  • <jaxrs:client> not getting autowired

    - by himangshu
    I am trying to build a restful client using jaxrs:client as defined in http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/cxf/trunk/systests/jaxrs/src/test/resources/jaxrs_soap_rest/WEB-INF/beans.xml In my test class I am getting org.springframework.beans.factory.BeanCreationException: Error creating bean with name 'com.abc.service.ExportServiceTest': Injection of autowired dependencies failed; nested exception is org.springframework.beans.factory.BeanCreationException: Could not autowire field: private com.bankbazaar.service.ExportService com.abc.service.ExportServiceTest.exportClient; nested exception is org.springframework.beans.factory.NoSuchBeanDefinitionException: No matching bean of type [com.abc.service.ExportService] found for dependency: expected at least 1 bean which qualifies as autowire candidate for this dependency. Dependency annotations: {@org.springframework.beans.factory.annotation.Autowired(required=true), @org.springframework.beans.factory.annotation.Qualifier(value=exportClient)} this is my spring config However exportClient=(ExportService)applicationContext.getBean("exportClient"); this works. Thanks Himangshu

  • Does a static object within a function introduce a potential race condition?

    - by Jeremy Friesner
    I'm curious about the following code: class MyClass { public: MyClass() : _myArray(new int[1024]) {} ~MyClass() {delete [] _myArray;} private: int * _myArray; }; // This function may be called by different threads in an unsynchronized manner void MyFunction() { static const MyClass _myClassObject; [...] } Is there a possible race condition in the above code? Specifically, is the compiler likely to generate code equivalent to the following, "behind the scenes"? void MyFunction() { static bool _myClassObjectInitialized = false; if (_myClassObjectInitialized == false) { _myClassObjectInitialized = true; _myClassObject.MyClass(); // call constructor to set up object } [...] } ... in which case, if two threads were to call MyFunction() nearly-simultaneously, then _myArray might get allocated twice, causing a memory leak? Or is this handled correctly somehow?

  • Android: How to close a cursor that returns from Class to Activity

    - by Daniel
    I have: Accounts.java public class Accounts{ private SQLiteDatabase dbConfig; public Cursor list(Context context, String db, String where, String order) { DBHelper dbHelper = new DBHelper(context, db); dbConfig = dbHelper.getReadableDatabase(); Cursor c = dbConfig.query("accounts", new String[]{ "iId","sName"}, where, null, null, null, order); return c; } } and: MainActivity.java Accounts account = new Accounts(); Cursor cursor = account.list(getApplicationContext(), globalDB, null, null); while (cursor.moveToNext()) { int id = cursor.getInt(0); String name = cursor.getString(1); } cursor.close(); Running my application I get some logcat messages like: close() was never explicitly called on database... What is the best way to prevent it? How can I close a Cursor that returns from other class? Thanks

  • LinkDemand error on webserver when using TrackSource

    - by robertpnl
    Hi, On a webserver (shared hosting provider) I published a website with a ADO.Net Framework model in use with MySql Connector 6.3.1. When I request a page, a Security Exception will be happen with this error messages: "LinkDemand The type of the first permission that failed was: System.Security.Permissions.SecurityPermission The Zone of the assembly that failed was: MyComputer ". This exception raised when code collect the listeners of a tracksource: public class MySqlTrace { private static TraceSource source = new TraceSource("mysql"); static MySqlTrace() { foreach (TraceListener listener in source.Listeners) // <-- Exception throw here { // ... } } } The web.config doesn't have any trace data or system.diagnostics. My question is, why will a get a LinkDemand security exception during collecting the source listeners. What can maybe be wrong in here?

  • How do I track a branch of another repository on the same machine?

    - by Daniel Stutzbach
    I have two private repositories on one machine. Let's call them repo-A and repo-B, which are the directories ~/repo-A and ~/repo-B, respectively. repo-A has two relevant branches: master and live. I'd like to set up repo-B to track repo-A's live branch, so that git pull will pull any updates from repo-A's live branch into repo-B's master branch. Right now, I have the following in repo-B's .git/config: [remote "origin"] url = /home/stutzbach/repo-A/ fetch = +refs/heads/live:refs/remotes/origin/live [branch "master"] remote = origin merge = refs/heads/master However, when I run git pull, it seems to pull from repo-A's master branch. Obviously, I don't have it set up right. What's the right way?

