• Way of knowing who called a singleton - objective C

  Hello, I am designing a game with several levels. I have a CCLayer defined as a singleton (called MasterScene) where I handle the pause page, transition page, player's score banner,... all the things common to all levels. So in each level, when the user pushes the pause button, a call is made to the singleton to display the CClayer corresponding to the pause page. My problem is that I want to know who called the singleton (which level) t. Is there a way of doing that ? Thanks

  I'm making a vb.net application which interacts with a flash chat room. I was capturing http traffic with live HTTP header in Firefox but it is not HTTP traffic. How can I implement it so that it can interact with a flash chat room? For example in this site. When people enter here they are required to enter a nickname to chat with other people. So what I exactly want know is, when enter this site I want to input my nickname into this flash chat window and click 'Join' button within VB.NET How can i implement this program with vb.net?   I have a canvas element with a drawing in it, and I want to create a button that when clicked on, it will save the image as a png file. So it should open up the save, open, close dialog box...   OK, so I'm playing around with an android app. The 90% use case is that users want to go straight to the primary list screen to find what they're looking for. That's what I want as my default screen. The first time a user loads the app however, some configuration is required before their list screen is of any value to them. So my question, is how I can go about displaying the configuration activity the first time the app is opened up, and then the list screen for future openings. I also want to put a demo button on the configuration screen, so I suppose more than just detecting that it's the first time, I specifically want to detect whether the user has performed certain configurations within the first screen.

  hey guys, i've a problem with progress dialog on opening an activity (called activity 2 in example). If i execute this code in the OnCreate of Activity2 and if i replace the showApps by the code on OnCreate, Activity1 freeze 2 seconds, i don't see the progress dialog, and freeze again 2 seconds on activity 2 before seeing the result. An idea ?

  Hello - I have my views that are part of a tabBar. Each view has a navigationController. In one of my views I have an embeded xib component. This is a scrolling view with UIButtons inside it. I want to slide in another view, inside the navigationController when a person taps the button. I can get the taps, etc. BUT, I can't figure out how to find the controlling navigationController of that page to push the new view into. Nothing seems to work that I have tried. IS this possible?   Hello. Does anyone know how I can get the value of an imput box, without having a form? I want a sumbit button, but instead of submiting a form, I want it to change data in a MySQL database. • Image impending other elements in iphone app view!

  Hi. If someone could help I have a view in my iphone app with an image, a label and a button. I have positioned the image at the back however when I run the simulator the image is all that is showing. I have done exactly the same thing with other views and they work fine but can't get this one to work. I have checked that the image is "send to back" and other elements are at the front.
