  • C# : Error while accessing Active Directory

    - by Mohsan
    hi. i am facing some problems in accessing Active Directory from my winform app. what I want is to create a user and query user from Active Directory. here is code snippet for find user public bool FindUser(string username) { using (PrincipalContext context = new PrincipalContext(ContextType.Domain, this.domainName, this.DomainUserName, this.DomainPassword)) { UserPrincipal user = UserPrincipal.FindByIdentity(context, username); return (user != null) ? true : false; } } i am unable to create object of PrincipalContext based on given arguments. i am getting this exception "{"The server could not be contacted."}" and inner exception states that "{"The LDAP server is unavailable."}" where as domain is running. i can ping to it and can also connect to this domain. any suggestion about these exceptions?

  • SSRS - Unable to determine if the owner of job has server access [SQLSTATE 42000] (Error 15404))

    - by John DaCosta
    SQL Server Reporting Services, in SSRS it seems like Schedules never fire, however a look at the SQL Agent reveals a permission issue related to not being able to resolve a user account. Seems SQL Agent does not rely on caching or whatever voodoo Windows magically works. link text Fix is listed here... edit -- Above is the fix I used to workaround this issue, has any one found any other work arounds or resolutions to this issue? It seems that by default the SSRS Generated Schedules are run as this phantom user account. How do I change this default? Is SSRS creating the jobs as the user the service runs as? Thanks Remus

  • SOAP PHP Parsing Error?

    - by Josh
    I'm communicating with a SOAP service created with EJB -- it intermittently fails, and I've found a case where I can reliably reproduce. I'm getting a funky ass SOAP fault that says "looks like we got not XML," however, when retrieving the last response I get what is listed below (and what looks like valid XML to me). Any thoughts? • Android - How to Use SQLiteDatabase.open?

    - by Edwin Lee
    Hi all, i'm trying to use SQLiteDatabase.openDatabase( "/data/data/edwin11.myapp/databases/myapp.db", null, (SQLiteDatabase.CREATE_IF_NECESSARY | SQLiteDatabase.NO_LOCALIZED_COLLATORS)); to create/open a database instead of making use of the SQLiteOpenHelper (because i want to pass in the flag SQLiteDatabase.NO_LOCALIZED_COLLATORS. However, i am getting this exception for that line of code: 04-18 09:50:03.585: ERROR/Database(3471): sqlite3_open_v2("/data/data/edwin11.myapp/databases/myapp.db", &handle, 6, NULL) failed 04-18 09:50:03.665: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(3471): java.lang.RuntimeException: An error occured while executing doInBackground() 04-18 09:50:03.665: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(3471): at android.os.AsyncTask$3.done(AsyncTask.java:200) 04-18 09:50:03.665: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(3471): at java.util.concurrent.FutureTask$Sync.innerSetException(FutureTask.java:234) 04-18 09:50:03.665: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(3471): at java.util.concurrent.FutureTask$Sync.innerRun(FutureTask.java:258) 04-18 09:50:03.665: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(3471): at java.util.concurrent.FutureTask.run(FutureTask.java:122) 04-18 09:50:03.665: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(3471): at java.util.concurrent.ThreadPoolExecutor$Worker.runTask(ThreadPoolExecutor.java:648) 04-18 09:50:03.665: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(3471): at java.util.concurrent.ThreadPoolExecutor$Worker.run(ThreadPoolExecutor.java:673) 04-18 09:50:03.665: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(3471): at java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:1060) 04-18 09:50:03.665: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(3471): Caused by: android.database.sqlite.SQLiteException: unable to open database file 04-18 09:50:03.665: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(3471): at android.database.sqlite.SQLiteDatabase.dbopen(Native Method) 04-18 09:50:03.665: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(3471): at android.database.sqlite.SQLiteDatabase.<init>(SQLiteDatabase.java:1584) 04-18 09:50:03.665: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(3471): at android.database.sqlite.SQLiteDatabase.openDatabase(SQLiteDatabase.java:638) ... Doing some testing just before that line of code (using File.isExists) shows that the file /data/data/edwin11.myapp/databases/myapp.db does not exist. Would that be the cause of the error? (Or am i just using SQLiteDatabase.openDatabase the wrong way?) Would it help if i create the file beforehand? (Shouldn't that be taken care of by the SQLiteDatabase.CREATE_IF_NECESSARY flag that i passed in?) If creating the file manually is the way to go, is it just an empty file, or do i have to write something to it? Thanks and Regards.

