    I've got a piece of tracking code which is capturing REMOTE_HOST, SERVER, REQUEST_METHOD, SCRIPT_NAME and QUERY_STRING. It grabs these from ServerVariables and sticks them in a database by user and IP. What is the best way to pick up the exact contents of what was posted back to a URL in ASP.NET? Is there an HTTP_POST? I'd rather not grab something and then have to parse it.

    how can i construct a artificial request to login to twitter or any site for that matter that accpets post forms. what i've been trying is to extract the headers and post request parameters from the origional request(directed at the action atribute of the form) and copy it to the outgoing url object that i am making.but it just won't work. And i am aware of the apis and i don't wanna use them i am trying this to write a web proxy site.

    hi, I've created a custom coponent for joomla and I've created a menu which uses that component and set a template for that menu. The thing is when I go to the url test.com/index.php?option=com_mycomponent, it still uses the default template instead of the template that I set it to. PS: The component works, only it's using the wrong template.

    Hi, Sorry, I'm quite new to Java. I've stumbled across HttpGet and HttpPost which seem to be perfect for my needs, but a little long winded. I have written a rather bad wrapper class, but does anyone know of where to get a better one? While it blocks the browser during the active request, what is the most efficient way to change the cursor to the hourglass or display a wait .gif?   • uploaded image doesn't change in the browser, although on the drive I have the new image

    I have a View where I can upload an image and the image is also displayed in there like this: //ResourceStorage is a virtual directory that indicates to the pictures storage location <img src='<%=Url.Content("~/ResourceStorage/Profile/pic.jpg") %>' alt='pic' /> after I upload the picture, on the hard drive I get the new "pic.jpg" but in the browser I still have the old one (I tried clearing the cache, doesn't help)
