  • Login time out when calling opening a new window from modal popup (ASP.NET)

    I have a weird problem. I have a window, on a button click I open a modal popup (using ModelPopupExtender), that let's you select a few criteria and then click a submit button. On click of submit button, I open a new window (using window.open()) that shows the status of what happened to your submitted request. However, every time this status window is opened, it goes to the login page. I am thinking the modal popup can't pass the authentication cookie to the newly opened window, but I'm not sure.   • CDATA xml parsing extra greater than problem

    Hi, I am creating an xml using php and parsing that xml in iphone application code. In description field there is some html tags and text. I am using following line to convert this html tags in to xml tag using CDATA. $response .= '<desc><![CDATA['.trim($feed['fulltext']).']]></desc>'; Now, here my $feed['fulltext'] value is like this <span class="ABC">...text...</span> In xml I am getting following response, <desc><![CDATA[><span class"ABC">...text...</span>]]></desc> You can see here, I am getting an extra greater-than symbol just before the value of $feed['fulltext'] starts. (like this: ...text...) Any solution or suggestion for this? Thanks in advance. Cheers.

  • Retrieveing ALL head elements in document including iframe

    I'm trying to add style elements to all ALL the head elements in a document, including those in an iframe. if i use var heads = document.getElementsByTagName('head'); It just returns the first head element and not the ones in the iframe. this is the complete code : var heads = document.getElementsByTagName("head"); var style = document.createElement("style"); style.type = "text/css"; style.appendChild(document.createTextNode(css)); for(var i=0;i<heads.length;i++) heads[i].appendChild(style); but this doesn't seem to work! am i doing something wrong here...?

    Hi, We have a legacy application running tomcat that publishes data in a simple html table. I have no control on the remote server publishing the data. I am looking to extract the data into a WPF desktop application and display it as a table. Is there any way a WPF application can make a url call, get the result and parse the data.     I am having trouble with the following simple code List<Car> tempList = new List<Car>(); BindingSource bindingSource = new BindingSource(); bindingSource.DataSource = tempList; dgTempView.DataSource = bindingSource; Here, dgTempView is a data grid view After the above lines execute, the column count in the datagrid view remains 0. And when I try adding a Car instance in tempList, I get an error saying that 'no row can be added to a datagridview control that does not have columns' . I am not able to understand what am I missing here

    Hi, I want some help on UIAccelerometer class. I want to find some way to find out or distinguish when I wave iphone device from right-to-left and the left-to-right. I am getting x,y,z values as well as interval value. I am also getting velocity and distance calculated from normal physics rule. Distance = (prevDist + sqrt(pow((prevx - acceleration.x), 2) + pow((prevy - acceleration.y), 2) + pow((prevz - acceleration.z), 2))) Velocity = (Distance * timeintercal) { here distance means newdistance-prevdistance and timeinterval for that distance } When I am moving iphone device right-to-left then left-to-right I am getting total distance traveld in both direction and velocity at regular intervals. Can you help me how I can find out that I am moving iphone device left-to-right or right-to-left? Help would be appreciated. Thanks.

  • Flex chart display with no datapoint

    I need to display price of item for every date in the month. The chart can be Bar chart or plot chart. Question: Suppose there is no data available for 01/15/2010 then, Is there a way to display (01/15/2010) on x axis but no (bar or plot point) corresponding y axis point ? i.e. there will be a empty space between 2 bars or plot points. Currently i am using 0 , But 0 is a valid value. Let me know if such a display is possible.

  • Set focus to another control after TreeView click

    I have a TreeView control in a Windows application. I am opening another window from the TreeView click (Single Click) event (in tabbed environment, so all windows will appear as a tab in Visual Studio). I want to set focus to one control of the new window. The problem is that, I am able to set the focus on the double click event of the TreeView. But same doesn't seem to be working with the TreeView single-click event. Any workarounds?

  • Continuous Deployment with an ASP.NET website?

    I have a website in C#/ASP.NET that is currently in development. When we are in production, I would like to do releases frequently over the course of the day, as we fix bugs and add features (like this: http://toni.org/2010/05/19/in-praise-of-continuous-deployment-the-wordpress-com-story/). If you upload a new version of the site or even change a single file, it kicks out the users that are currently logged in and makes them start over any forms and such. Is there a secret to being able to do deployments without interfering with users for .NET sites?

I have seen the Xcode help but cant find any good example, also watched the CI video from 2013 conference How do i create a custom trigger script, so every time a developer commits their code it will automatically trigger the bot. How do I merge the code to master only if Test successfully passes the bot?     I have two table testa & testb. CREATE TABLE `testa` ( `id` INT(10) NOT NULL AUTO_INCREMENT, `name` VARCHAR(50) DEFAULT NULL, PRIMARY KEY (`id`) ); CREATE TABLE `testb` ( `id` INT(10) NOT NULL AUTO_INCREMENT, `name` VARCHAR(50) DEFAULT NULL, `aid1` INT(10) DEFAULT NULL, `aid2` INT(10) DEFAULT NULL, `aid3` INT(10) DEFAULT NULL, PRIMARY KEY (`id`) ); Currently I am running below query for retrieving all rows where id in testa table matches with any columns of aid1,aid2,aid3 in tableb. The query is retreiving acurate result but it is taking minimum 30 seconds to execute which is too much. I have also tried to optimise my query using UNION but failed to do so. SELECT a.id, a.name, b.name, b.id FROM testb b INNER JOIN testa a ON b.aid1 = a.id OR b.aid2 = a.id OR b.aid3 = a.id ; How do i optimize my query so it's total execution time is within 2-3 seconds?   • My App working fine in Samsung but acting weird in HTC Desire S?

    I have created an app demo app using cordova2.7 the app only contains a search box and two buttons in header and the same in the content field. When run the app in Emulator its working fine and then i tried to run it in Samsung mobile its working fine but when i tried to run it in HTC Desire S when i try to enter character to search element its dispalys some white box above the header and when i try to enter the character in the serach field that i have in the content field it does not show the keypad.Please refer the snapshot I have uploaded below from HTC Desire S
