• How do I extract a list of Windows services and their status to a text file?

  I would like to get a text dump of the screen you see when running services.msc (except the Description column). This is so I can run a diff after installing different software that adds services to this screen. Is this possible? If it's helpful I have access to Powershell but don't know how to retrieve this type of information from it.

• apt-get install not working in script

  I create a small script that installs a set of linux paquets . Strangely apt-get install always fails and tells me that the package have not been found. • Photocopying using a separate scanner and printer

  I have 2 printers. HP Deskjet F2235 - designated scanner (has printing issues) Brother HL-2040 - designated printer (doesn't have a scanner) Just by using those two both connected to the same computer, is there a way to perform a photocopy operation by scanning via the designated scanner then immediately it being printed from the designated printer? Obviously you could save the scanned files then print them, but short of making a script or manually doing this, is there a faster automatic way through settings or third-party software?

  I read somewhere that the ultimate boot cd can diagnos computer problems in this case would this program help me get my windows xp back? When I turn on the screen and hit start windows normal or go to safe mode I get a flash of the win xp logo and then it goes to this error page. Can you tell from this message is it a hardware or software issue?

• Convert Chinese character .wav song into .mp3 or .wma on English OS

  I have bunch of Chinese .wav files on my hard disk that I'm trying to convert into .mp3 with Audacity but it appear that Audacity can not read Chinese character songs but the .wav file display correctly on my 32 bits Win7 Ultimate(English) pc. I have to rename these Chinese character songs into English file name in order to convert them. Does anyone know if there is any software (prefer open source) that will take Chinese character file name(.wav) and convert it into .mp3 without renaming the file?

I would like to have each ghost cast session to write to a file ( can be multiple text files or append to one file already there ) statistics. I know this is possible based on the options GhostCast software provides for writing to a log file, but I would like this automated for every image being backed up and restored. I have 3 seperate domains and would like to route each one through a different internal and external IP for (IP Reputation etc), at the minute it is only using the primary IP on the server to route email externally. Is this at all possible using SMTP Server in IIS, or is there any other software available to do this?

The google hits I find for 'stumbleupon unsubscribe' are mostly touting or promoting the service in some way. On their site I see no way to unsubscribe, unless perhaps if you create a membership.

• Cannot install boot camp 3.1 drivers on windows 7

  Hi all, I have a 64 bit windows 7 install (thru bootcamp) on my 17" macbook pro, with the bootcamp 3.0 drivers. Whenever i run the apple software update to install the 3.1 drivers, it downloads and installs them, then reboots, and when i've rebooted, it's still stuck on version 3.0 according to 'about boot camp' on the system tray icon. I've tried installing several times, it keeps happening. Any ideas? Thanks

I found a conversion utility at Lizardtech, but when I converted the doc using the lizardtech software, every page had a watermark - which rendered the converted doc virtually useless.