  • Twisted Spread: How to authenticate each RPC with digital signature

    - by kronat
    I have remote objects which talk each others with RPCs, using Twisted Spread. I want that objects authenticate messages, before using them, with digital signatures, but I don't know where to start to implement this. In my head, the Root object must have a public/private key pair, and the Client too. When a message is sent, a digital signature of the hash is added, and when it is received, the signature is checked. Is the Protocol part where I need to add these adds and checks? Thank you

  • iPhone c++ development / compiler on a non-Mac PC? (Windows? Linux?)

    - by Ehrann Mehdan
    According to the (in)famous iPhone Developer Program License Agreement change 3.3.1 — Applications may only use Documented APIs in the manner prescribed by Apple and must not use or call any private APIs. Applications must be originally written in Objective-C, C, C++, or JavaScript as executed by the iPhone OS WebKit engine, and only code written in C, C++, and Objective-C may compile and directly link against the Documented APIs (e.g., Applications that link to Documented APIs through an intermediary translation or compatibility layer or tool are prohibited). So it is allowed to develop iPhone apps using C++ My questions Is there a compiler / IDE for developing iPhone apps using C++? Is that compiler / IDE available on non Mac environments? (Windows? Linux?) If not, why? I mean an eclipse C++ plugin for iPhone development will be quite popular, or is there already any serious attempt to do that?

  • WPF: Reset the positions of scatterviewitems?

    - by sofri
    Hi, I have a scatterview with some items in it which I place with Orientation und Center. Now I want to have the possibility to reset the positions of the scatterviewitems after scaling, rotating and moving them, while the program is running. At the moment I do it this way: private void Reset_ContactTapGesture(object sender, Microsoft.Surface.Presentation.ContactEventArgs e) { item1.Center = new Point(150,150); item1.Orientation = 15; item1.Width = 100; item1.Height = 150; } Is there a better way to do it?

  • mysql_close(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL-Link resource

    - by Illes Peter
    Here's what I'm trying to do: I've got a db.php file that does all the db manipulation. It has 2 static methods, connect and deconnect. In my other file i simply use db::connect() and db::deconnect(). The mysql_close($con) in the deconnect method just doesn't know who $con is. Since I don't want to instantiate my class static is the only way to go. Declaring 'private $con' in class db doesn't seem to have an effect. Any ideas? class db { public static function connect() { $dbData = parse_ini_file($_SERVER['DOCUMENT_ROOT'].'/config.ini'); $con = mysql_connect($dbData['host'],$dbData['user'],$dbData['pass']); $db = mysql_select_db($dbData['db']); if ((!$con) || (!$db)) return 0; else return 1; } public static function deconnect() { mysql_close($con); } }

  • Circular reference problem Singleton

    - by Ismail
    I'm trying to creating a Singleton class like below where MyRepository lies in separate DAL project. It's causing me a circular reference problem because GetMySingleTon() method returns MySingleTon class and needs its access. Same way I need MyRepository access in constructor of MySingleTon class. public class MySingleTon { static MySingleTon() { if (Instance == null) { MyRepository rep = new MyRepository(); Instance = rep.GetMySingleTon(); } } public static MySingleTon Instance { get; private set; } public string prop1 { get; set; } public string prop2 { get; set; } }

  • How to make a Scala Applet whose Applet class is a singleton?

    - by Jamie
    Hi, I don't know if a solution exists but it would be highly desirable. I'm making a Scala Applet, and I want the main Applet class to be a singleton so it can be accessed elsewhere in the applet, sort of like: object App extends Applet { def init { // do init here } } Instead I have to make the App class a normal instantiatable class otherwise it complains because the contructor is private. So the ugly hack I have is to go: object A { var pp: App = null } class App extends Applet { A.pp = this def init { // do init here } } I really hate this, and is one of the reasons I don't like making applets in Scala right now. Any better solution? It would be nice...

  • C++ -- How can we call "delete this; " in a const-member function?