  • Encrypt/Decrypt ECB/PKS5/Blowfish between AS3Crypto & Javax.Crypto fails with padding error

    - by BlueDude
    I have a secret key that was sent to me as a file so I can encrypt some xml data using Blowfish. How do I access the key so that I can use it with AS3Crypto? I assume I need to Embed it using the [Embed] meta tag. It's mimeType="application/octet-stream" but I'm not sure if thats right. How do I embed, then reference this file as the secret key? The xmls that I'm encrypting cannot be decrypted on the Java side. Each attempt fails with this exception: javax.crypto.BadPaddingException: Given final block not properly padded. As a bonus, if anyone has experience using the lib to work with the Java implementation and knows the ideal mode/padding/IV to use that would be awesome. Thanks! //keyFile is an embedded asset. I was given a file to use as the key var kdata:ByteArray = new keyFile() as ByteArray; //Convert orderXML to Base64 var orderData:ByteArray = Base64.decodeToByteArray(String(orderXML)); //Cipher name var cname:String = "simple-blowfish-ecb"; var pad:IPad = new PKCS5; var mode:ICipher = Crypto.getCipher(cname, kdata, pad); //not sure if this is necessary. seems to be also set in mode pad.setBlockSize(mode.getBlockSize()); mode.encrypt(orderData); var transmitXML:String = Base64.encodeByteArray(orderData); //DEBUG: Output to TextArea storePanel.statusBox.text += "\n--TRANSMIT--\n"+transmitXML;

  • VB.NET: How to know time for which system is idle?

    - by Daredev
    I'm making an application in which I'm implementing auto-monitor turn off when system is idle, i.e. when user is not interacting with the system. I found a link: http://www.codeproject.com/KB/system/SystemIdleTimerComponent.aspx it does provides the componenent to know when system is idle. But when I include: Public WM_SYSCOMMAND As Integer = &H112 Public SC_MONITORPOWER As Integer = &Hf170 <DllImport("user32.dll")> _ Private Shared Function SendMessage(hWnd As Integer, hMsg As Integer, wParam As Integer, lParam As Integer) As Integer End Function Private Sub button1_Click(sender As Object, e As System.EventArgs) SendMessage(Me.Handle.ToInt32(), WM_SYSCOMMAND, SC_MONITORPOWER, 2) End Sub It shows this error: Cross-thread operation not valid: Control 'Form1' accessed from a thread other than the thread it was created on.

  • Perl : get substring which matches regex error

    - by Michael Mao
    I am very new to Perl, so please bear with my simple question: Here is the sample output: Most successful agents in the Emarket climate are (in order of success): 1. agent10896761 ($-8008) 2. flightsandroomsonly ($-10102) 3. agent10479475hv ($-10663) Most successful agents in the Emarket climate are (in order of success): 1. agent10896761 ($-7142) 2. agent10479475hv ($-8982) 3. flightsandroomsonly ($-9124) I am interested only in agent names as well as their corresponding balances, so I am hoping to get the following output: agent10896761 -8008 flightsandroomsonly -10102 agent10479475hv -10663 agent10896761 -7142 agent10479475hv -8982 flightsandroomsonly -9124 For later processes. This is the code I've got so far: #!/usr/bin/perl -w open(MYINPUTFILE, $ARGV[0]); while(<MYINPUTFILE>) { my($line) = $_; chomp($line); # regex match test if($line =~ m/agent10479475/) { if($line =~ m/($-[0-9]+)/) { print "$1\n"; } } if($line =~ m/flightsandroomsonly/) { print "$line\n"; } } The second regex match has nothing wrong, 'cause that is printing out the whole line. However, for the first regex match, I've got some other output such like: $ ./compareResults.pl 3.txt 2. flightsandroomsonly ($-10102) 0479475 0479475 3. flightsandroomsonly ($-9124) 1. flightsandroomsonly ($-8053) 0479475 1. flightsandroomsonly ($-6126) 0479475 If I "escape" the braces like this if($line =~ m/\($-[0-9]+\)/) { print "$1\n"; } Then there is never a match for the first regex... So I'm stuck with a problem of making that particular regex work. Any hints for this? Many thanks in advance.

