    I've following code: int column_width = 100; long indx1 = alist-InsertColumn(0, L"User Name", wxLIST_FORMAT_LEFT, column_width); long indx2 = alist-InsertColumn(1, L"User Id", wxLIST_FORMAT_LEFT, column_width); long itemIndex1 = alist-InsertItem(indx1, L"John Smith", -1); alist-SetItem(indx1, 1, L"jsmith"); I expect to see two columns with User Name and User Id as heading with "My Name" and "My Id" as values on the first row.   • MSI not running the current version of the code in .NET Setup project.

    I'm not sure what happened, but my installer is in a weird state--when I install my MSI, it doesn't seem to be running the current version of the code (I'm using Custom Actions). I verified it by placing some MessageBox.Shows and sure enough, they are not popping up. It's possible I may have had a few unsuccessful installs previously which may have put the installer in a bad state...but how do I go about resolving this? Thanks...

  • How to make OSX application that just runs opens some file type and runs arbitrary Ruby code?

    It's trivial to make a program executable from shell - just put #!/usr/bin/ruby on top, chmod +x it and done. Unfortunately OSX won't let me associate file type with such scripts - it requires its .apps instead. This sort of distinction doesn't seem to exist on other operating systems. What's the simplest way of making such .app, which would merely execute some arbitrary Ruby code?

I have a table Recipients in MySQL structured like this: id | email | status 1 foo@bar S 2 bar@baz S 3 abc@def R 4 sta@cko B I need to convert the data into the following XML, depending on the status field. For example: <Recipients> <RecipientsSent> <!-- Have the 'S' status --> <recipient>foo@bar</recipient> <recipient>bar@baz</recipient> </RecipientsSent> <RecipientsRegexError> <recipient>abc@def</recipient> </RecipientsRegexError> <RecipientsBlocked> <recipient>sta@cko</recipient> </RecipientsBlocked> </Recipients> I have this PHP code to implement this ($recipients contains an associative array of the db table): <Recipients> <RecipientsSent> <?php foreach ($recipients as $recipient): if ($recipient['status'] == 'S'): echo "<recipient>" . $recipient['email'] . "</recipient>"; endif; endforeach; ?> </RecipientsSent> <RecipientsRegexError> <?php foreach ($recipients as $recipient): if ($recipient['status'] == 'R'): echo "<recipient>" . $recipient['email'] . "</recipient>"; endif; endforeach; ?> </RecipientsRegexError> <?php /** same loop for the B status */ ?> </Recipients> So, this means that if I have 1000 entries in the table and 4 different status' that can be checked, it means that there will be 4 loops, each one executing 1000 times. How can this be done in a more efficient manner? I thought about fetching four different sets from the database, meaning 4 different queries, would that be more efficient? I'm thinking it could be done with one loop but but I can't come up with a solution. Any way this could be done with only one loop?

Can I dynamically update this picture.jpeg from code? i.e. I want to use another picture to replace this picture in the drawable directory dynamically. If I can, what path should I use to access the picture? Should I use "res/drawable/picture.jpeg"? Thanks.

I've got two portions that are in need of it: An old-school client/server api (No, not web based, that's the problem) An old cgi application that it integrates with the client and server.
