  • jquery fancybox not showing overlay correct

    - by George Grigorita
I have fancybox setup on this wordpress site: http://melisayavas.com/web/ When a user click on the bottom link News subscription the ajax pop-up box appears but the overlay doesn't float over the main content. This is the fancybox code that I used: <script type="text/javascript"> $(document).ready(function() { $(".fancybox").fancybox(); }); $(document).ready(function() { $(".various").fancybox({ maxWidth : 800, maxHeight : 600, fitToView : true, width : '70%', height : '70%', autoSize : true, closeClick : false, openEffect : 'none', closeEffect : 'none' }); }); </script> This is the link that the fancybox AJAX is shouwing: http://melisayavas.com/web/wp-content/themes/murtaugh-HTML5-Reset-Wordpress-Theme-8aa6329/subscribe.html - it's a mailchimp form. I have no idea why the overlay doesn't work properly...

  • How to make a mutable ItemizedOverlay

    - by Hamy
Hey all, I would like to make a Google map overlay with changable pins. An easy way to visualize this would be to think of a near real time overlay, where the pins are constantly changing location. However, I can't seem to think of a safe way to do this with the ItemizedOverlay. The problem seems to be the call to populate - If size() is called by some maps thread, and then my data changes, then the result when the maps call accesses getItem() can be an IndexOutOfBoundsException. Can anyone think of a better solution than overloading populate and wrapping super.populate in a synchronized block? Perhaps I could get better luck using a normal Overlay? The Itemized one seems to exist to manage the data for you, perhaps I am making a fundamental mistake by using it? Thanks for any help, my brain is hurting! Hamy

  • Android: Map Overlay Labels

    - by karnage
    I am building a MapView and I want my custom overlay items to display the name of the location they are marking when the user taps them, like the Android Maps app. I setup the onTap listener and the floating TextView to hold the location name. I still need to set it up so that it redraws the label when the user moves the map, etc. Anyway, I am wondering if I am reinventing the wheel here. Is there a built-in method I am unaware of? I would think that most implementations of MapView have labels. For reference, my implementation so far: in map xml: <LinearLayout android:id="@+id/mapBubbleWrap" android:layout_width="wrap_content" android:layout_height="wrap_content" android:layout_alignParentTop="true"> <TextView android:id="@+id/mapBubble" android:layout_width="wrap_content" android:layout_height="wrap_content" android:visibility="gone" android:background="#ffffff" android:textColor="#ff0000"/> </LinearLayout> in my extended ItemizedOverlay: public boolean onTap(int index) { this.setFocus( mOverlays.get(index) ); return true; } in my Activity onFocus: public void onFocusChanged( ItemizedOverlay overlay, OverlayItem item ) { if( item != null) { mapBubble.setText(item.getTitle()); Point newPoint = mapView.getProjection().toPixels(item.getPoint(), null); mapBubbleWrap.setPadding(newPoint.x, newPoint.y-10, 0, 0); mapBubble.setVisibility(View.VISIBLE); } }

  • WPF DataTemplate - Overlay

    - by David Ward
I have a class that I need to provide the datatemplate for. Currently I have two datatemplates, one for when Enabled == true and one for when Enabled == false. The datatemplate for the class is actually the one below which changes the template used based on a trigger: <DataTemplate x:Key="ActionNodeTemplateSelector"> <ContentPresenter Content="{Binding}" Name="cp" /> <DataTemplate.Triggers> <DataTrigger Binding="{Binding Enabled}" Value="True"> <Setter TargetName="cp" Property="ContentTemplate" Value="{StaticResource ActionNodeTemplate}" /> </DataTrigger> <DataTrigger Binding="{Binding Enabled}" Value="False"> <Setter TargetName="cp" Property="ContentTemplate" Value="{StaticResource ActionNodeDisabledTemplate}" /> </DataTrigger> </DataTemplate.Triggers> </DataTemplate> This all works well. However, now I want to also display an image overlay if the "Completed" property is true and a different image if it is incomplete. I could easily carry on using my approach to trigger on the Completed property as well but this would double the number of templates and feels wrong. Is there a way that I could have a trigger on my DataTemplate that will allow me to overlay the correct image over the existing template which is based on the Enabled property?

