    i have a problem in inserting the listbox value into mysql database in vb 2008 i.e if i select a video file i.e D:\videos\video1.mpg and add a msgbox() event before inserting into data base it shows the exact path i.e D:\videos\video1.mpg but when i check my database it shows me as D:videosvideo1.mpg how can i solve that

    I have a list of installed software, obtained from WMI class select * from Win32_Product. I'd like to deny execution rights for some users on certain software like so: find the path to installed software recursively remove execution rights I find the path to installed software from Win32_Product InstallLocation column. But the PROBLEM is that not all rows in Win32_Product have a value for InstallLocation. What can I do to overcome this? Is there somewhere in registry where I can find this path?

    Actually i' am using MyTimeStampField-TRUNC(MyTimeStampField) to extract the time part from an timestamp column in Oracle. SELECT CURRENT_TIMESTAMP-TRUNC(CURRENT_TIMESTAMP) FROM DUAL this return +00 13:12:07.100729 this work ok for me, to extract the time part from an timestamp field, but i' m wondering if exist a better way (may be using an built-in function of ORACLE) to do this?     I'm trying to select the id of a textArea when it's focused in <s:TextArea id="textarea1" focusIn="selectId(event)" /> selectId(event){ event.target.id; } Problem is TextArea is made up of RichEditableText so target doesn't actually refer to TextArea. I've tried event.target.parent.id but still not getting there. Anyone knows how to get to the bottom of this?

    This is my current query - its not getting the required result. I want it do display all of the "resources" even if they dont have a connection.     Hi All I've only just started using WPF. (I'm a WinForms guy), and from what I can see, trying to simply drag an image onto the Window is a huge PAIN. There seems to be no way where you can just select an option to tell it what picture to put indide the image control. I've seen so many sites within the last 10 minutes with atleast 10lines of code just to insert animage into a window. Is there an easier way?

I want to have certain functions numbered such as function1 function2 (1) function3 function4 (2) How do you make a sign to evaluate an integral? I know how to do brackets, but is it possible to only make one straight light to the right of the function with the bounds of integration? I can't figure out how to do that.

    So I have this schedule visit page with two groups. Group 1 contains a list of: Cases. Group 2 contains a list of: Parties. each group has a checkboxes next to its item for the user to select. My Issue when i select a case and/or a party and save -- then go to the edit page of the visit i just saved and only my selected case is checked and the party i selected is not checked. After debugging i realized that the partyId is not being saved properly during the create page and thus not showing as selected or saved on the edit page. I really need help on how to properly save the party selected and setting for it a value from the parameter. Here is my code of what i have for saving a case and would like to know how to properly save with party.     I have this mysql query: SELECT * FROM Customer c JOIN eHRDemographic ehD ON ehD.CxID = c.CustomerID JOIN CustPrimaryWeight cpW ON cpW.CxID = c.CustomerID WHERE c.CustomerID =22703 GROUP BY c.CustomerID ORDER BY cpW.CustPrimaryWeightID DESC This doesn't really work correctly as the CustPrimaryWeight table has multiple enteries and it's simply joining the first entry and not the more recent one as the ORDER statement doesn't seem to do anything. Any ideas?
