  • Font Size Based on Char or Number Data

    I am trying to find a way to display numerical digits as a larger font size than chars on a website (not my idea!). The reason for this is to make the numbers stand out. I have looked for a font that would satisfy this without coding but I could not find any. Also, I don't want to slow down the website by having the font coverted to an image. Does anyone have a solution to this ridiculous problem?

  • WPF c# Context Menu Text Alignment

    Hi, i am building a context menu for a WPF c# application and just for simplicity's sake, if i have text and then i add an image, the text is always aligned at the top of the menu items cell and i cant figure out how to align it to the center. i have tried the veticalalignment property and veticalcontentalignment property but they dont help.. any ideas?

  • Ajax progress with PHP session

    I have an app that processes images and use jQuery to display progress to the user. I done this with writing to a textfile each time and image is processed and than read this status with a setInterval. Because no images are actually written in the processing (I do it in PHP's memory) I thought a log.txt would be a solution, but I am not sure about all the fopen and fread's. Is this prone to issues? I tried also with PHP sessions, but can't seem to get it to work, I don't get why..     Hi guys, i wanted to make a double border but with no space in between and the double border should be of different color. I tried using image instead but i thought css could probably perform this job for me, i searched the net but hardly find anything close. What i wanted is total of 2px dotted border with top color of #a4a4a4 and bottom color of #474747. Any idea how i can do this instead of creating 2 divs?

    I do the following to a loading animation, to place it at the bottom center of the screen. CGPoint bottomCenter = CGPointMake((self.imageView.bounds.size.width / 2), (self.imageView.bounds.size.height * 0.8)); self.activityView.center = bottomCenter; (imageView is the full screen splash image) If the orientation is portrait, it is positioned perfectly, however turning on its side, in landscape or upside down portrait and the animation ends up miles away :S Does anyone know the correct way to position this loading animation, its for the splash screen.

  • Arrow in nav menus in CSS/JS (e.g. playframework.org)

    The navigation menu at the top of the www.playframework.org site features a small arrow pointing upward for the currently selected section (Home, Learn, Download,...). I tried to get behind the implementation they used, but I can't wrap my head around it - the resource does not show up in Chrome's Resources window, and an inspection of the elements did not show any signs of a background image, nor a JS interceptor (although I might have missed that). What in hellhound's name is going on there? :)

    I have a job to develop a website. My client wants it so that there is a header, a menu and for the content a rectangle-like box in which you can scroll the text. So that header and menu don't move but the text in the box does.     I gave a DVD ISO image and would like to use VLC's http function to create URL a user could access, after which the DVD would start up in full screen. I can make this happen by accepting the defaults vlc.exe -I http navigating to localhost:8080 and then browsing and opening the file. How would I modify this activity so that navigating to localhost:8080 instead opens a predetermined file and starts playing it?
