• What are the steps for renewing a GoDaddy domain? [on hold]

  I've read this help article on GoDaddy's website and I know must be super easy to do it. but I don't have a GoDaddy domain currently and I am trying to explain the process to a friend. I am looking for a more detailed answer than the one on GoDaddy's website, specially I would like to know how one could add or renew other services, such as DBP, while renewing the domain.   Here's a quick tip for you: During some restore operations on Microsoft SQL Server, the transaction log redo step might be taking an unusually long time. Depending somewhat on the version and edition of SQL Server you've installed, you may be able to increase performance by tinkering with the readahead performance for the redo operations. • No Sync of Files in Android U1 folder

  My Desktop (Ubuntu 12.10) and Laptop (Win 7) happily sync files. The Ubuntu One folders are perfectly in sync. I have an Asus Transformer with the Ubuntu One app installed. I can read files from the cloud, and they download to a U1 folder. If I edit the files in the Asus (say a sheet in Kingsoft) it appears they never go back to the cloud unless I physically select the file to be uploaded. Is this correct?

• install to USB without touching windows MBR

  I would like as full of an install as possible (most notably no casper, just straight on the drive) on a USB stick, but I'm not allowed to touch the current configuration of the computer I'll be running it on at all (except of course changing the boot options to boot from usb). Most guides I read are about getting a live install with persistence on USB, or (I think) still replace the MBR with GRUB. Is there any way to combine the two, and not touch the underlying system?