    - by q0987
    Hello all, I saw the code snippet as follows: class UPNumber { public: UPNumber(); UPNumber(int initValue); ... // pseudo-destructor (a const member function, because // even const objects may be destroyed) void destroy() const { delete this; } // why this line is correct??? ... private: ~UPNumber(); }; First, I am sure that above class definition is correct. Here is my question, why we can define the function 'destroy' as above? The reason being asking is that why we can modify 'this' in a const-member function? Thank you

  • Using Assert to compare two objects

    - by baron
    Hi everyone, Writing test cases for my project, one test I need is to test deletion. This may not exactly be the right way to go about it, but I've stumbled upon something which isn't making sense to me. Code is like this: [Test] private void DeleteFruit() { BuildTestData(); var f1 = new Fruit("Banana",1,1.5); var f2 = new Fruit("Apple",1,1.5); fm.DeleteFruit(f1,listOfFruit); Assert.That(listOfFruit[1] == f2); } Now the fruit object I create line 5 is the object that I know should be in that position (with this specific dataset) after f1 is deleted. Also if I sit and debug, and manually compare objects listOfFruit[1] and f2 they are the same. But that Assert line fails. What gives?

  • WPF Binding not updating when binded object is updated

    - by Chris Klepeis
    I'm trying to bind to a custom control like so: <my:GanttChartTaskListView Name="ganttChartTaskListView1" ItemsSource="{Binding Source={x:Static local:TaskCollection.taskList}}" /> In my WPF Window constructor I add add an item to my taskList, when it loads I can see that item in my custom control, however, when I subsequently add items it does not update. I tried setting Mode=TwoWay, however, then it says the "Path" is required and I'm not familiar with binding like that (this is new to me). Here is my TaskCollection class: namespace ProjectManager { public static class TaskCollection { private static List<TaskItem> _taskList = new List<TaskItem>(); public static List<TaskItem> taskList { get {return _taskList; } set { _taskList = value; } } } } Any ideas? Is there a better / easier way to do this?

  • Is there a more correct type for passing in the file path and file name to a method

    - by Rihan Meij
    Hi What I mean by this question is, when you need to store or pass a URL around, using a string is probably a bad practice, and a better approach would be to use a URI type. However it is so easy to make complex things more complex and bloated. So if I am going to be writing to a file on disk, do I pass it a string, as the file name and file path, or is there a better type that will be better suited to the requirement? This code seems to be clunky, and error prone? I would also need to do a whole bit of checking if it is a valid file name, if the string contains data and the list goes on. private void SaveFile(string fileNameAndPath) { //The normal stuff to save the file }

  • Cast Object to JTable?

    - by Chris
    I am trying to implement a ListSelectionListener for some of my JTables. Simply (at the moment) the ListSelectionListener is supposed to simply return the text of the cell that was selected. My program design has several JTables and I would like to have one ListSelectionListener work for them all. In the valueChanged event of the ListSelectionListener I thought it was possible to do something like: private class SelectionHandler implements ListSelectionListener { public void valueChanged(ListSelectionEvent e) { JTable table = (JTable)e.getSource(); String data = (String) table.getValueAt(table.getSelectedRow(), 0); // Print data } } But when I do this I a ClassCastException error. Is there a way to do something like this? One solution I thought of was to compare the source of the event (e.getSource()) to all my JTables to see if they were equivalent (big if block) and then just calling .getValueAt inside that block but that would making the code in the future difficult if tables were to be added or removed.

  • Howto check if a object is connected to another in hibernate

    - by codevourer
    Imagine two domain object classes, A and B. A has a bidirectional one-to-many relationship to B. A is related to thousands of B. The relations must be unique, it's not possible to have a duplicate. To check if an instance of B is already connected to a given instance of A, we could perform an easy INNER JOIN but this will only ensure the already persisted relations. What about the current transient relations? class A { @OneToMany private List<B> listOfB; } If we access the listOfB and perform a check of contains() this will fetch all the connected instances of B lazy from the datasource. I only want to validate them by their primary-key. Is there an easy solution where I can do things like "Does this instance of A is connected with this instance of B?" Without loading all these data into memory and perform a based on collections?

  • Generalised XML Serialization

    - by Tom W
    I apologise for asking a question that's probably been asked hundreds of times before, but I don't seem to be able to find an answer in the archives; probably because my question is too basic. I know that XML Serialization by default only touches public members and properties. Properties very often mask a private variable; particularly if they're readonly. Serializing these is fine; the value that the instance exposes to the world is what goes into the XML. But if Deserialization of the same data can't put the value back where it belongs, what's the point of doing it? Is there something I'm missing about how XML Serialization is normally used for classes with masking properties? Surely it can't be that the only answer is explicitly implementing Read/WriteXML - because that's more effort than it's worth!

