Hello!
Can someone explain me why verlet integration is better then euler ? And why rk4 better then verlet ? I don't understand why it is better method :/
I am trying to unit test my ViewModel and my SaveItem(save, CanSave) delegate command. I want to ensure that CanSave is called and returns the correct value given certain conditions. Basically, how can I invoke the delegate command from my unit test, actually it's more of an integration test. Obviously I could just test the return value of the CanSave method but I am trying to use BDD to the letter, ie. no code without a test first.
Does anyone have an example of using Apache Qpid within a standalone junit test.
Ideally I want to be able to create a queue on the fly which I can put/get msgs within my test.
So I'm not testing QPid within my test, I'll use integration tests for that, however be very useful to test methods handling msgs with having to mock out a load of services.
What are the linux developper tools to do the things i do with .NET in my windows environnement :
I would like to port my client server application that runs under winform/nhibernate/sql server.

I really would like to integrate the Myspace ID platform on my site using PHP, instead of allowing users to sign in to my site anytime with there myspace ID I am planning on just using it 1 time on signup process to allow them to import profile data from there myspace to my network.
I have note been able to find any good example code for doing any kind of myspace integration, has anyone done this and care to share any info on the issue please?
Hi,
Has anyone been able to implement Facebooks Graph API in a native iPhone Application?
The documentation is pretty sparse when it comes to iPhone integration, but the calls to get users information looks a lot more light weight than the previous method of using FBConnect. So i would like to use it.
I have seen a few posts about but none explain you you would implement the login button as we did previously with FBConnect?
If any one has achieved this or can offer me any pointers that would be brilliant
Thanks
Tom
I'm looking into using SharePoint (WSS 3.0, specifically) for the document library and discussion board functionalities.
I'd like to ask those of you who have experience in SP (MOSS or WSS, since we might upgrade in the future) for a list of the items that ticked you off or required a difficult workaround.
Here's one from me - I found when I implemented forms authentication that a lot of the built-in integration with Microsoft Office disappeared, and I was also unable to use explorer view.
I am looking for a good personal desktop wiki with a good desktop integration.
Like for example drag and drop of files, images, etc.
I am currently evaluating WikidPad.
Which personal wiki are you using and what is your experience with it?
I want to install the Photoshop mobile on my emulator. I need to do test the Photoshop.com Mobile integration for image editing. But I dont know how to do that. I cannot access the market from the emulator.
Can anyone tell me how I can install it on my simulator.
Trying to do something similiar to how sourceforge starts the download on the page, and uses a direct link in case it doesn't work.
I can't seem to locate the javascript they use to start the downlaod popup.

I am working on incorporating CruiseControl into my teams build process. What we need is a way to pass a Clearcase view name into the ant script so it knows what view to use when building. Sometimes a developer needs to create a build that is used for their testing only and not on the main integration branch. Is there a way to do this?
I would like to do a "sexy" / user-friendly / appealing GUI in java. Swing is a limited in terms of "skin" customisation.
I'm thinking about JavaFX but I don't it yet,
what can I achieve with this technology ?
how hard is it ?
do you have examples of real-life examples of Swing/JavaFX integration ?
I would like to do something in this spirit of this, which is built on the .NET framework:

I am trying to setup a dev environment at home. My primary development environment is VS.NET 2008 (now it is VS 2010 Premium) with SQL Server 2008.
Objectives / Requirements :
- Should be simple and lightweight
- Should have a VisualStudio plugin (cost should be less than $50, if its not free)
- should work just fine with continuous integration systems like TFS and CruiseControl.NET
- VSS is not an option.
Thanks in advance,
SK
I was told IBM no-longer uses Dojo. Is this true? A small amount of web searching shows IBM is/was a member of the Dojo Foundation and is/was a code contributor... If it is true, approximately when did IBM stop using Dojo? If its not, to what extend is IBM still actively using and promoting the toolkit (use in their public web sites, product integration/bundling, etc)?

How do you check to see if a file does not exist in SQL Server Integration Services 2005?
Is there a native SSIS component which will just do this for you?
I need a quick jump start for using Spring and Hibernate together and I was looking for some sample code to modify and extend. Bonus points for Struts2 and Spring Security integration.
We build a system that handling the billing analyse and what it does it just have a raw bill from vendor and process to "common" table and this is using SQL Server 2005 Integration Services.
At the moment, the batch has 300,000 rows and it took about 6 minutes to process. Now, the current spec are:
2 CPUs Intel Xeon E5345 @ 2.33 GHz
RAM 4GB
Is there anyway I can speed up this process?
I am developing a java application and I want to use:
Reporting
Analysis
Data Mining
Data Integration
tools to be shipped with my commercial application that I am NOT going to sell as an open source application.
So I want to know which tools I can use in my app.
Actually I am evaluating PENTAHO and JASPER but I don't understand licensing issues. Some comes under GPL, some under LGPL, some under CPL... so I am very confused about those.
I am aware of other solutions like System.Data.Sqlite or Firebird through Dblinq, but since nothing beats SQL Compact Edition (integration-wise) with VisualStudio, I would like to use it and to know if its license allows its usage in Open Source projects.
Thanks.
I want to have a seperate project that runs my server communication code in a normal JVM for the purposes of integration testing. This code uses these libraries which are build into the Android Framework...
http://developer.android.com/reference/org/apache/http/client/package-summary.html
Does anybody know what version of Apache HTTP Client this is supposed to be? I want to run it without the Android tests which are painfully slow.
I am currently in the process of setting up ndepend report generation as part of Continuous Integration build process using CruiseControl.Net, I have followed the instructions outlined in ThoughtWorks Website.
The ndepend tasks runs fine and the reports are generated correctly but when I goto the dashboard and try to bring up the ndepend reports, nothing comes up (it displays blank). Does the cruisecontrol dashboard application expects the ndepend report in a particular file under the working folder or the artifact folder ?
I'm searching for compelling git and Mercurial clients on Mac OS X. The most clients I've found so far were less compelling as I expected. Some of the clients are programmed even in ruby or tcl/tk, which IMO aren't good OSX citizens in regard of integration in the OS.
I've clients in mind similar to Versions.app or Cornetstone which are subversion-only clients. Perhaps somebody got an insider tip for me.
I've seen questions asked here before, but they do not address the issue. That said:
"In App Purchases" specifically may not be real world goods or services, according to Apple. What services allow integration with iPhone apps so that I can use ObjectiveC to sell things in an iPhone app?
