• How do I output a webpage that contains MathML to PDF?

  My web application displays MathML embedded in HTML using the MathPlayer plugin. I need to output to PDF. I have PDF components (Dynamic PDF, ABCpdf), but they don't know how to parse the MathML, of course. Is there a library that can help me translate the MathML to an image or something that I can feed to the PDF components on the fly in the web application?

• The same class file in multiple .jar files. How bad is this?

  I have a library that writes data in either a text or binary format. It has the following three components: common data structures text writer (depends on 1) binary writer (depends on 1) The obvious way to distribute this is as 3 .jar files, so that users can include only what they need. However, the "common data structures" component is really just two small classes so I'm considering creating only two .jar files and including the common .class files in both. My question: What are the potential problems with doing this?

For instance, say I want a random number between 1-5, with the probability being: 1: Comes up 20% of the time 2: Comes up 10% of the time 3: Comes up 40% of the time 4: Comes up 25% of the time 5: Comes up 5% of the time Is there anything in the standard library, or other libraries out there that would do this? Alternatively, is there an efficient way to do this myself?

  I am actually using the pChart PHP library for generate graphs. I wanna know if it's possible to give a different line format for a graph with multiple series. I need a line with for example 3px of width but other line with 1px of width. Is that possible? • C++ Linker Error SDL Image - could not read symbols

  Hi, I'm trying to use the SDL_Image library and I've added the .so to the link libraries list for my project (I'm using Code::Blocks, by the way). After doing this, when I go to compile, I get this error: Linking console executable: bin/Debug/ttfx /usr/lib32/libSDL_image-1.2.so: could not read symbols: File in wrong format What does this mean and how can I get it working? • flash going crazy when adding two functions

  I'm adding these two functions to a parent class: public function get topShot():ShotGlass { return _topShot; } public function get bottomShot():ShotGlass { return _bottomShot; } The calls is called BaseEntry and is a subclass of MovieClip. Once I add these two functions, I get "The class 'class' must subclass 'flash.display.MovieClip' since it is linked to a library symbol of that type" on all the subclasses. What's going on?

  In GMP library, _mp_size holds the number of limbs of an integer.. we can create integers of size 1 limb(32bits),2 limbs(64bits),3 limbs(96bits)...so on. using mpz_init or mpz_random functions.. cant we create an integer variable of size 8bit or 16 bit.. other than multiples of 32 bit size ??? can you code for that?? thank you ..

  I'm trying to use CMake to build a program relying on blas, I'm detecting blas using : include (${CMAKE_ROOT}/Modules/FindBLAS.cmake) The problem is, FindBLAS require a fortran compiler and complain with -- Looking for BLAS... - NOT found (Fortran not enabled) As blas is already installed on my machine (ATLAS Blas), and gfortran is also installed, how can I enable Fortran, or is there a workaround to find the blas library for C?
