock()); with message: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: mockit/Mockit jmockit.jar is added to the classpath in jboss_service.xml. Any ideas?

    Hi, I am currently running JDK 6 on Windows 7 and have installed the Unlimited Strength Policy Files. I wrote a Java app some time ago which used to work but now fails, giving an error message indicating that the SHA1PRNG SecureRandom is not available. I have tried printing a list of cryptographic providers available on the platform and it would appear that there are no secure random number generators available - does anyone have any idea why this might be?   • MVC Partial View Postback - Jquery validation lost

    I have a partial view which uses Jquery Valiation. This works OK when initially loaded, however after I do a ajax postback and return the partial view from the server with an error showing, the jquery validation seems to be lost. In that, if I delete a required field and hit save the partial view gets submitted, when I would expect it to show an error message and not get submitted. Does Jquery validation need to be initialised somehow for the form in the partial view?

    I get the following message when trying to execute etherpad/bin/run-local.sh: Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: net/appjet/oui/main I created CLASSPATH variable, export CLASSPATH="/home/user/src/etherpad/trunk/infrastructure/build" but that didn't help either. Although I can clearly see net/appjet/oui package in the build directory.