  • Android - overlay small check icon over specific image in gridview or change border

    - by oscar
I've just asked a question about an hour ago, while waiting for replies, I've thought maybe I can achieve what I want differently. I was thinking of changing the image but it would be better if I could perhaps overlay something over the top of complete levels in the gridview i.e a small tick icon At the moment, when a level has been completed I am storing that with sharedpreferences So I have a gridView layout to display images that represent levels. Let's just say for this example I have 20 levels. When one level is complete is it possible to overlay the tick icon or somehow highlight the level image. Maybe change the border of the image?? Here are the image arrays I use int[] imageIDs = { R.drawable.one, R.drawable.two, R.drawable.three, R.drawable.four, R.drawable.five, R.drawable.six etc....... and then I have my code to set the images in gridView. Obviously there is more code in between. public View getView(int position, View convertView, ViewGroup parent) { ImageView imageView; if (convertView == null) { imageView = new ImageView(context); imageView.setLayoutParams(new GridView.LayoutParams(140, 140)); imageView.setScaleType(ImageView.ScaleType.CENTER_CROP); imageView.setPadding(5, 5, 5, 5); } else { imageView = (ImageView) convertView; } imageView.setImageResource(imageIDs[position]); return imageView; would it be possible to do any of the above, even the border method would be fine. Thanks for any help

  • Show multiple calendars in overlay view by default

    - by Kyle Strand
In MS Outlook 2007/2010, it's possible to show multiple calendars overlayed on each other (a la Google Calendar; see http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/help/view-calendars-side-by-side-or-overlaid-HA001230157.aspx#BM4). However, it appears that in order to do this, you must first open the calendars side-by-side and then press the little left-arrow button to "combine" them into an overlaid view. Is there a way to make "overlaid" the default view for multiple calendars (again, a la Google Calendar)?

  • Keeping Xv Overlay configuration throughout an X session.

    - by kriss
After upgrading my Linux system from Ubuntu 9.04 to Ubuntu 10.10, I suceeded correcting most problems (all related to Intel 82865G Integrated Graphics Adapter support and compiz is still not working but that's another matter) but for one I only have a partial solution. Whenever I play a video the colors are much too saturated. This is really a problem for tones of skins that appears reddish (everyone seems to be coming back from a ski vacation with deep sun burns). As this effect only occurs with videos, not with pictures, I finally figured out it was related to Video Overlays configuration and I can correct it typing: xvattr -a XV_SATURATION -v 120 This change the default saturation value, which is 500 and much too high in my case, at eye sight the correct value seems to be between 100 and 150. Now my problem is that I have to type the above command each time I run a video. If I type it before running the video it has no effect, if I close the video and open a new one, I have to type it again, etc. I tried to put it in Xsession and (logically) it has no effect either. How could I do to get the correct setting whenever I run a video without typing the above command every time ?

  • video editing tool to color overlay a specific part

    - by Santosh
I have downloaded a video from YouTube. But the uploader has put some link (their twitter and facebook) for promotional purpose. The links keeps coming up through out the video in the black area (up and down of the video which are black). Thank god that links are on the black part of the video otherwise it would be hard to remove.    Also I want to remove the the last few seconds of the video. I don't want to crop that part. The video is in MP4 format. I don't want to lose the quality in anyway, I won't mind if the file size increases. I want a opensource and free tool. Good if it is available to both Windows and Ubuntu. Here is a link to the video.

How do I disable this? I have tried contentBackgroundAlpha="0" and backgroundAlpha="0" with no luck. anyone know what the proper syntax is for disabling this transparency? I have been searching through the docs for a 30 minutes now looking for it.

