    I came across people passing data objects as: declaration: DataObject * data = 0; calling it as: SomeMethod( data ); definition of Somethod: void SomeMethod(SomeObject * & object) My obvious question is, when and why do you have to do this (& *)? Is it passing the pointer as reference?

But whats the use of size < FILL_THRESHOLD in above? I mean is there any significant performance benefit over using iterator for size>=FILL_THRESHOLD and not for size < FILL_THRESHOLD ?     I do not understand how to use enumeration types. I understand what they are, but I don't quite get their purpose. I have made a program that inputs three sides of a triangle and outputs whether or not they are isosceles, scalene, or equilateral.
