I have an HTML element with overflow: scroll. The click event listener registered with the element is triggered when I click on the element, but not when I click on the scroll bar for the element. Is it possible to capture mouse events which occur on an HTML element's scroll bar?
The reason I want to do this is to make a visual popup element disappear when ever a click event occurs anywhere outside the popup element.
Could anyone help with a link to comprehensive example or book with all possible kinds of columns for ListView. ListView is bound to Observable collection but read-only ( except checkboxes which are primarily to drive certain actions for selected rows for the application ).
I have a WPF application which uses a JumpList (Recent only). Everything works perfectly until I deploy it using ClickOnce - the JumpList simply does not show (BTW, it does not show as well when running under VS debugger.
Anybody knows if it is possible to have JumpList working from a ClickOnce deployed app?
What is the simplest possible C function for starting the R interpreter, passing in a small expression (eg, 2+2), and getting out the result? I'm trying to compile with MingW on Windows.
dear friends,
i have created a custom dialog class
public class NewPost extends Dialog
{
// functionality
}
now my requirement is to create listview inside it. i know we can create textboxes,buttons,dropdown list inside it.
but in order to create list view we should inherit our class from listActivity class
what you suggest is it possible or not if yes then how to achieve this using any interface or what?
any help would be appriciated.
public abstract class Master
{
public void printForAllMethodsInSubClass()
{
System.out.println ("Printing before subclass method executes");
}
}
public class Owner extends Master {
public void printSomething () {
System.out.println ("This printed from Owner");
}
public int returnSomeCals ()
{
return 5+5;
}
}
Without messing with methods of subclass...is it possible to execute printForAllMethodsInSubClass() before the method of a subclass gets executed?
I am getting a string from the user and then doing some checking to make sure it is valid, here is the code I have been using;
char digit= userInput.charAt(0) - '0';
This had been working fine until I did some work on another method, I went to compile and have been receiving a 'possible loss of precision' error since then.
What am I doing wrong?
I'm in the course of doing some schema migrations, and would like to know if it's possible or advisable to run every stored procedure, view and function in my database as an alter statement to "compile" them all to make sure nothing is completely broken.
I created a query that takes a database backup at certain specified location.
I want to use it as a stored procedure but this should act as a global stored procedure so that whenever this SP is called. Then database backup is taken.
It uses DB_Name() to take database backup of owner database.
Is it possible to create any such SP or Function.
I am using sql server 2005
Is it possible to use pure Encoding and Decoding keys instead of private and public keys? As I know in .Net asymmetric RSA implementation private key RSAParameters parameters = (new RSACryptoServiceProvider()).ExportParameters(true) is a superset of public key. And using private key we can both encode and decode our data. But I need key only for decoding data. How to do it?
I experimented on nulling RSAParameters fields, but RSACryptoServiceProvider object can't import such parameters.
Hi, I'm really confused about the visitor pattern and its uses. I can't really seem to visualize the benefits of using this pattern or its purpose. If someone could explain with examples if possible that would be great. =)
Thanks in advance
Is it possible to do a redirect in the routes file of a Rails app?
Specifically, I'd like to forward /j/e to /javascripts/embed.js
Right now the only way I can think to do it is to create a j controller with an e method that redirects to that.
I have an website on asp.net-mvc, I'm thinking of using paypal for payments, is it possible to use paypal api for selling website's currency to users and buying it back ?
In Python I have a list of n lists, each with a variable number of elements. How can I create a single list containing all the possible permutations:
For example
[ [ a, b, c], [d], [e, f] ]
I want
[ [a, d, e] , [a, d, f], [b, d, e], [b, d, f], [c, d, e], [c, d, f] ]
Note I don't know n in advance. I thought itertools.product would be the right approach but it requires me to know the number of arguments in advance
Hi All,
Is it possible to retrieve the DataRowIndex of the binding datarow from its parent DataTable. I would use it to point again back to the datatable when i perform a delete operation. I can't use the DataItemIndex of GridView since the rows with RowState=Deleted still exists., so it won't point to the correct row of datatable.
We would like to protect the database and not have connections to it in the DMZ, it is possible to to use the new WCF Router services to redirect to RIA?
How would I go about generating a list of all possible permutations of a string between x and y characters in length, containing a variable list of characters.
Any language would work but it should be portable.
If memory serves me correctly, google does this for the maps site. I know google's mobile maps app can determine the rough location (I assume using some kind of cell tower lookup), yet I seem to remember the site getting somewhat close to the current location when viewing on a mobile browser.
Anyone know how/if that's possible? Does the IP address change based on the tower or area (seems like they'd be using some kind of gateway common to the carrier)?
I would like users to be able to have persistent shopping carts. In other words, unless they check out the shopping cart explicitly the shopping cart with the same items should be available the next time they visit the site. Obviously this would be through the use of a cookie...
Is this possible in Drupal?
I have lists of data such as
a = [1,2,3,4]
b = ["a","b","c","d","e"]
c = ["001","002","003"]
And I want to create new another list that was mixed from all possible case of a,b,c like this
d = ["1a001","1a002","1a003",...,"4e003"]
Is there any module or method to generate d without write many for loop?
Is it possible to do things in a PHPish way in ASP.Net? I've seen <%= %> but I've tried it and couldn't get it to work.
The PHPish equivalent of what I want to do is
<script src="<?php echo ResolveUrl("jquery/js/jquery.js"); ?>"></script>