  • C++ linking error when linking postgresql

    - by Brent Rowswell
    When compiling my code I run into an issue as follows: io.cpp:21: undefined reference to `PQconnectdb' as well as all other instances of missing postgres function calls occurring in my code. Obviously this is a linking problem, I'm just not sure what the link issue is. I'm compiling with the following: mpiCC -c -O2 -g -Wall -Werror -I /usr/include/postgresql/ decisioning_mpi.cpp g++ -c -O2 -g -Wall -Werror -I /usr/include/postgresql/ io.cpp g++ -c -O2 -g -Wall -Werror -I /usr/include/postgresql/ calculations.cpp g++ -c -O2 -g -Wall -Werror -I /usr/include/postgresql/ rules.cpp g++ -c -O2 -g -Wall -Werror -I /usr/include/postgresql/ Instrument.cpp g++ -c -O2 -g -Wall -Werror -I /usr/include/postgresql/ Backtest_Parameter_CPO.cpp g++ -c -O2 -g -Wall -Werror -I /usr/include/postgresql/ Backtest_Trade_CPO.cpp g++ -c -O2 -g -Wall -Werror -I /usr/include/postgresql/ Data_Bar.cpp mpiCC -o decisioning_mpi -O2 -g -Wall -Werror -L/usr/lib -lm -lpq decisioning_mpi.o io.o calculations.o rules.o Instrument.o Backtest_Parameter_CPO.o Backtest_Trade_CPO.o Data_Bar.o It should be noted that this is the correct directory for libpq-fe.h and that I'm linking pq, so I'm not exactly sure why the postgres functions aren't linking correctly. I'm running Ubuntu 12.04 and installed psql (PostgreSQL) 9.1.6 from synaptic. As well I'll short circuit this, I am using #include "libpq-fe.h". Any ideas on how I can get this linking issue resolved?

  • What is private bytes, virtual bytes, working set?

    - by Devil Jin
    I am using perfmon windows utility to debug memory leak in a process. Perfmon explaination: Working Set- Working Set is the current size, in bytes, of the Working Set of this process. The Working Set is the set of memory pages touched recently by the threads in the process. If free memory in the computer is above a threshold, pages are left in the Working Set of a process even if they are not in use. When free memory falls below a threshold, pages are trimmed from Working Sets. If they are needed they will then be soft-faulted back into the Working Set before leaving main memory. Virtual Bytes- Virtual Bytes is the current size, in bytes, of the virtual address space the process is using. Use of virtual address space does not necessarily imply corresponding use of either disk or main memory pages. Virtual space is finite, and the process can limit its ability to load libraries. Private Bytes- Private Bytes is the current size, in bytes, of memory that this process has allocated that cannot be shared with other processes. Q1. Is it the private byte should I measure to be sure if the process is having any leak as it does not involve any shared libraries and any leak if happening will be coming from the process itself? Q2. What is the total memory consumed by the process? Is it the Virtual byte size? or Is it the sum of Virtual Bytes and Working Set Q3. Is there any relation between private bytes, working set and virtual bytes. Q4. Any tool which gives a better idea memory information?

