  Is there a way to set up a Mac or Linux so that one can connect two mice and two keyboards with both users having independent input on the screen with their respective mice and keyboards? I'd like to set up an environment for pairwise programming, and in particular have two developers be able to concurrently edit different documents on the same computer screen, but each person having different keyboards and mice. I'd be much obliged for any input and direction.

  sometimes when i create .zip files by right clicking on a file/folder and going to Send to Compressed (zipped) folder there is a small padlock on the icon i can open it easily enough however i am wondering what it means and if it could prevent the .zip file being opened up on other computers as i do this to zip up soundtracks i rip and tag with album art in case if i need them on another computer

  I saw some answers to this question however they were fairly old (at least 2 years) and primarily for Vista or previous Windows OS versions. My question is this: Is there a program that allows a single Windows 7 computer to have multiple users (2 needed) and allow for two mice and two keyboards on two screens. What I'm trying to achieve: I'd like for the ability to play a game on one monitor while another person surfs the web, uses a program, or possibly play a different game. Any ideas?

• Win7 - DVD drive spins up but fails to read, fails write

  Running Windows 7 x64. DVD drive is a BenQ DC DQ60 ATA dvd-dl rw. Everything functions correctly in linux, and I can boot to cd/dvds, so the drive itself does work. Symptom: when I insert any CD or DVD (burned or retail), the drive spins up the disk, and (usually) displays the disk title in My Computer, but just continues to spin indefinitely. I cannot browse the disk in the drive, install from it, or read anything.

  I have a tablet PC, when I flip it to tablet position, I set the display settings to "Upside Down". Once I do this though, the cursor position when using the stylus is inverted. I'll have the stylus on the top right corner and the cursor will appear on the bottom left. What can I do to fix this?

• Drive not able to be added to Storage Spaces

  I am having difficulties trying to create a storage space. I have four Hard Drives in my computer. Samsung 128Gb SSD x2 Caviar Green 2TB Older 320 Gb drive I want to merge the two last ones. The problem is, that the 2TB drive does not show up in the configuration screen.: I formatted both hard drives so that can't be it. Any help is appreciated. Is there any method to (or tool that will) tell me why Apache is denying access?   I have Windows 7 RTM, Office 2007 SP1, and a computer with English and Hebrew languages installed. In most programs (e.g. notepad), left ALT-SHIFT switches from Hebrew to English and vice versa. In word, it also usually works, but sometimes pressing left ALT-SHIFT just won't do anything. Is this a bug in Windows ? Word?

  The HP DL380 G7 has 3 SAS disks in RAID 5 configuration. I need to change that server to another task and instead of make a clean install on the HP DL380 G6 can i just swap the 3 disks from HP DL380 G7 to the HP DL380 G6? I expect some driver issues maybe on the OS itself because the processor is different. They both use Smart Array P410i, if i power down the machines swap the disk by the same order will the RAID 5 configuration remain and the OS will boot?

• Can I prevent tv-out from disconnecting when monitor sleeps?

I like to put on music on my TV, but the problem is when my monitor goes to sleep back in my office, it switches off the hdmi connection completely and the audio goes back to my PC. In the process I removed the saved credentials, which are just a default local login to the VM.   I am attempting to confirm via RSoP or GPResult that the correct settings for "\Computer Configuration\Windows Settings\Security Settings\Account Policies\Kerberos Policy" are being applied, however the "Kerberos Policy" node is missing from the treeview / report. These settings are set in the "Default Domain Controllers Policy" which is linked in the "Domain Controllers" OU. Should "Kerberos Policy" appear at all? If not, how can I confirm the correct settings are being applied?

  I am looking for a laptop charger that requires no power outlet but instead utilizes a usb port of another computer to charge my laptop. That is, I am seeking a usb-to-laptop port charger, NOT power outlet-to-laptop's usb charger. Is such a product even possible? I am guessing no since the usb port would not be able to supply enough electricity to power the laptop, even to maintain the battery (not charge it).
