Django + FastCGI - randomly raising OperationalError

I'm running a Django application. Had it under Apache + mod_python before, and it was all OK. Switched to Lighttpd + FastCGI. Now I randomly get the following exception (neither the place nor the time where it appears seem to be predictable). Since it's random, and it appears only after switching to FastCGI, I assume it has something to do with some settings. Found a few results when googleing, but they seem to be related to setting maxrequests=1. However, I use the default, which is 0. Any ideas where to look for? PS. I'm using PostgreSQL. Might be related to that as well, since the exception appears when making a database query. Thanks. Problem with bootstrap loader and kernel

We are working on a project to learn how to write a kernel and learn the ins and outs. We have a bootstrap loader written and it appears to work. However we are having a problem with the kernel loading. In addition, the bootloader and kernel do work within bochs as we do get the message "Welcome to our OS". But booting from the floppy we get output like so: Loading Kernel Shell ........... ERROR : Press key to reboot Other specifics: OpenSUSE 11.2, GNOME desktop, AMD x64 Any other information I may have missed, feel free to ask. I tried to get everything in here that would be needed. If I need to, I can find a way to get the entire bootloader.asm posted somewhere. We are not really interested in using GRUB either for several reasons. This could change, but we want to see this boot successful before we really consider GRUB.

Replacing UTF-8 with ASCII-8BIT gives a similar error. I get the same result when using plain_part for plain email messages. I am handling emails from one specific source so I can put html_part with confidence it's not causing the error. To make it extra weird Subject in Arabic is rendered perfectly. What encoding should I use?

Reduce Multiple Errors logging in sysssislog

Need help. I am trying to automate error notifications to be sent in mailers. For that I am querying the sysssislog table. I have pasted an "Execute SQl task" on the package event handler "On error". For testing purpose, I am deliberately trying to load duplicate keys in a table which consists of a Primary key column(so as to get an error). But instead of having just one error, "Violation of primary key constraint", SSIS records 3 in the table. PFA the screenshot as well. How can i restrict the tool to log only one error and not multiple ??? Package Structure. Package ("On error Event handler") - DFT - Oledb Source - Oledb Destination SSIS Error Code DTS_E_OLEDBERROR. An OLE DB error has occurred. Error code: 0x80004005. An OLE DB record is available. Source: "Microsoft SQL Server Native Client 10.0" Hresult: 0x80004005 Description: "The statement has been terminated.". An OLE DB record is available. Unable to add item to dataset in Linq to SQL

I am having an issue adding an item to my dataset in Linq to SQL. I am using the exact same method in other tables with no problem. I suspect I know the problem but cannot find an answer (I also suspect all i really need is the right search term for Google). Please keep in mind this is a learning project (Although it is in use in a business) I have posted my code and datacontext below. What I am doing is: Create a view model (Relevant bits are shown) and a simple wpf window that allows editing of 3 properties that are bound to the category object. Category is from the datacontext. Edit works fine but add does not. If I check GetChangeSet() just before the db.submitChanges() call there are no adds, edits or deletes. I suspect an issue with the fact that a Category added without a Subcategory would be an orphan but I cannot seem to find the solution.