  • No properties file found Error for ReloadableResourceBundleMessageSource

    - by samspot
    I'm trying to use a reloadable spring resource bundle but spring cannot find the file. I've tried tons of different paths, but can't get it to work anywhere. In the code below you'll see that i load both the spring bundle and the regular one from the same path variable but only one works. I've been banging my head against this for far too long. Anybody have any ideas? logfile INFO 2010-04-28 11:38:31,805 [main] org.myorg.test.TestMessages: C:\www\htdocs\messages.properties INFO 2010-04-28 11:38:31,805 [main] org.myorg.data.Messages: initializing Spring Message Source to C:\www\htdocs\messages.properties INFO 2010-04-28 11:38:31,821 [main] org.myorg.data.Messages: Attempting to load properties from C:\www\htdocs\messages.properties DEBUG 2010-04-28 11:38:31,836 [main] org.springframework.context.support.ReloadableResourceBundleMessageSource: No properties file found for [C:\www\htdocs\messages.properties_en_US] - neither plain properties nor XML DEBUG 2010-04-28 11:38:31,842 [main] org.springframework.context.support.ReloadableResourceBundleMessageSource: No properties file found for [C:\www\htdocs\messages.properties_en] - neither plain properties nor XML DEBUG 2010-04-28 11:38:31,848 [main] org.springframework.context.support.ReloadableResourceBundleMessageSource: No properties file found for [C:\www\htdocs\messages.properties] - neither plain properties nor XML INFO 2010-04-28 11:38:31,848 [main] org.myorg.test.TestMessages: I am C:\www\htdocs\messages.properties Messages.java package org.myorg.data; import java.io.File; import java.io.FileInputStream; import java.io.IOException; import java.util.PropertyResourceBundle; import java.util.ResourceBundle; import org.apache.commons.logging.Log; import org.apache.commons.logging.LogFactory; import org.springframework.context.support.ReloadableResourceBundleMessageSource; public class Messages { protected static final Log logger = LogFactory.getLog(Messages.class); private static ReloadableResourceBundleMessageSource msgSource = null; private static ResourceBundle RESOURCE_BUNDLE; public static final String PATH = "C:" + File.separator + "www" + File.separator + "htdocs" + File.separator + "messages.properties"; private Messages() { } public static String getString(String key) { initBundle(); return msgSource.getMessage(key, null, RESOURCE_BUNDLE.getString(key), null); } private static void initBundle(){ if(null == msgSource || null == RESOURCE_BUNDLE){ logger.info("initializing Spring Message Source to " + PATH); msgSource = new ReloadableResourceBundleMessageSource(); msgSource.setBasename(PATH); msgSource.setCacheSeconds(1); /* works, but you have to hardcode the platform dependent path starter. • WPF Error when implementing Login.xaml

    - by LnDCobra
    I am getting the following exception: "Nullable object must have a value" Everything was working when I was using StartupURI="MainWindow.xaml" but I wanted to implement a login screen so I changed this to Startup="Application_Startup" and then created the following method in App.xaml.cs: private void Application_Startup(object sender, StartupEventArgs e) { UpdateAccounts(); bool result = true; ///* LoginWindow login = new LoginWindow(); result = login.ShowDialog().Value; /* */ if (!result) { return; } MainWindow window = new MainWindow(); bool main = window.ShowDialog().Value; } Does anyone have any idea what is going on? Or any suggestions on what is the best practice for implementing login interface.

  • Facebook publishActivity: No error, but no activity published

    - by carlo.capocasa
    Hi, implementing publishActivity in PHP using the REST API using this code: $activity = array( 'message' => '{*actor*} did something.', 'action_link' => array( 'text' => 'Play Travians', 'href' => WEBROOT ) ); $activity = $facebook->api_client->dashboard_publishActivity($activity); I get a 15-digit number returned and no errors, however no activity appears in the logged in account or friends of this account. Help appreciated. Carlo