  • Need Google Map InfoWindow Hyperlink to Open Content in Overlay (Fusion Table Usage)

    - by McKev
I have the following code established to render the map in my site. When the map is clicked, the info window pops up with a bunch of content including a hyperlink to open up a website with a form in it. I would like to utilize a function like fancybox to open up this link "form" in an overlay. I have read that fancybox doesn't support calling the function from within an iframe, and was wondering if there was a way to pass the link data to the DOM and trigger the fancybox (or another overlay option) in another way? Maybe a callback trick - any tips would be much appreciated! <style> #map-canvas { width:850px; height:600px; } </style> <script type="text/javascript" src="http://maps.google.com/maps/api/js?sensor=true"></script> <script src="http://gmaps-utility-gis.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/fusiontips/src/fusiontips.js" type="text/javascript"></script> <script type="text/javascript"> var map; var tableid = "1nDFsxuYxr54viD_fuH7fGm1QRZRdcxFKbSwwRjk"; var layer; var initialLocation; var browserSupportFlag = new Boolean(); var uscenter = new google.maps.LatLng(37.6970, -91.8096); function initialize() { map = new google.maps.Map(document.getElementById('map-canvas'), { zoom: 4, mapTypeId: google.maps.MapTypeId.ROADMAP }); layer = new google.maps.FusionTablesLayer({ query: { select: "'Geometry'", from: tableid }, map: map }); //http://gmaps-utility-gis.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/fusiontips/docs/reference.html layer.enableMapTips({ select: "'Contact Name','Contact Title','Contact Location','Contact Phone'", from: tableid, geometryColumn: 'Geometry', suppressMapTips: false, delay: 500, tolerance: 8 }); ; // Try W3C Geolocation (Preferred) if(navigator.geolocation) { browserSupportFlag = true; navigator.geolocation.getCurrentPosition(function(position) { initialLocation = new google.maps.LatLng(position.coords.latitude,position.coords.longitude); map.setCenter(initialLocation); //Custom Marker var pinColor = "A83C0A"; var pinImage = new google.maps.MarkerImage("http://chart.apis.google.com/chart?chst=d_map_pin_letter&chld=%E2%80%A2|" + pinColor, new google.maps.Size(21, 34), new google.maps.Point(0,0), new google.maps.Point(10, 34)); var pinShadow = new google.maps.MarkerImage("http://chart.apis.google.com/chart?chst=d_map_pin_shadow", new google.maps.Size(40, 37), new google.maps.Point(0, 0), new google.maps.Point(12, 35)); new google.maps.Marker({ position: initialLocation, map: map, icon: pinImage, shadow: pinShadow }); }, function() { handleNoGeolocation(browserSupportFlag); }); } // Browser doesn't support Geolocation else { browserSupportFlag = false; handleNoGeolocation(browserSupportFlag); } function handleNoGeolocation(errorFlag) { if (errorFlag == true) { //Geolocation service failed initialLocation = uscenter; } else { //Browser doesn't support geolocation initialLocation = uscenter; } map.setCenter(initialLocation); } } google.maps.event.addDomListener(window, 'load', initialize); </script>

