  I've installed the Fast Video Download version 3.0.8 addon for Firefox to download flash videos, like from youtube. What I'm wondering is, how does the addon download it, and do other people see that i'm downloading the videos? For example, is all the software to download the video already on my computer, or does the addon contact someone else to get the video, or let them know? Can the webpage's administrator see I'm downloading the video?

  Hi all. I have a generic Logitech USB Optical Mouse (couldn't find a model number) and occasionally when I am doing a single click, it registers as a double click instead.   I know this is a lame cheap web camera, thus making it all the harder for me to find information about it. Ubuntu seems to recognise it, putting it in as /dev/video0 Skype is able to see that the web cam is there, but can not get any picture data. Flash doesn't even pick up that the web cam exists. I feel foolish asking such a lame question... but any help will be cool beans!

  I am trying to clone a Windows 7 Install from one machine to others, in a computer lab situation. I have used clonezilla to make an image of the machine's harddrive and then attempted to write that image to a second machine's disk. Everything went fine, but when I try to boot Windows 7 on the second machine I get a blue screen flash and then it tries to run the startup repair tool, which runs unsuccessfully. Is there something new with Windows 7 that keeps it from being cloned like this?

The client says that they have 55 machines in a WorkGroup and also has 1 server. I am not following what exactly is a WorkGroup and a Domain.   On a lenovo ThinkServer RD240 running firmware 1.20 with the latest BNC software, using the remote console to redirect a CD-ROM fails with the error: "CD-ROM redirection is not supported on this platform". Similar error for forwarding an iso image, foppy and USB drive. I tried executing the management console from Ubuntu, Windows 7 and OS X with the exact same error.   Hi, My MacBook's HD started failing recently. Fortunately most of the data was properly backed up and most of the other important data could be retrieved by hooking up the drive with the help of an external USB enclosure, but the problem is that my home directory has been encrypted with FileVault and I currently don't have easy access to a Mac. So can the FileVault sparsebundle be somehow decrypted and read with Linux?