  • Using True and False to select items to print

    - by user1753915
    I have a workbook that contains rows of information that needs to printed to a seperate worksheet in excel. I am trying to utilize a checkbox to indicate which items need to print and which items need to be skipped. The checkbox is located in column "A" and once checked and the macro ran, I want it to pick up the data in each cell of that particular row, transfer it a seperate worksheet (form), prompt and save the worksheet to pdf, clear the form, and then return to the main worksheet to continue until all rows have been checked. However, right now, my code is only looping through the very first "TRUE" statement and not continuing to the rest. Here is the code: Private Sub CommandButton1_Click() On Error GoTo ErrHandler: Dim i As Integer For i = 1 To 10 If ActiveSheet.OLEObjects("CheckBox" & i).Object.Value = False Then Else If ActiveSheet.OLEObjects("CheckBox" & i).Object.Value = True Then Call PrintWO Else End If Do Until ActiveSheet.OLEObjects("CheckBox" & i).Object.Value = 10 MsgBox "Nothing Selected to Print" Exit Do Exit Sub Loop End If Next i ErrHandler: End Sub

  • Managing StringBuilder Resources in C#

    - by Jim Fell
    Hello. My C# (.NET 2.0) application has a StringBuilder variable with a capacity of 2.5MB. Obviously, I do not want to copy such a large buffer to a larger buffer space every time it fills. By that point, there is so much data in the buffer anyways, removing the older data is a viable option. Can anyone see any obvious problems with how I'm doing this (i.e. am I introducing more performance problems than I'm solving), or does it look okay? tText_c = new StringBuilder(2500000, 2500000); private void AppendToText(string text) { if (tText_c.Length * 100 / tText_c.Capacity > 95) { tText_c.Remove(0, tText_c.Length / 2); } tText_c.Append(text); } Thanks.

  • Creating Discoverable Network Resources (.NET)

    - by Ady
    Is it possible to create a discoverable network resource in .NET? What I would like to acheive is a means of auto discovery for applications that run on a private network. The architecture will be similar to a client / server application, however the server could be any computer on the network. While the client would not be aware of the specific IP address that would be the server. I assume I would need some form of multicast, however not having used multicasting before I don't even know where to start. I guess when the client starts up it would broadcast an "is anyone there" message. Then each server could respond with details of their IP for future communication. Many Thanks, Ady

  • Why can't I inject value null with Ninjects ConstructorArgument?

    - by stiank81
    When using Ninjects ConstructorArgument you can specify the exact value to inject to specific parameters. Why can't this value be null, or how can I make it work? Maybe it's not something you'd like to do, but I want to use it in my unit tests.. Example: public class Ninja { private readonly IWeapon _weapon; public Ninja(IWeapon weapon) { _weapon = weapon; } } public void SomeFunction() { var kernel = new StandardKernel(); var ninja = kernel.Get<Ninja>(new ConstructorArgument("weapon", null)); }

  • Final enum in Thread's run() method

  • Delete MSMQ Queue During Uninstall

    - by Todd Kobus
    Is it possible to delete a private message queue that was created by the service user? During uninstallation, we would like to clean up any message queues created by our application. For security purposes, access to these queues has been restricted to the current user (ServiceUser). During uninstall, we have admin privileges, but still get an access denied MessageQueueException when we attempt to delete the queue or modify the privs on the queue. Here is the cleanup code: public void DeleteAppQueues() { List<string> trash = new List<string>(); var machineQueues = MessageQueue.GetPrivateQueuesByMachine("."); foreach (var q in machineQueues) { if (IsAppQueue(q.QueueName)) { trash.Add(".\\" + q.QueueName); } q.Dispose(); } foreach (var queueName in trash) { try { using (MessageQueue delQueue = new MessageQueue(queueName)) { delQueue.SetPermissions("Everyone", MessageQueueAccessRights.FullControl, AccessControlEntryType.Allow); } MessageQueue.Delete(queueName); } catch (MessageQueueException ex) { // ex.Message is "Access to Message Queuing system is denied." } } }