  • Android map performance with > 800 overlays of KML data

    - by span
I have some a shape file which I have converted to a KML file that I wish to read coordinates from and then draw paths between the coordinates on a MapView. With the help of this great post: How to draw a path on a map using kml file? I have been able to read the the KML into an ArrayList of "Placemarks". This great blog post then showed how to take a list of GeoPoints and draw a path: http://djsolid.net/blog/android---draw-a-path-array-of-points-in-mapview The example in the above post only draws one path between some points however and since I have many more paths than that I am running into some performance problems. I'm currently adding a new RouteOverlay for each of the separate paths. This results in me having over 800 overlays when they have all been added. This has a performance hit and I would love some input on what I can do to improve it. Here are some options I have considered: Try to add all the points to a List which then can be passed into a class that will extend Overlay. In that new class perhaps it would be possible to add and draw the paths in a single Overlay layer? I'm not sure on how to implement this though since the paths are not always intersecting and they have different start and end points. At the moment I'm adding each path which has several points to it's own list and then I add that to an Overlay. That results in over 700 overlays... Simplify the KML or SHP. Instead of having over 700 different paths, perhaps there is someway to merge them into perhaps 100 paths or less? Since alot of paths are intersected at some point it should be possible to modify the original SHP file so that it merges all intersections. Since I have never worked with these kinds of files before I have not been able to find a way to do this in GQIS. If someone knows how to do this I would love for some input on that. Here is a link to the group of shape files if you are interested: http://danielkvist.net/cprg_bef_cbana_polyline.shp http://danielkvist.net/cprg_bef_cbana_polyline.shx http://danielkvist.net/cprg_bef_cbana_polyline.dbf http://danielkvist.net/cprg_bef_cbana_polyline.prj Anyway, here is the code I'm using to add the Overlays. • IE8 positions DIV overlay wrong way and keeps playing video when it's hidden.

    - by George
Hi! Please take a look at: http://www.binarymark.com/Products/PasswordGenerator/default.aspx (the Overview tab, on the diagram). The issue is wjen you click on any of the diagram elements say "Character Groups" all browsers, except IE8 behave well - that is they display the overlay, start playing a video, and when the overlay is closed, the video stops playing an the div is hidden. IE8, on the other hand has two flaws: it positions the overlay way towards the bottom and too much to the right, and even more annoyingly - it keeps playing video in the background even when the overlay div is closed! I use flowplayer.org/tools/overlay/ for overlay. Can you help please? Thanks.

  • Eclipse standard warning/error overlay icons

    - by pulzar
I'm writing an Eclipse plug-in... In my custom label decorator, I want to overlay a warning icon, and I'd like to use the standard one used by eclipse (the little yellow triangle). How can I get an image descriptor of this icon? I tried using workbench.getSharedImages().getImageDescriptor(ISharedImages .IMG_DEC_FIELD_WARNING), since that ID seems to match what I'm looking for, but the shared images collection doesn't actually have that image in it (so I just get a null returned). Is there some other shared image collection that I should be looking at?

How can I make my popoverview overlay over top of the navcontrollerbar? Here's an image of the problem: http://img593.imageshack.us/img593/4056/viewn.jpg Here's my code I'm working with: - (IBAction)onButtonClick:(UIButton *)button { if (self.popoverController) { [self.popoverController dismissPopoverAnimated:YES]; self.popoverController = nil; [button setTitle:@"Show Popover" forState:UIControlStateNormal]; } else { UIViewController *contentViewController = [[WEPopoverContentViewController alloc] initWithStyle:UITableViewStylePlain]; self.popoverController = [[[WEPopoverController alloc] initWithContentViewController:contentViewController] autorelease]; [self.popoverController presentPopoverFromRect:button.frame inView:self.view permittedArrowDirections:UIPopoverArrowDirectionDown animated:YES]; [contentViewController release]; [button setTitle:@"Hide Popover" forState:UIControlStateNormal]; } } Is there anyway to make this popover above the navigation controller bar? Here is the full source code what I'm working with https://github.com/werner77/WEPopover Hopefully someone knows how to fix this problem, Thanks in advance.

  • JQuery plugin to animate overlay

    - by Gary
I'm looking for a JQuery plugin to animate the appearance and disappearance of an overlay div. Something like what Rackspace has here: http://www.rackspacecloud.com/ After staring at the page for 30 seconds or so, a div comes sliding down from the top asking you whether you want to chat with a rep. If you ignore the div for a period of time it slides back up. I know I could hand code all this using timers and animate() and such, but hoping someone has done it for us already. Any ideas?
