    Hi, I installed wamp server on xp. During the installation it did not show any error/warning message. Then i start it & type http://localhost/ in url bar but it just show a blank page. I also checked notepad C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts their is no restriction for localhost. Help. Thanks...

    After installing Service Pack 3 I am getting this error "Generic Host Process For Win32 Services Encountered A Problem and needs to close. When this message pops my computer just stuck and I can not even restart it normally. The only fix of this problem is to un-install service pack 3 and run fix from Microsoft which is available for Service Pack 2. Any help to fix this. Thanks.

    hi , i think its a silly question , but i decided to go for it. i shall be buying 3 servers in next few weeks for setup a small webfarm at my home. i am told by different people who work in server rooms , that i should keep my servers in a Air Conditioned room. which is really expensive.because temperature in south asia is b/w 10--50(Centigrade). here comes the funny part, i have an extra fridge in my home , why shouldn't i put the servers inside that fridge. here are benefits listed i dont have 2 buy the air Conditioner i dont have to buy the rack mount for the servers the electricity consumed by the fridge in much much lessor as compared to an AC be free to give your suggestions :) thanks Jamal.

Here comes the funny part: I have an extra fridge in my home, why shouldn't I put the servers inside that fridge? Benefits: I don't have to buy the air conditioner. I don't have to buy the rack mount for the servers. The electricity consumed by the fridge is much much less than AC. Give me your suggestions!

  • Is it possible to code on two different computers simultaneously?

    I want to work with another programmer and I want the source code to be live in real-time on both of our screens. Is this possible on the Mac OS x or Linux? We're going to be using OS X but occasionally we might need to add an Ubuntu computer too. Is there a way I can do this using ssh, any shell based program, or even a good GUI? I thought Coda might be capable of this but it's not really working. Anyone ever do this? I'm not look for a git/svn/or any other version control system. This is more of a live coding session. :)

    A guy on my team compiled the radiusclient and radlogin executable found on that page. But installing it is getting more and more problematic and I can't seem to get anywhere ! I received from him: radclient libfreeradius-client.so.2 servers radiusclient.conf dictionary.dat radlogin What I'm trying to do is to install this client on a linux box and the: Access that box remotely using ssh. Then issue a authentication\accounting requests to another remote RADIUS server. But nothing seems intuitive about this and I have very little experience with linux and RADIUS protocols ! Has anyone successfully installed that client ? Thank you.

  • Folder Sharing NTFS permissions with Share Permission

    i have a problem on my domain, the history starting from when i had a server with WIN 2008 r2 installed with the following roles installed on it (AD, DNS, DHCP, File). From 1 month i decided to install a new server 2008 r2 server to get (AD, DNS, DHCP) and leave the file server on the old one. i did the following exactly: 1) robocopy all my data on external HDD 2) Install a new server with 2008 r2 3) transfer all 5 roles to transfer the domain to the new server (MainDC) 4) issue (NETLOGON, SYSVOL) not transferred but i decided to reinitialize them again an now they are operating (MainDC) 5) re-create and re-configure a new GPOs and link it to my OUs 6) reinstall Old server operating system with a fresh installation of WIN 2008 R2 (FileServer) 7) join my domain with my domain credentials. the issue when i tried to share folder on \fileserver the permissions that i had set in sharing permissions are applied on the main shared folder and subfolders. the security settings are not applied. i.e. Say i'm sharing \fileserver\MainFolder with sharing permission for Authenticated Users that can read, so every one can read this main shared folder, if i set security permission for \fileserver\MainFolder\User1 that User1 can Read\Write\Modify. User1 can not perform this processes when accessing it from Network Share, i tried alot of steps from topics online get ownership for folder, remove inheritance from parent folder, applying changes for child objects, i tried also to construct a new folder structure but also the same issue, i tried another host PC, also i get the same issue.

    I am using google map, displaying overlayitems on the google map. To create balloon effect, i am using customize view and using geopoints with MapView.LayoutParams to display it at particular location. overlayitem's icon and baloon both having same geopoint thats why they both are overriding eatch other. I want to display baloon over the overlayitem icon look like it should point to the icon.     I have 2 movie clips in my scene, one is charlie brown running and another is lucy lifting a football. The movie clip instances are aptly named: lucyLifting and charlieRunning. When I get to frame 75, I run the following code: stop(); trace(lucyLifting); trace(charlieRunning); lucyLifing.stop(); charlieRunning.stop(); and I get the following output: [object MovieClip] null Why isn't it recognizing my second movie clip instance?
