  I quickly wrote an interpreter for some sort of experimental programing language i came up with, in PHP (yes, in PHP). The language itself doesn't have anything really special, I just wanted to give it a try. I got the basic things working (Hello World, input to output, string manipulation, arithmetics) but I'm getting stuck with the management of blocks and grouped statements. What I mean is: PHP and most other languages let you do this: ((2+2)*(8+2)+2), of course not only with mathematical computations. My program structure currently consists of a multidimensional array built like this: ID => Type (Identifier, String, Int, Newline, EOF, Comma, ...) Contents (If identifier, int or string) How could I allow statements to be executed in a defined order like in the PHP example above?

  Hi SO, I can't seem to create the correct regular expression to extract the correct tokens from my string.   Hi I have a hobby project, which is basically to maintain 'todo' tasks in the way I like. What is the best strategy to store a todo item? (currently on an XML file) such that all the items are loaded quickly up on app start up(the application shows kind of a dashboard of all the items at start up) What is the best way to design its back-end so that it can be ported to android/or a J2ME based phone Currently this is done using java swing. What should be the concerns so that it works efficiently on a device where memory is limited? Thanks!

• concatenating strings from two different rows in a table

  Hello, We are attempting to rework the SQL in a product. The product stores XML in a table as follows: XML_STORAGE - UID IDENTITY - PARENT_ID INTEGER - SEQ INTEGER - XML VARCHAR(3800) The current way of doing this is as follows: Retrieve all ROWS for PARENT_ID = n. Then go over the fetched rows in the code and concatenate the XML strings into one large XML before parsing. The SEQ column is used to ORDER the result so the XML strings can be concatenated properly. Hopefully that is clear. What we are attempting to do is rework this so we can use a SQL variant to retrieve the whole string and just fetch one row back from DB2. Is there a DB2 function that will allow us to concatenate the string in all of these rows into one large string in the resultset. How would such a SQL look. Please let me know.   Hi guy, I need to integrate struts with spring for a project. I read the doc to ingrate struts and it's ok for classic beans but I have a problem for my forms. I have a form like this in my struts-config.xml: <form-beans> <form-bean name="creationForm" type="org.apache.struts.validator.DynaValidatorActionForm" > <form-property name="libelle" type="java.lang.String" /> <form-property name="quantite" type="java.lang.String" /> <form-property name="prix" type="java.lang.String" initial="10" /> </form-bean> But it's strange for me to have a "type" in struts-config because it's spring which manages beans. I don't found anything in the doc to manage forms by spring and the attribute "type" is mandatory for form in struts-config. Someone can help me please ?

Value cannot be null. Parameter name: languageTag What's the problem? Isn't this how to POST JSON to an MVC Controller? I can examine the POST using Fiddler and see that the request is correct. For some reason, UpdateLanguagePreference() is getting a null or empty string.

  Hi guys, I just wanted to know what happens behind my program when I declare and initialize a variable and later initialize it again with other values, e.g. an ArrayList or something similar. What happens in my RAM, when I say e.g. this: ArrayList<String> al = new ArrayList<String>(); ...add values, work with it and so on.... al = new ArrayList<String>(); So is my first ArrayList held in RAM or will the second ArrayList be stored on the same position where the first one has been before? Or will it just change the reference of "al"? If it is not replaced...is there a way to manually free the RAM which was occupied by the first arraylist?   According the the Perl documentation on regexes: By default, the "^" character is guaranteed to match only the beginning of the string ... Embedded newlines will not be matched by "^" ... You may, however, wish to treat a string as a multi-line buffer, such that the "^" will match after any newline within the string ... you can do this by using the /m modifier on the pattern match operator. The "after any newline" part means that it will only match at the beginning of the 2nd and subsequent lines. What if I want to match at the beginning of any line (1st, 2nd, etc.)? EDIT: OK, it seems that the file has BOM information (3 chars) at the beginning and that's what's messing me up. Any way to get ^ to match anyway? EDIT: So in the end it works (as long as there's no BOM), but now it seems that the Perl documentation is wrong, since it says "after any newline"

  I have an iPhone iOS4.1 application that uses localized strings. I have just started building unit tests using the SenTestingKit. I have been able to successfully test many different types of values. I am unable to correctly test any of my code that uses NSLocalizedString calls, because when the code runs in my LogicTests target, all of my NSLocalizedString calls only return the string key. I have added my Localizable.strings file to the LogicTests target. My question is: How must I configure my LogicTests target so that calls to NSLocalizedString will return the localized string and not the string key.

  I am trying to configure vlans on a netgear GS752TSX from the Linux command line with netsnmp. I have created vlan 99 on the web interface now want to control the pvid settings, egress and tagging.   Hi All, I have a NSArray of string id and a NSDictionary of NSDictionary objects. I am currently looping through the string id array to match the id value in the NSDictionary. There are around 200 NSDictionary objects and only 5 or so string ID. My current code is such: for (NSString *Str in aArr) { for (NSDictionary *a in apArr) { if ([a objectForKey:@"id"] == Str) { NSLog(@"Found!"); } } } The performance of the above code is really slow and I was wondering if there is a better way to do this?
