• Proxy Error 502 "Reason: Error reading from remote server" with Apache 2.2.3 (Debian) mod_proxy and Jetty 6.1.18

  Apache is receiving requests at port :80 and proxying them to Jetty at port :8080 The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server The proxy server could not handle the request GET /. My dilemma: Everything works fine normally (fast requests, few seconds or few tens of seconds long requests are processed ok). Problems occur when request processing takes long (few minutes?). If I issue request instead directly to Jetty at port :8080 the request is processed OK. So problem is likely to sit somewhere between Apache and Jetty where I am using mod_proxy. How to solve this? I have already tried some "tricks" related to KeepAlive settings, without luck. • How to get corresponding build artifacts of a job in jenkins ?

  I create Jenkins jobs using hudson.cli.CLI jar. I have selected "Archive the artifacts" option in the "Post-build steps" section. It archives the artifacts on each succesfull build. I am using jenkins remote access api http://localhost:8080/job/job_name/api/json to get details about jobs. and http://localhost:8080/job/job_name/job_number/api/json to get details about builds. When I delete a build corresponding archived artifacts are not deleted. I'd like to make sure that they are deleted. When I use jenkins remote access api http://localhost:8080/job/[job_name]/[job_number]/api/json for a build, it returns json data which contains all previously archived artifacts (other successful builds artifacts) with this (running build) build artifact. How do I get related artifact of a build (a successful build should return its artifact, not all previous successfull artifacts). Any suggestions or ideas ?

LATER EDIT: I temporarily added 2 other Subscribe buttons on my website to demonstrate that it works for example for Mark Zuck's page and to demonstrate that there are no JS conflicts. The 2 buttons appeared ok, but my button still didn't show up.

The thing is that I want the main thread to wait for the animation thread to finish and then to continue. I searched around, read a little bit and decided to use the join() method. It perfectly waits for the thread to finish but I doesn't animate correctly. The repaint() method gets called 2 times instead of nine. I think maybe the problem is because I used singletons. • Favicon to PNG in PHP

  I need a PHP script to convert favicons to PNGs while keeping their original dimensions. I know Google has it's secret icon converter - http://www.google.com/s2/favicons?domain=http://facebook.com/ but this converts favicons to 16x16 even if they they were originally larger. So basically I need this, minus the shrinking effect. I've also seen this - http://www.controlstyle.com/articles/programming/text/php-favicon/ but I couldn't get it to work after hours of messing around with it. Basically I am trying to automatically grab the icon for a link that will be as large as possible - automatically 48x48 png based on a URL would be the perfect scenario, but I don't know of any humanly possible way to do this given that no websites happen to keep a 48x48 icon in a publicly accessible spot. Does anybody know of a script/service or have a suggestion? Thanks!

  I'm trying to handle Clean URIs in a Classic ASP application. In PHP, I was able to use URIs like http://example.com/index.php/foo/bar/baz and have /foo/bar/baz available in the PATH_INFO environment variable. (I usually add a rewrite rule so I do not need the index.php segment) However, I don't seem to be able to mimic this in Classic ASP. If I try http://example.com/index.asp/foo/bar/baz, I get a 404 error. Is there a way to add a path after the index.asp segment and get the PHP like behaviour in ASP? Note: I'm currently using the workaround of rewriting URLs of the form: http://example.com/foo/bar/baz/ to index.asp?path=/foo/bar/baz since I can't seem to get index.asp/foo/bar/baz to work.

• where do i put html files in my web-app folder for a lift project with maven?

  I'm new to Lift framework for scala. For some reason, index.html resides in the web-app directory, and when I start up jetty, http://localhost:8080/ will point to that index.html file just fine. However, if I put a login.html file in the same folder as the index.html, and then go http://localhost:8080/login, Lift does not serve the file. Where do I need to put the files to get them register? I am a little lost because the behaviour only seems to work for index.html and nothing else.   I'm trying to install CouchDB on my mac, running snow leopard 10.6. I installed Xcode, MacPorts, and then followed the instructions here: http://wiki.apache.org/couchdb/Installing_on_OSX It all worked fine until I tried to visit the web interface: http://127.0.0.1:5984/_utils/index.html Google chrome said "Oops!   When I save the source of this page of a Russian website: http://www.mail.ru/ as a .txt file, all Russian letters turn into Chinese characters (I am working on a Chinese computer at the moment), but when I save another page of another Russian website: http://starling.rinet.ru/cgi-bin/response.cgi?root=/usr/local/share/starling/morpho&morpho=0&basename=\usr\local\share\starling\morpho\ozhegov\ozhegov&first=4001 also as a .txt file, all Russian letters are saved in it as the are. Why is it so?

I can't remove many-to-one mapping because that also disables explicit loading or a query like from x in session.Query<Comment>() where x.Owner.Title == "hello" select x; I specified lazy="true" and set use_proxy_validator property to false. But that also eager loads Owner. Is there any way to load only Post entity?

• Fix a 404: missing parameters error from a GET request to CherryPy

  I'm making a webpage using CherryPy for the server-side, HTML, CSS and jQuery on the client-side. I'm also using a mySQL database. I have a working form for users to sign up to the site - create a username and password. I use jQuery to send an AJAX POST request to the CherryPy which queries the database to see if that username exists. If the username exists, alert the user, if it doesn't, add it to the database and alert success. $.post('submit', postdata, function(data) { alert(data); }); Successful jQuery POST. I want to change the form so that instead of checking that the username exists on submit, a GET request is made as on the blur event from the username input. The function gets called, and it goes to the CherryPy, but then I get an error that says: HTTPError: (404, 'Missing parameters: username'). $.get('checkUsername', getdata, function(data) { alert(data); }); Unsuccessful jQuery GET.   In the OAuth 2.0 draft specification, user-agent clients receive authorization in the form of a bearer token via redirection (from an authentication server) to a URL such as HTTP/1.1 302 Found Location: http://example.com/rd#access_token=FJQbwq9&expires_in=3600 According to Section 3.5.2 it is then the user-agent's job to GET the URL in question, but "The user-agent SHALL NOT include the fragment component with the request." In other words, as a result of the example redirection above, the user-agent should GET /rd HTTP/1.1 Host: example.com without passing #access_token to the server. My question: what user agents behave this way? I thought redirection in Firefox, for example, would (logically) include the fragment in the GET request. Am I just wrong about this, or does the OAuth 2.0 specification rely on non-standard user-agent behavior?
